Overview

The Trading Center is Blue Protocol: Star Resonance’s version of an Auction House, where players can buy and sell items with each other. It is most easily accessible via the “Trading Center” icon you can find in your Menu.

As there is no direct player-to-player trading in Blue Protocol, this is the main way to get items to or from other players. With that said, not everything in the game is tradeable and it’s important to know which are and aren’t if you intend to use the Trading Center effectively. Most items fall into three different categories: Never Tradeable, Sometimes Tradeable and Always Tradeable. Here is how most items fall within each category:

Never Tradeable

  • Emblem-related items (Seasonal Power System).

  • Follow: This category is your “shortcut” page that contains anything you’ve liked. To like an item in the Trading Center, just press the little heart icon on the right side. This is good for tracking items that are in high demand that you might be after!
  • Growth Items: Contains Arcane Seals, Advance Books, Starforge Crystals, Regorge Stones, Battle Imagine Wills, and Battle Imagine Materials.
  • Life Skills: Contains craftable and gatherable items from all 9 Life Skills.
  • Modules: Contains Epic and Legendary rarity of the 3 types of Modules.
  • Appearance: Contains SR and SSR items obtained from Wish (cosmetic gacha).

To purchase an item, simply navigate to the desired section, input your desired quantity and purchase! It’s important to note, however, that players may only purchase the lowest cost listed item. This is to prevent players from listing items at a specific price and then using that to signal to other players as a method of wealth transfer between accounts.

After an item is purchased from the Trading Center, it becomes trade-locked. This is to prevent players from flipping items on the market. Trade locked items have an asterisk icon in their top left displaying a cooldown on the item’s description. Consumables tend to have a trade lock of 7 days, while other items are longer (with the maximum being 30 days).

Selling Items

Just as there are buyers, there must also be sellers. By default, players may list up to 6 item types at a time, with each Listing lasting 24 hours before expiry. If you have an item you want to sell, here are the steps you’ll want to take to get it sold as well as a few tips.

Note

Expired auctions can easily be retrieved from the Trading Center interface ready to be listed again.

Setting a price

To sell an item, navigate to the Sell tab and select the item you wish to part with. Next, you’ll be asked to input Quantity and Sale Price.

  • Quantity: The first thing to decide is how many of the type of item you’re selling. Due to the limited number of slots available, it’s usually a good idea to maximize the quantity you intend to sell all at once instead of wasting slots selling the same type of item across multiple so plan accordingly.
  • Sale Price: Unlike most games, you’re not free to choose any Sale Price you want. Each item has a Sale Price Range, which you can choose from even if no other items are listed. Also, given that the cheapest item is always the one sold first, it generally makes sense to list close to, at, or below the current lowest Market Price unless the supply of the item is low or the item is incredibly rare.

After confirming both it’s time to list your item. Doing so will require a small deposit, which is only returned at the conclusion of the listing (you won't get it back if you cancel the listing) so make sure the quantity and sale price are correct or you’ll just be wasting valuable

Getting Paid

After an item sells successfully, it’s time to get paid, to do so simply navigate to the sell tab and click withdraw all. Doing so will return your deposit to you as well as your earnings from the sale minus a sales fee charged by the Trading Center. The Transaction Fee ranges between 5 - 30% depending on the item and its price and is deducted immediately out of the sale of the item.

Note

You only pay the fee when an item successfully sells.

Price Updates

With the basics out of the way there are a few other things to be aware of, especially if you plan to make the Trading Center a big part of your play. Sometimes when demand is exceptionally high or terribly low for an item the price range of that item may be adjusted to either curb or stimulate demand. When this occurs all currently listed items are returned to players along with a full refund of their deposit.

Tip

Immediately after these periods is often one of the best times to re-list your items at profitable prices that will sell quickly!

Publicization
Promo Image

Before certain items are able to be sold they must first be Publicized for a period of time first. Publicizing an item adds an additional step to its listing as it must first pass through a waiting period before becoming available for purchase. This waiting period is random but never longer than 60 minutes and is in place to prevent high value item sniping and direct transfer of items outside of what is intended between accounts. Items with this requirement will notify you before listing and are almost always either high value items or items that are being listed into a market with no or few other listings.

Monthly Card Benefits

In addition to everything else the Monthly Card does, it also offers additional benefits within the Trading Center. These Benefits include:

  • 2 additional Trading Slots, for a total of 8.
  • Free Trading deposit, meaning you can unlist and relist things as often as you’d like.
  • A 20% reduction in transaction fees.

Consignment

In addition to selling and buying items the Trading Center can also be used to exchange
