Description

Hokutou is a freelance AG who's no longer under Frontier's service. She goes back and forth inside the war zones to fight for civilians, which makes her a well-known hero.

Review

Why Access? Why? Hokutou during CBT1 and 2 was really good, but I guess she was too good to stay that way. Yes, Hokutou got hit with the nerf bat before the game was even released. It's a sad state of affairs. But of course, you know the AI version in Alienated Waypoint is somewhat good and really damn annoying. It doesn't matter if you tie with Sirius for the highest base speed stat, you're still bad. Also FYI, you're going to be fighting a version of her in the game mode Alienated Waypoint. Don't mistake that decent version of her for the real one.

For the longest time, Hokutou was a meme character, but the recent Madoka collab that was released in CN and JP versions had changed a few things though.

From being at the bottom of the bin to slowly inching up towards a niche like the armpit fetish she gives out. With the rise of green and red comps, to the fall of blue tank comps over the course of 2 months, she's cropped up a few times on the radar on offense PVP teams as a tech, mainly to counter Mami (which in all honestly was overhyped). The PVE side hasn't changed much but she's an alright pick for the green raid.

Hokutou's UE is finally here! This makes her even more of a potent threat as to shutdown opener units with her applying the 1 round extension on skills. She can finally sit high up top with the rest of the crew. Only took just over a year.
