The best burst healer in the game, Prim excels at dishing out a large, instant heal compared to other healers like Catherine, Talia, or Clara who primarily does heals over time.
Being able to remove up to 3 debuffs with M1, Prim also has several useful buffs and debuffs on her subs, the most notable being a 25% attack buff for 12 seconds on S2. Her artifact adds a further layer of RNG of increasing speed, DEF, and crit rate to the entire team for 9 seconds, an extremely useful buff to grind out the resets at a difficult stage.
That said, Prim does fall short of Talia and Catherine in the healer department, since her kit has less team durability compared to the other 2. As a healer, the only noticeable heal is on her M1, so if your frontlines get low before the skill is up, Prim essentially has no added durability to your team.
Sharing a similar issue with Jiho, Prim’s M1 also takes longer to charge than others, so you would need to make sure your frontlines are able to survive until then. Granted that her S1 is a small heal and increases the DEF of allies by 10%, it cannot be compared to the kits of Catherine and Talia in terms of durability.
But with Velenna’s release and the rise of undead comp viability, Prim’s status as the only undead healer has allowed her to be stronger just for the faction bonus, so consider testing her if you are running undead comps.
Prim excels as an undead healer if you are not running Talia, since she also acts as a cleanser for the pesky debuffs. The focus on DOT comp is for hyper-carry Violatte to deal tons of damage, and Prim’s ATK buff as well as being part of the faction bonus allows her to be an extremely strong pick in undead comp boss stages.
Prim is rarely seen since her M1 usually takes too long to make a significant impact, especially when other meta healers like Catherine and Talia are common in PVP, Prim, unfortunately, falls short until undead gets more PVP focused units.
Best burst heal ingame.
Significant amounts of Team buffs to increase your DPS.
Only Prims M1 heals your team and has slower skill bar regen.
Lack of Defensive support unlike Talia and Catherine.
