Irene is a pretty interesting character as her design makes her look like a typical mage, but while you're standing there admiring her, she stabs you with her sword.
Compared to other Warriors, she only has 1 active skill (the rest are passives) as she heavily focuses on attacking enemies with Basic Attacks. On top of that, after her turn ends, she will buff surrounding allies with Inspiration that will make their attacks stronger. Overall, she introduces an interesting playstyle, but this makes her very reliable on equipment - as she will only whack the enemies with her sword.
