Review

Opening the dance floor right after the end of anniversary, Tasha joins the beast faction as a ranged assassin that loves having dance partners to unleash a lot of damage!

Her Passive, 'Like Dancing!', increases the damage of her attacks by 15% (1 ally) to an impressive 100% (4 allies) based on the number of allies within 3.5 meters. It also increases her speed by 20% with basic attacks. Her artifact causes her basic attacks to further buff her, increasing her attack by 25% and physical/magical resistance by 30% for 8 seconds if her allies are within 3.5m, at Legendary+ investment. This means building teams for Tasha requires multiple melee attackers to optimize her damage.

Her kit also has some decent utility and teamwide benefits. Her main skill dispels up to 3 buffs from the nearest enemy, and her Ultimate skill, 'Eyes Glued on Me', will stun the nearest enemy for 4 seconds and benefits from twice the damage increase provided by her passive.

Her Sub Skill 1, 'Cobra's Grace' will increase the enemy's incoming crit rate by 30%. This jumps up to 50% if there are 3 or more allies under the effect of 'Like Dancing'! and as long as there are 3 allies under the buff, it will also decrease the target's Physical Resistance by 20% for 14 seconds. This gives her great team damage potential, especially in raids, where the main focus of your DPS is to crit often and hard.

Her Subskill 2, 'Eagle's Swiftness' targets the nearest enemy, stunning them for 3 sec. However at the start of a fight, the first cast will target the enemy with the highest attack - and it is currently the highest priority subskill in the game. This means it will act before very annoying subskills like Aki's mana down, Jacqueline's backline dive, Ayame's snare and so on, allowing you to counter these particularly annoying initial abilities.

Team building may also prove difficult for her, as she performs best when she is the only ranged unit on the team. That doesn't leave her without options though, as she is going to function very well with units like Haru, who already needs to have units sticking next to her in order to activate her passive. Her reliable access to dispel will cement her utility in raids, and she can also cheese stages in PvE or arena matches when paired with Aki, considering both their subskills will target the soul with the highest attack in short succession.

At the end of the day, Tasha is a solid addition to the beast faction, given she can both function as a primary damage dealer as well as a sub-DPS depending on your roster and the specific fight you are tackling. That said, she doesn't really add anything new to the game besides potentially giving the option to run two beast teams in raids, much like Eileen does for human teams.
