General Info
Joining the Clover Academy as the teacher of the 'how to burn your resources' class, Fuegoleon joins the power lineup with a very simple but powerful kit - inflicting burn on the enemy and then inflict a LOT of damage.
He can apply burns with his first two skills: his Skill 1 is pretty simple, inflicting burn on an enemy for 2 turns while his second skill will apply burn and, should the enemy be already inflicted with a burn, dispels barriers before attacking. If you have his skill page, he will also inflict a burn for 2 turns to a random enemy, allowing you to spread the debuffs on the enemy team to setup his special skill.
His special skill will target all the enemy team and will increase the damage the enemy will take depending on the stacks of burn on the target - before the hit, Fuegoleon will dispel any existing barrier and he will remove all stacks of burn from the enemy. His united attack is a single target attack, dealing 30% extra damage if the target is afflicted with a Damage over Time debuff. Lastly, he will be immortal for 1 turn once per battle when pushed below 30% HP.
Fuegoleon is a great addition to burn teams, even if he is currently like a small ember - the burn team power and overall efficiency will grow as we get more units in the upcoming seasons, allowing this hot-blooded teacher to go wild with his special skill. It's worth noting that he is a high investment unit, as his performance will depend significantly from having dupes ESPECIALLY on his skill page.
While we generally try to review units for their individual performance, Fuegoleon WILL shine only if you can provide him with specific team members, so free-to-play players or people uninterested in burn teams may want to think carefully about how much they want to invest in him.
Dupes
His E2/E5 are pretty similar, giving Fuegoleon 5/15% damage on the enemy for each stack of burn. His enhancement stats also include crit rate %, a welcome addition on any dps.
Skill page
It's hard to suggest anything other than Fuego's personal skill page. His skill page adds a % chance to inflict extra damage on enemies for every instance of burn, on top of giving an extra burn on a random enemy when using the skill 2. The % starts at 10% and he gets an extra 30% on the 1st, 3rd and 5th dupe. He also gains an extra 20% damage per stack of burn, for an insane total 25% damage buff per burn stack with a 100% chance to proc. Yes, you are reading it right.
PVP
Fuegoleon is a great pvp unit, working both in mono power teams as well as burn-focused teams. Burn teams will get great additions in the near future, like Halloween Charmy, Ceremony Magna and Mereleona, allowing him to focus on dishing out the damage while his team takes care of the burns. While you wait for Charmy, SR Therese can be a suitable replacement for her burn applications.
You can also play him in mono power teams but that limits his potential significantly, as he might not have time to setup his burn playstyle. It goes without saying that he is a great unit to counter Summer Noelle, considering he will dispel her barrier before attacking.
