Arachne is the Mech version of Rifleman. If you only judge her (yes, her AI is a woman) by the skillset you would think she is only good against air enemies, but in reality, her damage is quite good even when fighting ground targets. This makes her a good pick for the Ranger spot in pure Mecha teams, but only there.
Her biggest weakness is short-range, which often gets her killed before she can stack her passive.
