Character Function and Summary
Sepia is a Single Target DPS that gains different Verse stacks based on the skill used. He will activate Resonance and spend 14 stacks of Verse to deal Follow-Up Attack with Curse damage to the last foe he targeted.
While Sepia looks complex with how many different stacks he can generate, he’s actually very straightforward as he is mostly played as a Damage Over Time DPS that focuses on his Verse of Hate stacks from his Skill 1.
In the ideal scenario Sepia can inflict 20+ Curse stacks and then Wonder can trigger all the Curse stacks once with his Persona Pazuzu, potentially dealing 40+% foes’ Max HP damage in 1 turn.
Character Synergies
Riddle: Riddle gains stacks when allies attack and Sepia can multi-hit. He also plays well with Damage Over Time as that damage type mostly scales with Damage Bonus.
Moko.S (CN only): Sepia’s Curse stacks have very low base chance and Moko.S can provide a huge Effect Hit Rate buff to help with consistency. She can also deal damage and provides healing from her Follow-Up Attack to help with Sepia’s stack gain and team survivability.

As each Curse stack is treated as 1% foes’ Max HP Almighty damage. Accordingly you can cheese many fights using the Sepia + Wonder Pazuzu combo.
Cons
The chance to inflict Curse stacks are way too low without Effect Hit Rate support.
Many endgame foes in CN now have a Percentage Damage Resist, neutering the effectiveness of Damage Over Time that deals Max HP damage.
