W Hong Lu is a charge support who also can tank a bit. Although he has no aggro or other defensive capabilities other than Charge Barrier. W Hong Lu is not that great with clashing but is extremely helpful in his utility to charge teams. Other than that, he lacks in damage and is generally not that helpful in teams that aren't focused around charge.
Notable E.G.O Synergies:
Dimensional Shredder - Helps with own charge gain and a bit of rupture application but main benefit comes from W Hong Lu speed that allows him to setup up to 3 fragile for the entire team easily.
