Raid Overview
Raids are designed for 20-person parties, which are typically composed of four standard 5-person groups. Once players have sufficient gear, it's common to see "Low Man" runs, where the raid is completed with 12 people instead of the full 20.
The parties are often divided as follows, with the DPS taking all the remaining slots:
| Low Man | Normal / Hard | Nightmare |
|---|---|---|
| 12 People | 20 People | 20 People |
| 2 Tanks | 2 / 3 Tanks | 3 / 4 Tanks |
| 2 Healers | 4 Healers | 4 Healers |
Dragon Shackles: Rin-Izcorgicky (Ice Dragon) Raid Guide
The first in a series of three, the Ice Dragon Raid, where Players fight against Rin-Izcorgicky, is the introductory high-level encounter. It serves as a stepping stone for players into the true endgame of BP:SR.
The challenge in this fight comes from players’ individual responsibility to resolve mechanics. When disengaging from the boss is not necessary, the focus will be on safe positioning and consistent damage output.
Players will have 3 revives in the Normal Mode, 1 revive in Hard Mode, and 0 in Nightmare Mode. The Airona Imagine can revive players without affecting your revive limit or costing any revival beans.
Loot
| Difficulty | Ability Score Needed | Drops | Gear Rarities | Item Lvl |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | 12710 | Runic Alloy Shards, Throne (Gold), Regorge Stones | Epic Modules + Legendary Gear | 60 |
| Difficult | 16140 | Runic Alloy Shards, Throne (Gold), Regorge Stones | Epic Modules + Legendary Gear | 60 |
| Nightmare | 22300 | Void Runic Alloy Shards, Throne ( Pure Gold), Regorge Stones, Glinting Stellar Core | Legendary Modules + Legendary Gear | 80 |
Note: Nightmare Raids also have a chance to drop a tradeable chest containing Throne (Pure Gold) or a Glinting Stellar Core.
Note: The gear that drops from the raid is regular Legendary gear; the raid gear can only be obtained by exchanging Runic Alloy Shards at Cassie, the Floating Island Envoy.
Phase 1
The fight against Rin-Izcorgicky kicks off on a large icy platform. The environment itself is hostile, featuring harsh weather conditions, cannons along the edges, and Fire Drakes, adding an extra variable to the encounter.
Weather Affects

The boss can switch between the following 4 weather effects during the fight.
- Sunny
- Rainy
- Snowy (Stand near each other)
- Blizzard (Stand near each other)
Hard +: In the hard version of the raid, there are only three kinds of weather changes.
- Sunny: This is benign, not much happening.
- Blizzard: Requires 2 or more players to stay near each other to avoid being frozen.
- Cold Night: The in-game environment will become night, and 3 or more players will need to stay near each other to avoid being frozen.
Touch of Frost

Players accumulate stacks throughout the entire fight. At 20 stacks, you will be frozen. Players are able to break you free from the ice if you get frozen. The speed at which Touch of Ice is applied to players depends on the weather pattern present at any given time. If you are about to be frozen, look for fire puddles on the ground! This will cleanse your Touch of Frost stacks.
Fire Dragon Raid

The fire dragon will hang out along the sides of the arena and spit fireballs that turn into flame puddles.
Drake Cannons

These are stationed along the outer ring of the arena. Interacting with these turrets will attack the Fire Dragons hovering outside of the arena. It takes 3 hits for the Fire Dragons to disappear. Drake Cannons cannot be used if they are burning or frozen, so be sure to keep raid mechanics away from the cannons.
Gunpowder Bucket

After destroying these, they will explode and leave behind a flame puddle. Be sure to utilize these if there isn’t another option for a flame puddle.
Frost Smash

A tank buster that is placed in front of the dragon that players need to step into and soak. If this is not soaked by at least 1 tank, then it will deal huge AoE damage instead.
Frost Impact

The dragon will aim a line AoE at the tank that is holding aggro and fire a laser beam at them. This is a minor tank buster; be sure to use some mitigation on it.
Avalanche

Rin-Izcorgicky will roar and summon a red circle on 2 players in the raid. These players will get tracing markers on them that drop avalanches on top of their position. When you are chosen for this mechanic, be sure to avoid the Drake Cannons and other players!
Hard +: 4 Players will receive the Avalanche markers instead of just 2.
Gunpowder Bucket
Rin-Izcorgicky will coil up his tail and then execute a spin that deals damage to everyone and increases their Touch of Frost stacks.
Hard +: Getting hit by this ability will instantly freeze you if you are not standing in a flame puddle as it goes off. Be sure to save your Phantom Dash, or position near a flame puddle!
Glacier Slam
A large AoE indicator will cover 80% of the arena. Dodge out of this area or risk death!
Phase Transition
Rin-Izcorgicky retreats to a far platform, desperately attempting to shake the party. The chase is on; players must traverse the newly formed ice bridge in pursuit of the dragon to finish the fight!
Frozen Spear

The boss will fly off into the distance, leaving behind an ice bridge for us to pursue it. At the end of the bridge, after traversing around tornadoes and keeping warm, there’s a Frozen Spear. This will need to be destroyed to progress past the bridge and towards the dragon.
Hard +: There are 2 spears, one on each side of the bridge. The party will need to split up and proceed to destroy both spears at the end of the bridge.
Blizzard Weather

The bridge defaults to Blizzard weather, and during this weather condition, we need to stay near our teammates. If a player falls too far behind their teammates, they will get a warning that they are at risk of becoming frozen in two ways. The first way is via the message that shows up on your screen, and the second way is via the orange circle that seems like an AoE damage circle.
Phase 2
Freed from its icy prison, the dragon will fight with a desperate fury, holding nothing back in a final attempt to survive. We'll have to rely on teamwork to withstand the freezing cold and take it down.
Frost Shield
Phase 2 begins when players reach the dragon after crossing the bridge. Rin-Izcorgicky will be encased in a Frost Shield that players will need to break. While the dragon is encased, it will be summoning multiple AoEs at a time that can either be circles or donuts. Be sure to check which one it is and dodge in or out!
Zero-Degree Snowfield

Some players will receive a stack marker. After the stack goes off, the person with the marker will be linked to the Snow Core. This will rapidly increase Touch of Ice stacks while in range of it. When the connection is severed, the previously tethered players will take damage. Have these players spread away from the rest of the party and deal with the mechanic on the edge of the arena.
Frost Dive
A red line telegraph will appear from one side of the arena to the other. A clone of Rin-Izcorgicky will then dive through the area, dealing damage and leaving a frozen path in its wake. Stepping onto this newly formed hazard will increase the rate at which you gain Touch of Frost stacks.
