[S Corp. Ch'unokkun] Hong Lu

Ch’unokkun Hong Lu is a promising Bleed and Poise ID that introduces the new status “Trussed”, which entails targeting a specific unit who has the Trussed status for more damage on them as well as debuff infliction.

To begin with his kit, we will first start with Hong Lu’s unique effects and his two passives. 

• Trussed [Hong Lu]- will make the person inflicted with it have 2 less min and max speed and take +10% Pride damage. This effect would only decay on turn end when the inflictor did not hit the enemy with this status and when the inflictor leaves the battlefield or inflicts it onto another enemy. You can stack this effect up to 3 times. 

• Prisoner Transport Arrangements - PTA for short, gained from Hong Lu’s in-built passive. Gives Bleed infliction, Poise Potency, and Clash Power.

• Avulsion Wind - Makes the enemy gain 2 Bleed Potency and 1 Bind. Stacks up to 3 times. Overall, an okay source of passive Bleed Potency

Ch’unokkun Hong Lu has an in-built passive where if there is a target with Trussed [Hong Lu], he will gain PTA. This passive also allows him to redirect enemy skills that have Trussed [Hong Lu] to himself.

Ch’unokkun Hong Lu also has a second passive which activates on 3 Pride Resonance called Scouring Hunterband. If Hong Lu is higher speed than the target, he will deal bonus damage depending on the speed difference times 2 to deal up to 10% bonus damage. If the target also has Trussed [Hong Lu], the damage will also be doubled, the new maximum becoming a bonus 20% damage. He will also deal an additional +5% damage for every ally that has a Slash Pride Skill equipped for that turn at Combat Start, this effect being capped at 30% bonus damage.

With this covered, we can get to the skills which are quite simple this time around.

• Skill 1 - Constricting Ohra Bonds - 3 Coins - Base Roll 11, Max Roll 18 - Really solid Skill 1 all around with good Bleed infliction, Poise gain, and bind. If the target already has Trussed [Hong Lu], this skill will inflict 1 more.

• Skill 2 - Avulsion Slash - 2 Coins - Base Roll 16, Max Roll 21, Max Roll on Reuse 29 - On Crit, this skill will inflict 1 Avulsion Wound and if the target has 2+ Trussed [Hong Lu], the final coin of this Skill will be reused once per skill to inflict a total of 2 Avulsion Wounds (if both coins crit) and Bleed will be activated on the target, making them lose 1 Bleed Count. Hong Lu will also gain 2 Haste next turn on coin reuse.

• Skill 3 - Hunter’s Scouring - 4 Coins - Base Roll 16, Max Roll 25 - This skill will inflict a lot of debuffs and deal bonus damage if the target has both Trussed [Hong Lu] and Avulsion Wound. For Avulsion Wound, the skill does +20% damage, and for Trussed [Hong Lu], the skill will have all of its coins converted to Unbreakable Coins, gain +1 Final Power, and the final coin of the skill will inflict +2 Bleed Count and 1 Attack Power Down next turn. You will be inflicting a lot of Bleed and Bleed Count combined with up to 2 Avulsion Wounds if the attack crits, as well as 1 Pride Fragility next turn if the attack crits.

• Defense - Throwing the Ohra Bond - 1 Coins - Base Roll 13, Max Clash Roll 15 - Extremely good source of Poise and Poise Count. You can use this skill to get Trussed [Hong Lu] inflicted onto the enemy as soon as possible.

Overall, Ch’unokkun Hong Lu is a pretty simple ID with a ton of debuffs and utility that you can use in a Poise/Bleed hybrid team. 

Notable ID/Team Synergy:

• Pride Resonance - Hong Lu’s passive highly emphasizes that you use Pride Reson for him to deal more damage via his passive, as his Passive alone could give him +50% damage for free.

• Blade Lineage - While it doesn’t have any effect on the tier list as this mode isn’t considered at all for rankings, with the Mirror Dungeon Theme Pack “Mnestic Experience” with a certain Ego Gift, Hong Lu can gain the “Blade Lineage” Trait Keyword and work as if this unit is a Blade Lineage ID, fitting into the Blade Lineage team.

• The Ring Team - If you do not have Nursefather Hong Lu, the amount of debuffs this ID inflicts can make for a good slot into that team, as he can inflict a lot of Bleed and unique debuffs for all of the other Ring IDs. However, if you do have Nursefather Hong Lu, just use him instead.
