Here is our collection of FAQ, Tips and Tricks for Lost Sword.

Cards are acquired from dupes.

You need a dupe to Resonate a character in order to get their card. Be aware that some characters have subpar cards and it’s not always a good idea to go for Resonate before Transcending.

Characters like Ria, Isabel, Guinevere, Isolde, Claire have really subpar cards compared to other available cards so just focus on transcending them first.

Keep your 5 most used characters leveled evenly.

This game has an average level penalty when it comes to most content so keeping your team at similar levels will make your progression smoother.

The penalty is based on the average of 5 party members so even if you put 1 character at lv200 while others are at low lvl it will still be divided by 5.

If the average level of the 5 allied party members is lower than the enemy boss's level- Damage Dealt decreases, Received Damage increases.

If the average level of the 5 allied party members is higher than the enemy boss's level- Damage Dealt increases, Received Damage decreases.

The penalty starts from 1 lvl difference to a max of 25. Usually it is still quite easy to progress in Normal mode at 15 lvl diff.

Use Added Target II Staffs on your Healers

Dragon Buster, Abyssal Staff, and Goddess Staff are currently the only staves that have Added Target II statline which is very important for healers.

It allows them to heal more targets with their Auto-attacks which will make your survivability a lot better. Prioritize getting these Legendary weapons. You can craft them using the materials you get from Raids or using Legendary cubes. (Dragon Buster). Crafting is unlocked at lv50

Transfer Levels

You can transfer levels between characters for only 10k gold.

Use this if you need to switch out lineups when you haven’t unlocked the Round Table.

Round Table will make your characters be the same level as your 5 highest character levels.

You will also be using the Round Table to uncap your levels past 200 by having 5 characters at lv200. Round Table is unlocked at account lv60.

Pets are important!

Pets are one of the best stat-sticks in the game. It is recommended to have at least three good Transcendence 5 ATK pets. Keep in mind that while you have three pets per team, only the front pet will be using their skill.

Don’t starve yourself. Use Foods!

Foods are temporary stat boosts that will immensely help your progression by a mile. These stat bonuses shouldn’t be ignored. You can buy Steak and Chicken Stew from Elizabeth but you need to get the eggs from Town and cook them for Fried Eggs. The Dragon Scroll is from Raid Exchange Shop which you should also try to stock up.

Buy Daily Stuff from Exchange Shop.

You should definitely get all the Daily purchaseable items that don't consume Diamonds. Stock up on them and use them at the right time. However, you can skip buying the Upgrade Scroll Box because it’s not that hard to get those scrolls when you start farming in Stonehenge.

Skill Upgrades

Early game, the skill upgrades are a bit sparse so you need to be smart at using them. Prioritize maxing passives that buffs the entire team like Merlin / Ria / Cristina / Isolde.

Eventually you will get enough skill books to use it whenever you feel like it. The max lvl of skill you can upgrade is up to 3. Lv4 and Lv5 needs dupes at Transcendence 3 and 5.

Specialties

Specialities are unlocked when your character reaches lv20.

Priority for stats are as follows

• Healer Attack %
• Tanks Defense % / HP %
• DPS Attack % / Critical Damage %

Use the Transfer Trait button (cost: 100 diamond) to move all three specialization rolls from your current character to another character. The rolls will be removed from your current character upon transfer.

PvP Explanation

PvP is currently the most lackluster content in this game. It’s just the classic auto battle and you do not even lose points when your defense loses so people tend to just put a single Character in their defense to help out other people to climb and get their one-time PvP rank missions which gives a lot of Diamonds.

Getting King gives you 7777 diamonds not including the other rank missions that also gives a hefty amount of Dia. You can Rank up to King by just hitting these 1 defense units as long as you keep refreshing. There is a 3s cooldown on refreshing your opponent list.

We suggest you do the same for Global as there really isn’t enough reason to give a shit about PvP rankings. The rewards aren’t that amazing to even bother with top ranks.

Setup your Defense formation using an empty preset so you can just forget about it.

Team Presets

Use team presets to easily switch out teams depending on content you are tackling. Each preset has a separate set of Cards and equipped items.

We highly recommend not using the auto-equip because it doesn’t really use the actual best equipment that you have; it prioritizes item level over other stats relevant stats.

Don’t skip out on Labyrinth Weekly. Upgrade your town!

Do your weekly Labyrinth. You can set the difficulty once you select a node to fight. Higher difficulty gives more resources so do them before the end of the week after progressing enough to clear higher difficulty. The resources you get from Laby can be used to upgrade your town for permanent buffs and exp boost.

Join a Guild as soon as you can!

Guilds aren’t just for social things. You also get a small stat boost and you can get Guild Coins by donating and checking-in. You can use those Guild Coins to exchange daily stuff in the exchange shop.

Avalon also exists which is added later on. It is a bi-weekly event where you compete with other Guilds to get the highest score in your Guild’s chosen Castle.

It is recommended to prioritize attacking two Castles that your Guild tells you to. You can also click on the Castles and see how much participation your guild has done to the Castle.

Your guild can only get the rank of the highest Castle so attacking every Castle will make it worse for your Guild.

Each Castle has 3 phases that are different from each other, 1st and 2nd attempts are walls & Castle gate that gives you 100 diamond each and the 3rd attempt is the Castle guardian that will give you 150 diamond reward. In addition to the attempt rewards there are also ranking rewards which you will get once the event is concluded based on your Guild’s final ranking.

Growth & Relic Priority

For Growth, prioritize maxing Attack > Defense > HP or Defense > Attack > HP. Boss Attack should be maxed last because it is the least useful in early to mid game.

For Relics, focus on Grail first with a 2:1:1 ratio with the other two relics.

Stuck at a stage? Try these!

If you aren’t heavily level gapped by the stage then try to find out the reason why you are failing the stage.

• If you need more survivability then use more healers!
• If you are running out of time then switch out and use more DPS!

Each stage is different. Finding out and experimenting on lineups that will work is the only part of the game that will make you use brain cells.

Make sure you do keep up with your Dungeons. They give a hefty amount of EXP books at first clear! Hard & Hell mode also gives some EXP books. If you are stuck at Normal even after a bunch of trial and errors then consider trying other game modes for EXP or wait for the next day and park in the meantime.

One additional tip in figuring out what possibility went wrong is that you should read the mobs skills. You can do so by clicking on the picture from the enemy list. From there you can see the list of their skills and how they work.

Only use EXP Box and Gold Box when you need it.

These boxes scale with your progression so the further you are in Normal mode the better reward they give. Use them only when you are really in need for them like when you are stuck due to level gap.

Chat with your Waifus!

You get 6 chances to talk to them daily. Interact with them daily to improve their affection. They give bonus stats, stories and Diamonds through their character story.

Be smart at using your Souls to level your Cards!

Souls are obtained mainly from dupes of Awakened Characters (Max dupes). Thus, they are a very rare resource if you don’t always pull. Be smart at investing your souls to level up Cards.

Upgrade Equipments 6400 times

There is an Achievement that gives extra rewards when you upgrade equipment. It goes up to upgrading to 6400. It is recommended to upgrade only the Normal (white) gears to +5 so you won’t waste your resources.

Notable Rewards:

• 10 Pet Ticket - 2400 Upgrades
• 10 Character Ticket - 4400 Upgrades
• 5* Pet Ticket - 5400 Upgrades
• 5* Character Ticket - 6400 Upgrades

Cost:

• Normal Gear +5 = 5 Scrolls + 2500 Gold
• Normal Gear +10= 37 Scrolls + 10,500 Gold

Ignore Damage Reduction is not Defense Reduction

A common misconception of the Ignore Damage Reduction stat is that people think it is equal to Defense Break. It is not. This stat-line is only useful for mobs with inherent Damage Reduction buff. This is especially useful for Avalon’s Castle Gates and Walls.

Heals do not Crit

Another common misconception, Heals in this game do not crit so Critical Hit Rate and Critical Damage stat for Healers is essentially useless. The best stat you can give Healers is pure Attack % or Healing Increase.

Upgrade your Chaos Cubes accordingly

Upgrade your Cubes as they come. You can get the Cubes from dismantling gears with the same rarity. Craft Rare Cubes from dismantled Normal or Common gears but do not craft Heroic Cubes to make into Legendary Cubes if you are only using it to level the Cubes.

An exception of this is if you are using Legendary Cubes to craft Dragon Buster. (Only do this 1-3 times just to get your initial Healer weapon.)

Stonehenge

Save your Boss Tickets until you unlock Stonehenge lv8 because SH8 is the first SH where it drops multiple Legendary Gears. It also drops the earliest best-in-slot for Healer Accessory so farming this is good value before going over SH9/10.

Alternatively, you can also use it to farm SH7 for Aegis which is mostly used for clearing Cow Queen in Tower of Oberon F51.

The Stonehenge timer can also stack up to a max of 2h (Natural regen). You can use a Golden Compass to gain time.

The best place to spend your timer is SH3 without using any skills by one-shotting the mobs with fast characters so it doesn’t waste time. (Kay, Lua, and Nymyue)

SH3 gives the most amount of Cubes and Dust when you do it properly.

SH8 Unlocks at Chapter 25.

Don’t pull characters to Awaken

Awakening characters only gives them 20% ATK/HP/DEF. It’s more cost-efficient to just aim for Transcendence 5 instead. At T5 you already get +2 Skill lvl which is the most important part of the dupe system.

This advice doesn't matter if you are a whale. Just go for Awakening.

Gold Stages Strat

If you run the Gold stages using only ranger and wizard characters, the boss will not spawn mobs.You can use this strat to easily clear the stage.

Spending? Buy the monthly first!

The game is very much F2P friendly but spending a little will also make you progress further just like in any other gacha game. If you wish to spend a little then buying the monthly first is the way to go. You can buy it up to 7 times. Each buy will give you 400 Leon instantly and 100 Diamonds daily for 30 days.

Now, the cost might be different in Global but in KR it’s the same pricing as buying 400 raw leon.
