Our second Angel added to the game, Claudia is a very reliable AoE soul that can also deal a respectable amount of damage against a single target. Her main mechanic plays around the shock debuffs: when she is on the field, shocked targets will receive 100% additional shock damage, and Claudia will also deal up to 80% extra damage with normal attacks to all enemies with the shock status. However, when she's on the field, you won't be able to apply any other damage over time status. This means that while Claudia doesn't exactly need major support on the field, she will need to pick her teammates carefully - playing her with other characters that require their specific DoT like Hong or Velanna will severely hinder their damage output. She is capable of debuffing Atk by 25% for 10 seconds on her sub-skill "Thunderstriker", inflicting dispel for up to two buffs on her main skill, and has a stun and short pull on her sub-skill "Thunderbolt's Command". Her ultimate damage power also depends on the number of enemies of the field - the damage per target goes up as the number of enemies goes down - this makes Claudia a competent single-target damage dealer as well since her ultimate damage will be tripled against one enemy after level 201. Being a very strong AoE unit means she thrives in PvE content - on a new account, you can expect her to steamroll early game. With investment, she can easily nuke the entire enemy team in lategame 5v5 content as long as she has a good frontline keeping her safe until she can use her main + ultimate. When dealing with single-target content such as Guild bosses or ESS, her performance is lacking quite a bit compared to high damage single-target focused units. Despite the triple damage to a single target, her damage potential just doesn't quite match up. That said, she does amazingly well in the Dark Knight raid due to the boss' summoned adds, which Claudia can hit with AoE nukes to rack up huge amounts of damage very quickly. Overall, Claudia is an amazing unit for all multi-target content, and as an Angel unit, very well worth investing in. Though also as an Angel unit, she is difficult to build if you've missed her banner as getting Angel or Demon characters off-rate is nearly impossible. She's also very good to build for the Dark Knight raid, and for the potential of future multi-target raid content.
