Review

Best Mascot Irie with her Rearm received a big upgrade to her base stats, putting her on par with other 3-cost defenders. And if you add the barrier that she gets when she's used as Leader, her HP pool becomes simply massive. Still, just like her base version, Mascot doesn't have MDL and this makes her crap compared to any defender with MDL both in PVE and PVP.

Also, the barrier makes A. Na Yubin users smile from ear to ear because they know he will chunk her HP.

Overall, her base version is still more useful because she's only 2-cost and Mascot Irie needs a buff to make her competitive with other defenders (honestly just give her MDL and she will be fine).


MDL = Max Damage Limit or DMG Taken Limit is a stat that only appears on SSR rarity Defenders. How does it work? For example, if an employee has 10% MDL it means that any hit that does more damage than 10% of his max HP, will have the part exceeding the MDL value lowered by 80%. This prevents Defenders with MDL from being one-shot by skills/ultimates.

A way to counter MDL is to use employees with great ASPD like Administration Rifleman, Ifrit, or Millia Rage.
