List of Classes
Beat Performer
Support
Attribute: Intellect
Description: Excels in long-range combat, using a Guitar as a weapon. Heals while attacking, excels in granting Allies buffs, and possess excellent support capabilities.
Specs
Dissonance Spec: Dissonance’s primary mechanic is healing a portion of all damage dealt, allowing it to fulfill the role of sustain while also bringing tremendous damage buffs to the group. If you want to compete with damage dealers for rank 1 while also offering crazy support, Dissonance is a top choice.
- Difficulty:
Concerto Spec: Concerto is Beat Performers' dedicated healing spec that has one of the most powerful party-wide buffs in the game. Concerto Spec can also uniquely deploy a speaker capable of duplicating all healing you use - timing and positioning this speaker are key to success. However, in the early game without abundant stats, this is incredibly difficult to do well.
- Difficulty:
Frost Mage
DPS
Attribute: Intellect
Description: Wields a Frost Staff, excelling in long-range combat. Commands the power of ice to deliver wide-area DMG and formidable control.
Specs
Icicle Spec: Icicle is a sustained damage spec focused on building and spending Frost Crystals - a resource that boosts the damage of abilities and activates buffs when consumed.
- Difficulty:
Frostbeam Spec: Frostbeam is more of a burst damage spec, focused on setting up to get as impactful Frostbeams as possible. It manages Ice Energy to do this, utilizing skills that restore and slow the depletion of this resource.
- Difficulty:
Heavy Guardian
Tank
Attribute: Strength
Description: Wields a Guardblade, excelling in close-range combat. Channels the power of stone to form a protective shell, offering exceptional defense and control.
Specs
Earthfort Spec: Earthfort's survivability and mitigation are primarily tied to its shields, with many of its strongest talents only working while you have one. Earthfort also gains access to near-permanent Super Armor and despite having minimal heals, Earthfort's shields allow it to handle its own survival competently, even with minimal assistance.
- Difficulty:
Block Spec: If what you want is raw damage mitigation without too much else, Block is the go-to choice when tanking. Block spec is unique in that it gains 100% block for free almost permanently. Block also gains access to a second layer of block, “Lucky Block”, for further protection and mitigation, incentivising building Luck considerably.
- Difficulty:
Marksman
DPS
Attribute: Agility
Description: Wields a bow, excelling in long-range combat. Partners with animal companions to unleash wide-area attacks.
Specs
Wildpack Spec: Spec dedicated to controlling multiple pets at once, focusing on Wild Wolves. It deals minimal damage with its own attacks but uses them to command its pets instead. Wildpack is one of the most auto-friendly specs in the game, gains heaps of free stats, and is therefore considered one of the easiest and best beginner classes.
- Difficulty:
Falconry Spec: Falconry trades out the Wild Wolf for a trusty Falcon who only attacks when you deal Crit DMG with your class abilities. Because of this, Falconry is all about maximizing Crit and hits per second to ensure our feathered friend is constantly attacking. It is incredibly simple to play and mostly auto-friendly.
- Difficulty:
Shield Knight
Tank
Attribute: Strength
Description: Wields a Sword and Shield, excelling in close-range combat. Wears radiant lightforged armor, boasting defense and self-healing.
Specs
Recovery Spec: Recovery Shield Knight is dedicated to self-sustain while also having a very strong amount of shielding capabilities. Recovery has limited options when it comes to increasing its total tankiness in the face of large hits, but it is one of the best at immediately recovering from them with healing.
- Difficulty:
Shield Spec: Shield… Shield Knight entirely revolves around the Lightforged Barrier passive and abilities that generate and consume it. Lightforged barrier can stack many times and increases max HP with every stack. Shield Shield Knight has good healing but can also survive big hits thanks to its superior max life and shield size.
- Difficulty:
Stormblade
DPS
Attribute: Agility
Description: Wields a Reaper Scythe, excelling in close-range combat. Switches seamlessly between scyte and longsword forms, delivering precise area strikes.
Specs
Iaido Slash Spec: Iaido Slash is a fast-paced spec that is ping-sensitive and relies on its cooldown Volt Surge to deal the majority of its damage. The spec uses a builder-spender playstyle focused on its resource Thunder Sigils, which you’ll generate and then consume on “spenders” to deal damage.
- Difficulty:
Moonstrike Spec: Revolves around generating, spending, and managing Stormblade’s energy mechanic (Blade Intent) to chain together powerful sequences of expertise skills in order to trigger an arsenal of effects. Moonstrike is a stat-hungry spec that relies on having high Haste and Luck to reach its full potential.
- Difficulty:
Verdant Oracle
Support
Attribute: Intellect
Description: Wields a Nature Ring, excelling in long-range healing. Channels the verdant essence of the forest to deliver exceptional healing and buffs.
Specs
Smite Spec: Smite’s strength is the ability to output damage, healing, and shielding all at the same time, thanks to a portion of all damage it deals being converted into healing. While their healing output is on the lower side, Smite is the sustain with the strongest team-wide shielding and cleansing abilities. While Smite is challenging to play in small groups, it definitely has a strong position in larger ones.
- Difficulty:
Lifebind Spec: If maximum healing output, incredible team-wide defensive cooldowns, and easy gameplay are what you’re after, Lifebind Spec should definitely be at the top of your list. Lifebind’s gameplay is incredibly simple and revolves entirely around the Nourish ability which applies stacking Heal over Time effect to nearby lies - thanks to this, Lifebind rockets to the top of total healing output while also being one of the easiest sustains to play.
- Difficulty:
Wind Knight
DPS
Attribute: Strength
Description: Excels in close-range combat, using a Lance as a weapon. Agile and fast, possessing excellent small area attack capabilities.
Specs
Vanguard Spec: Vanguard is Wind Knight's grounded spec and is the button-masher of BP:SR, focusing on activating numerous “proc” based abilities and ensuring they are used correctly. Vanguard has a lot to manage and follows more of a priority list than traditional rotation, but it is never boring to play.
- Difficulty:
Skyward Spec: Skyward is Wind Knight’s aerial spec focused on executing massive jumps and dives in order to do damage. This spec focuses on precise combos, effective cooldown management, and resource utilization. It can be punishing when mistakes are made.
