Tier List Information

Categories

Here are the categories we're rating the characters in:

  • PvE tier list rates the character performance in the following content:
    • Normal Campaign.
    • Hard Campaign.
    • Hell Campaign.
    • Tower of Oberon / World Tree Rift / Abyss.
  • Raids tier list rates the character performance in the following content:
    • Daily Raid.
    • Reincarnation of Stars.
    • Avalon.
  • PVP tier list rates the character performance in the following content:
    • Arena
  • Brawl tier list rates the character performance in the following content:
    • Cowfolk Island (120/150).
    • Goatfolk Island (100).
    • Catfolk Island (80/100).
    • Black Wolves Island (80/100).
Criteria
  • Manual Play as far as possible.
  • As far as possible Optimal compositions are used for each character within their content.
  • Character performances are rated at T5, with general investment (Training / Pets / Pet Gems) as equal as possible across all characters.

Roles - PVE/Raid/PVP
  • DPS - Characters' whose primary role is to deal damage. Includes both Ranged and Melee DPS.
  • Support - Characters whose primary role is to amplify team damage or reduce the enemy damage dealt. Includes Buffers, Debuffers and CC units.
  • Healer - Characters whose primarily role is to keep your Team alive by Healing, Shielding and other means (in Raids Healer role is rated by 'keeping Party alive with minimal Raid Score loss').
  • Tank - Characters whose primary role is to keep your Team alive by tanking the damage dealt by the enemy team.
Roles - Brawl

The Brawl Tier list is based on each character's ability within their respective roles:

  • DPS - Contribution to Kill Count
  • Support - Debuffing/ Buffing ability without access to the Ultimate, which is usually a time loss.
  • Healer - Ability to keep party alive, mainly at the last 30 seconds or so of the fight.
  • Tank - Ability to take damage on behalf of the party, mainly in the last 30 seconds or so. Less pronounced role due to front rows taken by DPSes and Backrow also taking damage from the enemy archers.

Most Brawl comps are formed with consideration to the 1st 3 roles, With tanking being an afterthought.

Ratings explained - PvE Early/Mid and PvE Late
  • S+ - Powerful, versatile units that can be used to brute force most Campaign stages and PvE content (Tower of Oberon, World Tree Rift, Abyss). They either have insane damage output or unrivaled supporting capabilities.
  • S - Strong units featuring remarkable DPS and/or supportive capability. May outperform S+ characters depending on Stage Conditions.
  • A - Much more situational compared to their S/ S+ counterparts typically include previously "meta" units that are now obsolete. Expect a much higher investment curve to get similar performance.
  • B - These units are rarely effective and will require far more work to clear content.
  • C - They exist.
  • D - They don't.
Ratings explained - Raids
  • S+ - Powerful, versatile units that have an insane damage output regardless of Element allowing them to dominate in most Raids or are Universal Supports that can be used in any Raid. (Healer - Greatly Increases Damage)
  • S - Strong units that are often the second choice. They possess impactful damage regardless of Element while excelling in selected few along with Supports that can be highly effective (Healer - Increases DMG).
  • A - Units that have decent DPS in general but can be BiS in certain Elements or have acceptable supportive capability but are secondary to their big sisters in the S rank (Healer - Causes some Damage loss).
  • B - Units that are waiting for that one Raid. Highly specific units that are used when the right time and situation comes. However, in other scenarios, these units will falter (Healer - Causes sizable Damage loss).
  • C - They Exist (Healer - Causes significant Damage loss).
  • D - They Don't.
Ratings explained - PvP
  • S+ - Meta Defining, staple of all PvP rosters. You can say that you are bricked if you don't have one of them. Queens of PvP.
  • S - These units have strong overall performance, and some of them occupy a certain niche where no other units can replace them.
  • A - Units from this tier and below are starting to show weakness when used in PvP. Either they require a specific setup, demand high investments, or are easily counterable.
  • B - These units have average performance but are nowhere near impactful as units above them.
  • C - They have niche uses if at all.
  • D - Just Don't.
Ratings explained - Brawl
  • S+ - Contributes greatly to a high kill count, typically excels across multiple Islands.
  • S - Units that are main contributors to their teams typically excel in 1 island. May outperform S+ depending on the island.
  • A - Strong replacements for S/ S+ within specific islands may need more investment to get similar results.
  • B - Generally good for Brawl, but much harder to use because they do not fit well into existing Island metas.
  • C - All high-frame animation bozos go here.
  • D - Using them in Brawl in all circumstances is a kickable offense in any guild.

Additional Consideration for Brawl Tierlist

  • Animations - Units with faster basic attack/ active skill animations and/ or longer active skill cooldowns are highly valued in Brawl.
  • Map Gimmicks - Each Brawl Map has its own unique gimmick, allowing certain units to shine within each of their respective meta.
  • No access to Ultimate - Except for several units, Ultimate skills are usually a massive time loss. Every Ultimate used to clear the wave could use up the time taken to clear multiple waves with Auto Attacks / Active Skills.
  • Back-to-back waves - Unless it's a passive effect or Aura, Debuffs have much lower values here, as it will only apply to one wave.
  • Investment - as the mobs constantly grow stronger over time, specific units drop massively in value if they are suddenly unable to quickly clear waves. There is some degree of investment noted in the formation of this tier list.

Karishara and Rita [Maid] added.

Brawl Tier List Added

  • Lohengrin - with zero delay on her ult, Lohengrin is an exception to the no-ultimates ruling. The other exceptions, Kay and Enya also do not have delays in their ultimate but have issues that need to be resolved.
  • Summer Merry, Ran, Isabel at A/ S tier - Mainly for their performance on Cow Map, which increases the cooldown of Active skills when mobs are defeated. This means they can never cast their long cooldown actives and can become viable for that reason.
  • Galahad at S tier - The goat and cow mobs debuff the party with a Passive Skill Damage reduction when they are hit, which constantly triggers Galahad's Parrying active and makes her a strong DPS contributor for these maps.

Raids Tier List Changes:

  • Estheria (Raid, Debuffer) - S to S+ - Following her update, Estheria is a very strong candidate as a debuffer for several raids. While she is not necessarily the best option for some of these raids, her newfound versatility has pushed her up a tier.
  • Morgan Le Fay - No change for now - The damage inflation has reached new heights and her Mark Damage, once flaunted as the crowning jewel of the new meta, is slowly starting to reach its limit ahead of schedule for heavy spenders. We are paying attention to this phenomenon and will update further once we have more data.

PvE Tier List (Early/ Late) Changes:

  • We are combining the tier lists into a singular PvE tier as the lines between Early and Late game grow increasingly blurred. We will be operating off the Late game tier list so please note the following changes:
    • Lancelot (DPS/ Tank S to A) - With newer, less investment heavy options for carries coming into the meta, Lancelot has dwindled in usage rates. We have adjusted her rating to reflect her current state in the meta.
    • Tiamat (DPS S to A) - Tiamat has been out of the meta for a while with usage rates to match. She is still worth picking up for her Card and her global training passive, but is relatively low priority otherwise. Her rating reflects the state of current meta.
    • Ria (Support - A to S) - Ria's kit has come back into fashion like it is 2025. With strong attack scaling DPSes to support, Ria has featured in some particularly difficult boss levels designed to content creep the existing shield heavy meta.
    • Isabel (Tank - A to S) - The meme dream of the Ranger tank continues. 50 hitcount immunity is very good for boss battles, and her kit (which reduces outgoing enemy damage and gives party hitcount immunity) makes it easier for the party to tank hits.
    • Percival (Tank - A to S) - Percival has always been a good defensive tank, only lacking the decisive offensive bite. We do think she is worth looking into for her party wide shields and prevalence in PvP situations, which more or less translates well over into the PvE meta.
    • Kay (Tank - S to A) - Kay is a mainstay in earlier game maps, but falls off in the late game thanks to her dated kit which tries to strike a balance between DPS and Tank. Without any other way to improve party tankiness aside from face tanking hits, we have decided to adjust her rating in favor of other utility heavy tanks.
    • Circe (C to B) - basically a slightly worse tristan, but she has seen some use as a niche pick in some comps and we are keeping an eye on her.
    • Lilith (C to B) - Lilith's ASPD reduction Aura has been key to some niche clears, and her own personal damage is quite solid after it has a chance to ramp.

Raids Tier List Changes:

  • Yumi (DPS) - A -> S- Although very reliant on having Merlin as her enabler, She has shown usage on at least 3 Raids so far not including the current Star Rein. Her powerful kit that relies strongly on Freeze makes her a worthy addition for Raids as long as you can manage to slot in Merlin with her.
  • Tiamat (DPS) - S -> A - Tiamat continues to see less usage as more and more selfish DPS characters gets released that can seemingly outshine her in every step of the way.
  • Lohengrin (DPS) A -> S - Although the Knights meta hasn't exactly been doing well recently, Her recent buffs has made her equal to Palamedes in terms of damage contribution for Raids while not having to rely on other crowd-controls.

Character Rating Adjustments:

PVP

  • Lisa (DPS) - A to S- Following a month, we've decided to bring Lisa's rating up to bring her in line with other DPSes. Lisa's damage output paired with Morgana Dispel can wipe out enemies with the right setup.

PvE (Early/ Late)

  • Lisa (DPS) - A to S - Bringing her rating up to reflect updates in the meta/ balance patch.
  • Lohen (DPS) - A to S - Balance Patch has brought Lohen to roughly Palamedes damage output, while still being on a safer position - this change is meant to reflect this.
  • Cristina (Support) (Late) - A to S - Brought up to reflect her changes from balance patch.

Raids

  • Ria (Support/ Healer) - A to S - Ria has jumped up in popularity lately as another healer/ buffer that works well with the current dominant archer comps. This change is to reflect that.
  • Dian (Healer) - S+ to S - It is currently a Wizard/ Archer/ Lueira Hybrid dominated meta, and this change reflects this, with little to no showings from Dian in the past 2 to 3 months. Will go back if a strong DPS knight shows up.

Yumi Added to the tier list.

Asuka, Hikage Added to the tier list.

Isabel, Cristina Ratings updated as per Balance Patch.

Character Rating Adjustments:

PVP

  • Palamedes (DPS) - S+ to S - with Lueira and MLF bringing up the DPS, Pala has dropped off in priority for all the required effort needed to keep her alive.
  • Claire (Support) - S+ to S - Despite Claire climbing back to prominence with the introduction of MLF, the nerf on recovery has diminished her importance and turned her into more of a defensive pivot than a determinant game changer.
  • Lilith (Support) - S+ to S - Lilith's now more of a walking speed control stat stick and does little else to affect the game. She and Claire are basically interchangeable in that regard in the current MLF meta.
  • Dian and Erin (Support)- S+ to S - This is to set a gap between those 2 and Percival, who not only has 2 shields, but can cast her first one (Dian also can do that but has a fairly lackluster ult in the PvP context) quite quickly to mitigate incoming damage in this sped up MLF meta.
  • Morgana (DPS) - C to S - The dominance of shield meta has brought forward some unlikely competition - Morgana's dispel can remove a lot of defensive and offensive potential with her spammable 8 second actives. She is still squishy but with proper gearing and protection, may be the key factor to breaking some of the more dominant meta comps.
  • Lisa (DPS) - B to A - Meet the new Lancelot. She is much squishier and does need Morgana to enable her, but her ultimate is one of the fastest to cast and deals a ton of damage.

PVE

  • Merlin (PvE Early - Support) - S+ to S - NEO Bedi exists and does more (aside from DEF shred) than just CC and Crit Chance.
  • Dian (PvE Early/ Late - Support) - S+ to S - Pala dropping in priority for newer players = Dian dropping alongside her. Will go back up again if a strong knight dps shows up.

Raids

  • Palamedes (DPS) - S+ to S - With changes to Raid adding several CC immune bosses and the dominance of MLF + Lueira comps, Palamedes fell off pretty hard, having only some degree of representation in the past month (Magic Resistant MLF Raid).
  • Estheria (Support) - S+ to S - Estheria has always risen and fallen with the tides. With Lueira being so dominant right now, there has been lesser need for Estheria's wizard associated effects. Don't worry, she will be back. Probably.
  • Galahad (Tank) - S to S+ - with MLF's release, Galahad has jumped back into the fray as a top tier tank with buffing capability and cheese potential. This position is however being threatened by the presence of Lueira, who favors Belsey and Erin more as tanks for that role. Should still be pretty active for the time being at least.
  • Lisa (DPS) - A to S+ - Lisa's balance patch brings her DPS contribution to close to/ exceeding Nesha's output, allowing her to stand in as a DPS in several raids. Read our updated Review for the full story.

Nesha Added to the tier list.

31/Jan/2026

Character Rating Adjustments:

  • Lancelot (Tank/ DPS PvP and PvE) - S+ to S - while she's still quite strong, a lot of the newer releases have diminished her value considerably. With the required starting investment needed for her to shine, it's hard to recommend her in her current state.
  • Eva (DPS - Raid) - S+ to S/ Eva (DPS - PvE) - S to A - Newer releases having better Damage output than her. Ran being out of the meta has also lowered the need for constant shock application. Without other forms of utility, she has far lesser showings than previously. This change is meant to reflect this.
  • Ran (DPS - Raid) - S+ to S - Ran was previously dethroned by Palamedes just 2 weeks after her damage patch. While her utility is still very good, she has far lesser showings in recent comps and was adjusted in response to this.
  • Lua (DPS - Raid) - S to A - Lua used to have showings in the Kraken raid, but fell off in favor of Eva. With zero showings since then, and no showings in the new season, we decided to lower her rating accordingly.
  • Vivien (DPS - Raid) - S to A - Similar to Lua's situation, where her output started to fall behind newer comps. With zero showings since then, we decided to lower her rating accordingly.
  • Lohengrin (DPS - Raid/ PvE) - S to A - Similar to Lua's situation, where her output started to fall behind newer comps. With zero showings since then, we decided to lower her rating accordingly.
  • Anessa (DPS - Raid) - S to A - Anessa used to have a niche where her high attack speed could shred the immunity hitcount of the Cowqueen Raid. With the changes to the raid line up in Season 2, there is little need for this. She will make a showing if the Stars align (in Star Reincarnation), but for now, yeah she's dropping.
  • Lisa (DPS - Raid) - A to S - this one is shakey, but thanks to Failnaught, Lisa is still relevant for the Chimera raid, who has 200% Crit Res! who woulda thunk.
  • Kay (Tank - PvP) - S+ to A - Although she still has her powerful 2nd life, she does very little to actually make use of that. This rating drop reflects this.

Misc. changes - with zero showings up until now, in the spirit of the New Year, we decided to do a bit of spring cleaning of our own~

  • Vivien (DPS - PvP) - A to B
  • Lua (DPS - PvP) - A to B
  • Tristan (Support - PvP) - A to B
  • Ria (Support - PvP) - A to B
  • Lisa (DPS - PvP) - A to B
24/Jan/2026

Lueira Added to the tier list.

13/Jan/2026

Character Rating Adjustments:

  • Estheria (Support) - PVE Late: A -> S | Raids: A -> S+ - Morgan le Fay’s release breathed new life into Estheria’s relevance. With her powerful Magic ATK passive that boosts MLF’s abilities and her reliable fear debuff for crowd control, she proves to be an excellent partner for MLF.
12/Jan/2026

Lilith added in Support Role:

  • Lilith - Support: PVE Early/Late: C | Raids: C | PVP: S+ - Lilith has been a core part of some top teams for a while, but her use case has been limited since she mainly counters offensive teams by reducing the enemy team's ASPD. With MLF's release, however, Lilith has become an even stronger option for winning the ASPD battle and being the first to activate NEO skills. Her role is similar to Claire's but achieved differently. Claire counter-stuns Morg-NEO teams, while Lilith lowers their ASPD to secure the advantage.
09/Jan/2026

Morgan Le Fay Added to the tier list.

Character Rating Adjustments:

  • Claire - Support (PVP): A -> S+ With Morgan/NEO/Pala Teams being prevalent. Claire has returned to being a definite slot as a counter-stun tool to prevent quick wipes from Morgan le Fay's Passive.
  • Ria - Support (PVP): S > A
11/Dec/2025

Estheria Added to the tier list.

Character Rating Adjustments:

  • Palamedes - DPS (PVE Early+Late): A -> S
  • Palamedes - PVP: B -> S+ - She can wipe waves after waves with the right set up and team (Belsey+NEO). Making a lot of adventure stage be cleared faster. Just be prepared to invest on having two different gear sets for her, Tanky for PVE & PVP, DPS for Raids.
  • TiamatDPS (PVE Early+Late): S+ -> S - Continues to be less relevant for even Adventure clears. She can still do her job fine but having Belsey and Lancelot in Adventure just makes her completely irrelevant in most cases.
  • Cristina, Kay, Lisa, Lua, Ran, VivienDPS (PVE Early+Late): S -> A - Similar to Tiamat, these units no longer scale as effectively in current content. This adjustment better reflects their actual performance and aligns the tier list with their true power level.
17/Nov/2025

Palamedes Added to Tierlist

Raid Rating Watchlist (Changes we are considering given state of Meta ):

  • NEO.Bedivere(S+ to S) - Getting a 2nd wind thanks to Palamedes + Sagittarius weapon release, but her offensive buffs (Crit Chance increase) doesn't necessarily increase score ceilings (just reroll more lul).
  • Eva(S+ to S) - Ran is still insanely good so right now it's still a KIV because Eva is Ran's current best enabler on top of having good personal damage.
  • Raid Rating Adjustments:

    • Galahad(S+ to S) - Currently eyeballing for several reasons - Blurring of Archer/ Wizard vs Knight division for comps (ie. Eva + Ran; Anessa + Summer Merry) + not as many Archer/Wizards at high end raid. Many of the newer characters offer more impactful utilities (Shred, DMG amp). Also, not as many showings on newer higher ceiling comps due to recent releases being heavy Knight focus.
    • Lohengrin(S+ to S) - Dropping off in favor of DPSes offering additional utility on top of sheer damage.
    • Cow QueenSupport & Tank: S->S+ - With the release of Palamedes who benefits a lot on consistent application of Stuns, She has shown up to be a good support and tank to further improve your team's raid damage.
    • TiamatDPS: S+ -> S - Current Meta doesn't seem kind with Tiamat's kit. Her selfish nature has made her less picked over other DPS characters and the dominant Knights team meta in Raids doesn't have any place for her compared to how Eva can be slotted in both Wiz/Knight Teams.
    • CristinaSupport: A -> S - Despite already having a decent kit, she continues to get buffed. Her recent changes gives her a Crit Resist Reduction debuff along with having a good team-wide ATK%+ Passive makes her a good pick for Tiamat Raid teams and occassionally on Element Advantage Raids.
    • MerlinSupport: S+ -> S - She hasn't shown much use outside of the Crit Stacking team with Palamedes in Tiamat Raid. NEO Bedivere just does her job a lot better while providing survivability for the team.
    • Katrin, Lilith DPS: A -> B
    • Morgause DPS: B -> C
