Review

The only thing stopping Don from entering the SSS tier is her bad performance in short fights. As Railway, the end game content showed us, fights that drag on or fights against bosses that we want to end in the least amount of turns as possible, are W Don territory. After all the changes to passives, sanity and with the release of Telepole EGO for Don, she turned into a monster that can even solo certain boss fights way better than any other Identity in the game.

Her first skill Rip, in terms of effects, is bad and kinda meh in terms of clashing. Nothing special but because it is the way it is, it balances out her other skills.

Her second skill, Leap, is not only a great clashing skill due to coin number and its power but also gives Don a whooping 8 Don'sCharge (technically 7 due to the fall off) and applies 2 Fragile. This skill can do damage and because W Don speed is not bad, Fragile can help other teammates do more damage. In solo, where Don has access to more skill slots, Fragile will stack and will help her third skill reach absurd numbers even alone.

Her third skill, Rip Space, requires 10 Charge to gain +4 skill power and turn it into the second-best damaging skill in the game. Before the release of Telepole EGO, Don was struggling to gain 10 Charge consistently to use Rip Space often but after release, Don can spam Rip Space. Damage on this skill can reach absurd numbers and unlike Quick Suppression, it won’t fall off in long fights as charge can be now easily regained.

Railway content, boss fights and charge teams are where she shines. Due to her Telepole EGO being dirt cheap in terms of resources it requires, it can be used at turn 2 and enable other charge-based identities, like R Corp Ishmael, way faster making Don a pillar of Charge teams.

W Don passives are great - the battle passive help more with charge and the support passive is a simple yet effective +1 power for the first skill for the highest-speed ally.

Sadly, W Don requires Telepole EGO to really shine which might be a bit problematic, especially in content where you can’t borrow a support Don.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Great Consistent Damage with no fall off,

  • Great Clashes,

  • Pillar of Charge Teams.

Cons

  • Reliant on own Telepole EGO,

  • Can’t unleash her potential in short fights.
