Should You Pull? - October 2025
Welcome to our monthly overviews, your quickest stop to help you decide on your pull plans! Below you will find a brief description of all banners from this month (Umas and Support Cards alike). If you wish to get more in-depth information, check out each respective Uma page, as well as our Support Card and Support Card Analysis pages.
You can see the Sparks of your uma on the “Inspiration” tab of their stat screen.
Oct 2

Cards:
Mejiro Ryan [Winning Pitch] +
Mejiro Ardan [My Heart Will Go On] +
Mejiro Ardan [Mejiro Ardan - Tracen Academy]

Ryan is a fairly good Guts card, but Guts cards aren’t meta and won’t be for a long time. And Ardan is an average Wit SR. Easy skip.
Character:
Fuji Kiseki

Similar in strength to Oguri, but specialized into Mile. Better than Oguri in Mile, about the same outside of it. Her unique skill is also strong when inherited, a 0.25 speed like Oguri and Rudolf, so she’s a desirable parent.
Oct 7

Cards:
Vodka [Wild Rider] +
Nishino Flower [Even the Littlest Bud] - Rerun

This banner looks good. Vodka is a Power card that gives a gold recovery, and Nishino is an acceptable Speed SSR. However, in a month, Rice Shower Power releases, and she’s a Power card that gives two gold recoveries in the new scenario (Maestro and Cooldown). So, there’s no need to take Vodka here, just wait for Rice.
Character:
Gold City

Gold City is an effective gambling uma, like Grass Wonder. She also receives buff after buff in the future, so even though she’s not great right now, she becomes quite competitive in the future. Her gold heal gains a speed debuff component later, so she can also be a debuffer in Mile after that.
If she starts trying to overtake someone late in the middle leg, her unique will trigger and let her carry accel into the spurt. You’ll want to pair her with skills that trigger around there, which vary based on the track. She can further gamble with her built-in Switch-up Pro. Also, note that every race you do after Tennosho Spring on Gold City will give you all stats and extra SP. This can let you get much higher SP counts, allowing you to buy a ton of skills for Team Trials.
Oct 14

Cards: Winning Ticket + Sweep Tosho
Sweep is an alright Speed SSR, but there’s also the opportunity cost of not being able to use the Sweep SR alongside her. Though, her first event can give you Straightaway Spurt, which you could use to avoid making End Closer parents. And Ticket is a really bad card, even the Stamina welfares outclass her.
Character:
Summer Maruzensky

Summer Maru will be the best Front Runner in the game for a few months, until Valentine’s Bourbon releases. If you love Front Runners, you’ll usually want to enter two into each Champions Meeting, and she’ll remain second best for longer. Also pretty good as a parent for Front Runners.
Character:
Summer Special Week

A generic Late Surger, but pretty strong as long as it’s a distance where the heal from her unique helps out. She does nothing special, but she does it well, similar to umas like Oguri Cap.
Oct 21

Cards:
Tokai Teio [Dream Big!] +
Special Week [The Brightest Star in Japan!] - Rerun

Teio is actually pretty good. She has Power Bonus. Her skill isn’t good in CM, but is consistent for Team Trials. But, I doubt most people have the gems to both go for Teio and also pull on the upcoming Riko/Rice banner, and there are two Speed card banners coming up in a few months that have free pulls on them, so you probably won’t get much use out of her. Special Week is a Guts card.
Character:
Meisho Doto

Doto gets acceleration when she passes someone in the final leg or beyond. So, if she gets lucky, she can zoom. It’s not consistent though, so she’s just a gambling uma. Everything is consistent enough in Team Trials.
Oct 30

Cards: Nice Nature (A) + Tosen Jordan (D)
Nice Nature gives On Your Left! which is a skill Late Surgers use for gambling. Currently, that skill is only given by Winning Ticket Guts, so switching from Guts to Wit is a big boost. Especially since 3-4 Wit card builds are common in the Unity Cup scenario. And she has 15% Race Bonus, making her good in the third scenario as well. For most players, there will be more important banners to be saving your gems for, so this banner is mainly for people who want to specialize in Late Surger umas.
Jordan is worse than other SR Stamina options.
Character:
Eishin Flash

Consistent in Team Trials, but has nothing going for her in Champions Meeting. Future scenarios also frequently give out the golds she has built-in for free, so she ends up getting less skills than other umas.
