The first new unit in Human faction. Jiho has a very unique kit. On paper, she seems to be overlooked by plenty of players and content creators on release, but you should really try her kit without using her as a traditional healer.
She has a ton of speed manipulation in M1/S2/S3, for the enemy and her own team, as well as S1 debuff removal, crit rate increase with a 14-second uptime on her artifact (which is at roughly 70% uptime), and a silence at 201 on her ult. Through testing the story chapters, in particular chapter 15, we notice that she works extremely well when her M1 is used on a hyper-carry DPS that gets into low health for her to target with M1.
Keep in mind that the description of her main skill is a bit misleading as she gives the Speed bonus to herself, not the ally she's healing.
She is also a very low investment unit, in the sense that most of her kit’s strong points like speed manipulation and crit buffs are not determined by stats, and hence the number of limit breaks is not as impactful compared to stat-hungry unit archetypes like DPS, tanks or even pure healers. As such, her impact could be felt even with a single copy.
In the broader perspective, don’t view Jiho as a sole healer, since her heals are not as strong when compared to Talia or Catherine. This also links to one of her glaring weaknesses, which is the rather slow mana regeneration rate compared to other healers. Usually, Jiho will be the very last unit to use her M1 in your team, and this puts you in an awkward situation where your tank must live long enough for her to use her M1, and only then will her value start to shine. For most stages in story mode, she won't suffice as the only healer as your tanks will be dead or almost dead due to the CP gap. Overall, she is a niche unit, but when used with the proper setup she can work really well.
For boss stages, her M1 is a single target which is a huge weakness especially when bosses are dealing damage to your entire team, so she would not be enough to cover for everyone. Although her S1 is a teamwide heal that also removes 2 debuffs, the amount is too minimal when compared to the current best healers for bosses which are Talia and Prim.
For PVP, Jiho definitely has a use when you see that your opponent is running a stall team that lacks the DPS, so you’re not in a rush to heal.
Speed Manipulation.
Low investment unit as her skills do not scale with stats.
Great single target heals.
Low Mana Regen making her go last in team normally.
AOE Healing is lackluster.
