Review
Shizuru is an aggressive support who synergizes well with DPS characters who make use of lots of Red cards. Her kit and Awakenings have a strong focus on her Ultimate: a unique buff that increases the attack speed of all her allies. It also adds a buff that allows her, Karen, and Julian to attack twice per auto-attack.
If you're running a "Commando" team with those characters, it's strongly recommended to have her as the Leader. Otherwise, you can avoid that and focus on her other tools: stun, self-sustain, damage, and card draw.
Great synergy with Red card-based decks. Both her skills can draw Red cards, making her one of the best supports for those teams.
Really cheap character to build since she's an R, making it easy to get her Awakenings.
Her damage is below average compared to SR and SSR units due to her rarity.
For her [Stun Grenade] card to draw cards, you need to unlock her Resonance

Best Teams
The teams below come from our Teams database and showcase ANY team with Shizuru present within in all content available in the game.
Ganya Axe Throw F2P
Mode: Combat
★★★
★
★
A pretty simple deck that disables most cards in favor of Ganya spamming her Ultimate thanks to the constant shuffling from Nayuta and Fenia. There is some RNG involved on getting the first Ultimate going, but after that it's smooth sailing.
Focus on equipping gear that increases [Physical] damage and buffs [Rend]. A great deck early on, since you can get Ganya for free.
This version of the deck uses only Nayua as SSR character, so it's F2P friendly, considering both Ganya and Fenia are free, while Shizuru is an R unit.
Summer Shizuru Budget
Mode: Combat
★★★
★★★
★★
A pretty straightforward team, focused on self-buffing. It's very cheap to get going, but requires a bit of investment in equipment in order to tackle high-end content effectively.
Mumei Basic Team
Mode: Combat
★★★
★★
★★★
A standard Mumei team utilizing basic supports to cycle the deck. Mumei’s Leader skill can be activated by obtaining Red, Green and Purple cards. We will capitalize on red card spam support to constantly activate it.
Ikoma Basic Team
Mode: Combat
★★★
★★
★★★★
A basic Ikoma team that features high drawing capabilities and red card spamming. Stella's cost reduction should be enough to cover the cost regen deficiency, along with Aoba, who provides cost gen on discarding her improvisation 1. Yer for [Chill] or [Freeze] application.
Katas Ikoma Team
Mode: Combat
★★★★
★★
★★★★★
Features katas as a Sub-DPS, and she gives cost from her [Bubblegum]. Arcana to help cycle the deck, along with Stella and Shizuru for Red card spam.
Mumei Ikoma Team
Mode: Combat
★★★★
★★
★★★★★
A basic Kabaneri collab team with Mumei as the leader and Ikoma as a Sub-DPS. Stella generating Red cards and being able to draw purple cards helps a lot in reducing Mumei’s Leader Skill cooldown. Similarly, Shizuru and Arcana provide utility for the team to function
Paladi Basic Team
Mode: Combat
★★★
★★★
★★★
A basic team for Paladi, having low-cost red cards to easily reduce leader skill cooldown. With this Paladi will be able to reach the max A-2SO summon(4) as fast as she could and even permanently stun the enemies. If it feels like there's a lack of healing, Rachel can replace Arcana. This team is capable of dealing with basic contents such as evictions and battle plans(except Fine Tune, Ops. and Pressure Test),expect this team to be viable on some contents, Please use a different setup on harder contents.
