All Character information about Skills, Passives, Dupes etc. has been translated from Chinese to English by us. We will update them with Official Translation as soon as it's available.

All Skill Values are shown at Level 10 for Characters as the majority of the players will be using their characters with said levels. Said values do not include additional bonuses from outside sources such as Mental Images. Also, characters do not have 1 More, Basic Attack and Gun skills listed as the latter two are barely used, and 1 More is a generic follow-up primarily used to down enemies weak to certain elements.

Character Function and Summary

Tropical Closer is a Bless Sweeper who spends HP for bonus Bless damage on her skills.

She can use her strongest Skill on turn 1. This is significantly better for a Sweeper as removing enemies from the board quicker is a lot better in AoE fights.

The gameplan is to receive healing 5 times to gain Tropical Heart, which allows Tropical Closer to use Skill 3 without it going into a 1 turn cooldown, making you able to use it again the following turn.

Her teams don't run many debuffs, making her even better against mobs as you don't have to keep reapplying debuffs to new mobs.

While her Skills scales with Attack, she also wants HP, which gets converted into Attack up to 16000 HP.

With the new balance changes to the Global version, Tropical Closer’s main limitation of hardlocking a Healer or she can’t unlock her Skill 3 is no longer present. She still likes to receive healing and plays better with having a healer on the team, but it is no longer a need but a bonus, drastically increasing her teambuilding options and damage ceiling.

Character Synergies

  • Marian - Marian is a Healer that can also increase allies’ max HP, both are great for Tropical Closer.

  • Chord - Chord can provide healing from her Talent and give Tropical Closer more HIGHLIGHT.

Important Awareness / Weapon Values

  • Awareness 1: Besides providing both Crit Rate and Crit Damage for more damage, this also makes it way easier for her to gain Tropical Heart in a team with little healing, giving her even more teambuilding options.

  • Awareness 6: You can now use her strongest skill every turn.

  • Weapon: Provides increased Bless Damage, Crit Damage and Skill Damage. Pull if you want to increase your damage.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Deals quick and consistent damage, can even be used as a Single-Target DPS.

  • Her teams have great survivability as she has high HP and likes to run a healer.

Cons

  • At low Awareness she prefers running a healer in a team instead of 2 support to keep up with her skill HP cost and make gaining Tropical Heart easier. Could still get away with not running a healer but it will take more work.

Teams

Best Teams
Tropical Closer + Chord + Marian + Wind

Tropical Closer can get additional Skill 3 usage and more max HP with Marian on the team. As Tropical Closer’s HIGHLIGHT will heal herself, Chord giving Tropical Closer more HIGHLIGHT means she can also work towards gaining Tropical Heart. Because Wonder is mostly using buffs, Wind can provide Defense Down which the team lacks, she can also provide healing from her Skill 3.

  • Best Wonder Personas:

    • Koumokuten - Attack Up, Damage Up, must use as starter

    • Dionysus - Critical Rate, Critical Damage

    • Surt - Defense Down

    • Dominion - Attack Up, Damage Up

  • Wonder Dagger - Glimmer

Tropical Closer + Chord + Leon + Wind

This team uses a specific strategy to manipulate Chord's Talent 2 targeting. By having Leon use his Skill 2 to lower an ally's HP and then provide a delayed heal, this makes it very likely that Tropical Closer becomes the lowest HP ally, which makes Chord's Talent 2 always target her, accelerating  Tropical Heart gain. While this setup can achieve additional use of Tropical Closer's Skill 3, similar to a team with Marian, this requires more precise execution.
