Icicle Fist

Type: Control

Shapes her mana into a gauntlet through sheer force of will, then crashes it onto the nearest target, dealing damage equal to 300% of ATK and inflicting "Stun" on the target and all enemies within 6m for 4 sec.

When used while "Absolute Zero" is active, this skill also inflicts "Arctic Mana," dealing Freeze DOT equal to 60% of ATK every 2 sec for 24 sec.

Level 101:

Damage changes to 330%, and Freeze DOT changes to 80%.

Level 201:

Damage changes to 360%, and Freeze DOT changes to 100%.

Icicle Spear

Type: Damage - Single

Launches a spear of ice toward the farthest enemy, dealing damage equal to 260% of ATK.

When used while "Absolute Zero" is active, this attack is guaranteed to land as a critical hit.

Level 81:

Damage changes to 300%.

Level 181:

Damage changes to 340%. Also deals additional damage equal to 100% of ATK while "Absolute Zero" is active.

Type: Control

Creates a frost zone under the nearest enemy, freezing the target to deal damage equal to 150% of ATK and inflict Stun for 2 sec.

If "Absolute Zero" is active, damage changes to 200% and also attacks enemies within a 2.5m radius around the target.

Level 21:

Damage changes to 170%. Damage while "Absolute Zero" is active changes to 220%.

Level 121:

Damage changes to 190%. Damage while "Absolute Zero" is active changes to 240%.

Glacial Magnum

Type: Damage - Single

Teleports behind the farthest enemy, then unleashes condensed mana in a blast, dealing damage equal to 190% of ATK. If "Absolute Zero" is active, this attack also inflicts Freeze on the target dealing DOT equal to 60% of ATK every 2 sec for 6 sec.

Level 41:

Damage changes to 220%, and Freeze DOT changes to 70%.

Level 141:

Damage changes to 250%, and Freeze DOT changes to 80%. Becomes immune to all crowd control effects while using this skill.

Absolute Zero

Type: Buff

Whenever an ally uses her main skill, Renee (Argent) gains a stack of "Mana Release" increasing her ATK by 2.5% (up to 4 stacks).

At max "Mana Release" stacks, she consumes all stacks to enter "Absolute Zero" for 24 sec, increasing her ATK by 20%. "Mana Release" stacks are not gained while "Absolute Zero" is active.

Level 61:

ATK increase from "Mana Release" changes to 5%. ATK increase while "Absolute Zero" is active changes to 30%.

Level 161:

ATK increase from "Mana Release" changes to 7.5%. ATK increase while "Absolute Zero" is active changes to 40%.

Nuada Airgetlam (Argent)

Type: Buff - Mass

Increases damage dealt by 5% and Crit DMG by 10% for 16 sec when "Absolute Zero" is triggered. While "Absolute Zero" is active, all non-Fairy allies recover 150 Mana every 2 sec and all other Fairy allies recover 300 Mana every 2 sec.

Upgrade 1:

Damage dealt increase changes to 10%, and Crit DMG increase changes to 12.5%.

Upgrade 2:

Damage dealt increase changes to 15%, and Crit DMG increase changes to 15%.

Upgrade 3:

Gains a stack of "Mana Release" every 10 sec once battle begins. While "Absolute Zero" is active, her damage dealt increase from her Artifact effects changes to 20%, her Crit DMG increase from her Artifact effects changes to 17.5%, and Mana Recovery every 2 sec changes to 200 for non-Fairy allies and 400 for all other Fairy allies.

Upgrade 4:

Damage dealt increase changes to 25%, and Crit DMG increase changes to 19%.

Upgrade 6:

Renee (Argent) is an INT Caster Fairy Soul (Released 08 May 2025) that primarily depends on her Absolute Zero passive to empower her skills and deal damage.

  • Passive: Absolute Zero - The core of her kit. Using any ally's main skill will give Renee (Argent) a stack of Mana Release (at the end of the skill cast), which increases her Attack (7.5% x 4 Stacks). Upon accumulating 4 stacks, These stacks are converted into “Absolute Zero” for 24s which increases her Attack by 40% and empowers her other skills. Renee (Argent) cannot gain Mana Release stacks while Absolute Zero is active.

  • Main: Icicle Spear - Deals Damage to farthest enemy. If “Absolute Zero” is active the attack is guaranteed Critical Hit and additional 100% damage is dealt.

  • S1: Cryo Spike - Deals Damage to nearest enemy & inflicts Stun for 2s.  If “Absolute Zero” is active, it increases damage and turns to a small AoE (2.5m) around the nearest target.

  • S2: Glacial Magnum - Teleports behind the furthest enemy and attacks them. She is immune to CC while using this skill. If “Absolute Zero” is active, inflict Freeze DoT on the target for 6s.

  • Ultimate: Icicle Fist: Deals AoE (6m) damage to nearest target and Stuns them for 4s. If “Absolute Zero” is active, it inflicts Arctic Mana (Freeze Dot) for 24s.

  • Artifact: Nuada Airgetlam (Argent):  Increases self damage dealt by 5-35% and self Crit Damage by 10-23% for 24s when “Absolute Zero” is triggered. If “Absolute Zero” is active, all Fairy allies recover 300-500 Mana/2s and other allies recover 150-250/2s. At Legendary+ she gains a stack of Mana Release every 10 sec and at Origin, Mana Release can now be stacked with “Absolute Zero”

Story time: Renee (Argent) released to rather controversial circumstances in the Asia Server. Her event had a ton of bugs, and she wasn’t even available for summoning due to a technical error for most of the first day of her debut. The devs were quick to fix this, but she remains the subject of contention due to an unsatisfactory compensation plan (which left hundreds of glitchy pickup summons hand waved as collective server luck-issue). 

Which is ironic, because Renee (Argent) is rather mediocre. Her kit is largely vanilla until her passive comes online - a huge handicap in PvE situations as the fight would be over by then. In addition, without access to easy crit rate buffs, the crit damage self-buffs provided by her artifact go largely underutilised, with only her Main gaining Guaranteed Critical Hits with her Passive. The most unique part of her kit, periodic mana gain for all allies, is also locked to her artifact.

As of present, she lacks the wow factor to replace any unit in Meta Guild Raid Teams (outside Dark Knight) and certainly won't be the first choice to push PvE content. 

Investment:

As a DPS, we always recommend Origin Ascension and L+ artifact as a baseline.  Priority should go to her artifact, which improves both her personal damage and support capabilities simultaneously.

Team Synergies:

Renee (Argent) can be used as a supportive sub-DPS in mostly raid scenarios, thanks to her Artifact. Ideally, she wants Hanul or other Crit Rate buffing souls in order to supplement her ailing Crit Rate to maximize her CDMG gains. She also pairs well in thematic comps, be it a Chalar-heavy team (thanks to Weiss artifact and Freeze synergies), or a Fairy Heavy team (thanks to Renee’s own artifact)

Conclusion:

To summarize, Renee is a perfectly skippable unit, be it for Guild Raids or PvE. High artifact investment, restrictions in her kit, and low Crit Rates hold back her feasibility.  However she does hold some utility as a support with Mana Recovery in certain Raids, and will find some room in comps, but is not a priority otherwise.
