Review
Sonia is a forward-deployment character who specializes in disrupting enemies and acting as an off-tank, buying time for her allies. She's the first 'paratrooper' type employee released after over a year since the last one - characters with this ability are hard to balance in PVP and the developers were reluctant to continue adding them to the game. Still, with Sonia they made sure that her kit isn't as strong as other paratroopers and she's actually decently balanced.
Sonia being a supporter has a balanced set of stats and her damage output can be considered average - especially because she's more focused on keeping herself alive. Her kit forces her to be deployed behind enemy lines where she stays alive and disrupts the enemies. Sadly, because she's a supporter, she doesn't have MDL, so often she dies right after being deploying, not achieving anything.
Her second issue is that compared to other paratroopers who either assassinate the backline or crowd control it, Sonia marely reduces the Healing Received. Sure it lasts for a decent amount of time, but without using other backline attackers, Sonia's sacrifice won't mean anything. And also, there's already a lot of meta characters who can debuff the amount of Healing and they don't instantly after summoned.

Paratrooper - can be deployed anywhere on the battlefield,
Decent stats so she can keep herself alive decently well,
Healing Received debuff.
Cons
No MDL, so she can't tank as good as Defenders,
Her debuff doesn't kill or CC the backline so you need to pair her with someone else to actually make use of the Healing Received debuff she applies.
