Chorus ship and lots of bug fixes and system changes this week!

15/03 Global Patch Notes

Summary of the update

  • New Substeam - Project OZ.

New Ship - Chorus

Chorus is a great PVE ship that replaces Kamiizumi in Raids, but in other PVE modes, it's still inferior to it.

In PVP while the ship on paper looks like good pair for the Elysium faction, Maestro still prefers using other ships that give her and her faction more important buffs than EVA.

New Substream

  • After the maintenance on the 15th of March 2023, Project OZ will be released.

System Updates

Substream
  • Substream – Entrance count to [Hard] mode is changed to 10.

  • An episode shortcut is added.

    • On the item acquisition list, it will now display on which episode you have gotten that item.

  • A list of substream episodes is added on the top left corner in [Substream] in the [Side Story] tab.

  • The substream entrance requirement will change to clearing all Mainstream episode 2.

    • Other episodes’ interconnected requirements will not change.

  • BGM that is being played in the substream episode main screen will now continue to play when entering into the battle.

    • Upon moving to another tab or to the main lobby, the BGM will change accordingly.

Dive
  • [Dimension Surface Resistor] will be deleted.

  • Each dive coordinate will now have a [Squad Formation] tab available.

  • On the Euclid Sector, artifact events will be added. If the event is activated, you can earn an artifact at random.

  • Four resource artifact icon images will change.  

  • The dive sector icon image will change.

  • The dive sector’s battle medal mission will be deleted.

  • Dive coordinates, exploration coordinates background, and background music will change.

    • 45th floor’s BGM will change.

    • 46 ~ 49 floor’s BGM will change.

  • From the original 49 artifacts, 29 artifacts will be deleted, and new 31 artifacts will be added.

Shadow Palaces
  • The Shadow Palaces will roll back to before the 6.0 update.

  • The original Shadow Palaces shop, equipment molds, missions, and achievements will also roll back to before the 6.0 update.

    • The achievement, missions, and shop purchase count will reset.

    • The number of quantum coords crystals, Shadow Palaces rankings, the last Shadow Palaces progress, and the squad info that cleared the Shadow Palace will remain

  • The Shadow Palaces will now have the skip function

Gauntlet
  • Ranked Battle – From Bronze 5 to Silver 1, if the difference between two CEOs’ squad’s combat points is too great, then they will no longer be matched.

  • If the CEO is playing Counterside on a Steam client and is in the queue for a [Ranked Battle] while the client is running in the background, then the mute will temporarily be disabled to allow the CEO to be alerted when the queue is completed.

  • If the CEO receives an invitation for a [Friendly Match] on a Steam client when the client is running in the background, then the mute will temporarily be disabled to allow the CEO to be alerted.

  • Ranked Battle – From Bronze 5 to Silver 1, depending on the result of the match, the maximum point loss will be changed from -19 points to -15 points.

  • In the Strategy Battle, [Consecutive Win Bonus] will now apply.

Jukebox
  • In the lobby settings, the [ Continuous BGM Play in Lobby ] option is added.

    • If the [ Continuous BGM Play in Lobby ] option is off, then the BGM will cut while switching to different tabs and the main lobby like before.

    • If the [ Continuous BGM Play in Lobby ] option is on, then the BGM being played will continue even when switching to different tabs.

    • When entering into the actual PVE/PVP battle, the BGM for that situation will play.

  • [Sort by Name] function is added

Improvements and Changes

  • An improvement where Tactical Update stats would also apply to the Combat Point.

  • Dimension Timming’s reward system that gave CEOs relative to the amount of obtained points will now be deleted. Regardless of how many points are obtained, now the reward is given by counting how many branches in Dimension Trimming the CEO has cleared.

  • The location to obtain Unit Data will now be displayed.

  • The item with a time constraint will now display how much time is left on the item before it disappears.

  • In Request – Challenge, an appropriate level will now display for each dungeon.

  • The notation of consumed resources will be unified to [Resource Owned / Resource Consumed]

  • When placing a rearmed unit in the practice mode, it will now also apply the leader skill while practicing.

  • The unit acquired through clearing a stage will now have a different effect.

    • Upon acquiring a new unit, an acquisition effect will display.

    • Upon acquiring an SSR rarity unit, an acquisition effect will display even if that SSR unit was acquired before.

    • Upon acquiring an N, R, SR rarity unit, an acquisition effect will not display if that N, R, SR unit was acquired before.

  • A skip option will now display on the dungeon information panel before entering the squad formation screen.

  • Management Guide will be updated.

  • The battle medal acquisition order will be unified.

    • Horizontal format: Gold / Silver / Bronze medal will display from top to bottom.

    • Vertical format: Bronze / Silver / Gold medal will display from left to right.

  • Unit types in Monster Tag information will be improved to include Counter/Soldier/Mech, etc.

  • Now an animation will play while downloading a patch.

  • Unit interaction is added.

    • Hero Blossom Kaci Bins

  • Now the credit product in the Gauntlet Point Shop will no longer have purchase limitations.

  • The red dot that displays on top of the [Storage] will now only show when there is a time-constraint item in the [Storage].

Bug Fixes

  • A fix where the PHASE dungeon’s level and the actual dungeon’s level did not match.

  • A fix where on the Steam client, if the CEO scrolls down in the store page, the price displayed and the actual price did not match.

  • A fix where on the [Tactical Update] to select the unit for the update, spontaneous multiple unit slot UI would be displayed.

  • Adjust the volume control on the holoMyth event page to follow the sound adjustment in the setting.

  • A fix where the lock UI is not disappearing intermittently after being unlocked.

  • A fix where the Counter Pass level displays as Level 1 upon access.

  • A fix where the [EVENT] icon appears in the CEO’s Office button within the top right of the overall menu when applying the salary negotiation cost reduction buff.

  • A fix in Strategy Battle where the Tactical Update level is not displayed in Friendly Match on the opponent’s Defense Squad.

  • A fix where World Map Branch Dive excessively appeared due to specific conditions.

  • A fix where black appeared in the buff display of Boss/Ship intermittently

  • A fix Where the HP of the target unit appeared to be recovered at twice the normal recovery rate when certain healing skills were used
