Beginner banners
New Expedition is a beginner banner that ends after 20 pulls. After it ends, New Friends becomes available and ends after 50 pulls.

The rate-up bonus starts before hard pity: after 75 pulls on character banners and after 65 pulls on artifact banners.
What currencies do banners use?
Each banner type uses its own summon currency. Character rate-up banners use Compass of Destiny, artifact banners use Compass of Memory, and normal or permanent banners use Compass of Promise.
What are New Expedition and New Friends?
New Expedition and New Friends are beginner-focused banners. New Expedition ends after 20 pulls, then New Friends becomes available and ends after 50 pulls.
