Review
Hey, at least Prika’s review is early, right!?
We have an important announcement to make: Prika is the cutest idol of them all!
The final member of T.T. Star is here—Prika, a Water B2 Supporter, is an earnest offensive buffer and healer who can fit any team. She can be used standalone, but she's best used together with her bandmate
Mint . Coupling them will grant additional buffs and permanent healing that exceed everything we have seen before. Because of that, we will evaluate her performance as a duo, but we will also touch on her solo aspect a bit.
In Bossing, Pri-Mint have established themselves as the best duo in the game. Aside from a long list of buffs that can be utilized by every unit in the game, Prika gives Projectile Explosion DMG and Pierce DMG, which complement both recent & old meta DPS really well. Anis: Star, NeonVE, Alice, Red Hood, RRH, and other Pierce/Explosive/Charge users can all benefit from them to varying degrees. While Pri-Mint befit them best, it doesn't mean they can't be used without them. In fact, as generic buffers, Pri-Mint are already better than Sea Maids and are only superseded by Nayuta/Crown + PrivT/MastM/SElegg. With the potential to surpass Crown's in advantageous situations, they're undoubtedly meta in UR & SR.
Prika’s only weakness is that she is bound as a duo to be considered meta. This means you cannot use overpowered off-burst supports like SElegg for Water-weak or XMaiden for Electric-weak. Pri-Mint also don’t have a shield. While Healing is extremely useful and some bosses require it, there are also bosses, and also one-shot mobs in campaign, only countered by the use of shields. Ultra in Anomaly Interception is an example of this. Their having two different elements is also a problem in Anomaly Interception, where the boss deals extra damage to disadvantageous elements. Prika cannot safely survive against Ultra, whereas Mint cannot survive against Indivilia unless you perform the P1 team cover tech. It is an advantage in Solo Raids, though, as they can help cover two element QTEs.
For all competitive players, she is definitely a must pull, as long as you can guarantee obtaining Mint. Compared to her duo performance, Prika’s solo performance as a buffer is much worse, to the point that it guts any value in pulling her. Gauge your resources well and only commit if you are sure.
End-game players can use them in:
Solo Raid, in most if not all elements.
Union Raid, because they are technically the second/third best B2 in the game.
Other Bossing Content, such as Anomaly Interception, as alternatives to Crown.
Beginners can use them in:
Everything PvE, especially if you don’t have Crown (and either PrivT/MastM).
Even if you have Crown, Pri-Mint will still be valuable assets in Raid.
We have never said something like this before, but:
We also recommend mileaging them should you run out of gems, especially if you have already obtained one of them with gems.
If you have neither and don’t have any gems, skip both entirely. Don’t end up with just one of them.
We know 2% units aren’t the best to spend Gold Mileage on, but they are just good. That said, be careful, there might be stronger characters in the future. Summer is drawing near, and we might just get another Pilgrim.
Prika has a caster's ATK buff, so getting copies is reasonable. However, she is also a 2% unit, which means you can get her from Molds and Ordinary Recruit. With that said, we don’t recommend pulling dupes for F2Ps because there might be more vital characters in the future. If you insist on dupes, prioritize Mint’s dupes first as Mint grants a larger portion of caster’s ATK buff.
Don’t forget, a limited time collab is also rerunning alongside this idol duo. Eve and Raven are important Raid units for people who want to improve their Iron-weak Raid performance.
Whenever Prika releases a Full Charge, for the next 3s, all allies enjoy +20% of her base ATK, +13% Pierce Damage, and +20% Explosive Damage.
This activates even when Prika is off-burst, so it is independent of whether she is run solo or with Mint.
In PvP, this can allow for extra early pressure from your team, which is key to some comps, in particular TVesti's.
In PvE, this may accidentally deactivate when there are no targets to shoot at. You can manually Full Charge Prika to reactivate them earlier or maintain Full Burst status during Special QTEs.
Prika's Burst Skill grants her 25s of Performance status, which cannot be dispelled. When Performance is active, she:
Boosts everyone's Charge Damage by up to ▲25%, neat for Charge users such as RH and Alice.
Heals the entire team by 3.04% per second at max level, further buffed by S1's Healing Potency and S2's Max HP▲. In total, you can expect 5.472%/sec, the strongest non-lifesteal healing we've met so far.
The heal is so strong that it allows you to ignore enemy mechanics as long as they don't one-shot.
In PvP, Prika's healing may seem attractive, but in reality, the B2 slot is competitive, and there are better B2 Burst Skill effects. Prika also can't handle one-shot attacks alone.
When Prika is in Performance status from Burst Skill, and Mint triggers Sing Along via Burst Skill, special effects activate:
Prika's Performance status is extended by +21 seconds at the cost of increased cooldown, but this does not matter, as she only needs to Burst once.
Mint is forced to be in Singing status all the time. Her Dancing status will not activate. This allows her to continuously give offensive buffs.
Extra +25% Attack Damage is given to the team.
This means Prika Bursts once at the start of the battle, then Mint Bursts from the 2nd rotation onward.
The only skill active when Prika is run solo is her S1 and Burst but without the possibility of extension. Since she can still buff the team, albeit not as much as when Mint is in team, she is still an OK off-burst buffer. +20% caster’s ATK is not a lot, though, and she’s eclipsed by many off-burst buffers. Even Crust gives more than her!
Using Burst Skill to grant Charge Damage and Healing is also unideal because the offensive effect is weak, so you will lose the opportunity to Burst with a more impactful B2, costing damage. It is only reasonable for PvP where Heal can turn the tides.
This is Prika’s ideal application. She should not be separated from Mint. While Mint can perform solo, Prika can’t. As a duo, make sure to Burst Prika first to activate Performance, then use Mint’s Burst from the 2nd rotation onward.
Pri-Mint suffer from the same issue as Sea Maids in Campaign—that they need to ramp up to reach maximum potential. However, unlike them, their ramp-up is much shorter. Sea Maids only become effective after the second or third Full Burst, whereas Pri-Mint shine immediately at the start of the second Full Burst. Since the first Full Burst is not always the most important, Pri-Mint are perfectly usable.
Pri-Mint’s high ATK buff also helps with offsetting deficits. The difference between regular Crown setups and Idols’ is that Idols can buff all units at the same time like Nayuta does, whereas Crown only the one Bursting. Often, the Bursting unit is the one dealing damage, so in practice, Crown + off-burst such as Ada or MastM provide higher ATK in total. Another issue is that Pri-Mint need to be alive to be giving ATK buffs. This makes Pri-Mint less dependable overall, but they’re still a good choice.
Pri-Mint wielding RL and SR also allow them to generate burst gen for the team. While their burst gen is not the craziest, with good shot-spamming skills (despite temporarily losing Full Charge buffs), you can make a team that doesn’t have burst gen usable.
Compared to Crown and Nayuta, Pri-Mint unfortunately don’t fill any specific niche. We know Nayuta + Ada are OP against Farters, especially when paired with MoranTr. Crown has Shields that block most lethal attacks and Reload Speed that makes all DPS comfy. These are way too valuable to sacrifice. However, we believe Pri-Mint do enough to deserve SS. They’re still superior to all units in our A tier.
Pri-Mint are meta for Tetra Tower, upstaging BAde and Blanc (unless against Glasses due to Damage Taken being a good counter). Pair them with Anis: Star, one of their best beneficiaries, and enjoy smoother pushing. Add SAnis to hyperbuff regardless of her anti-synergy, or Alice and BMilk, who are also their best beneficiaries, as additional DPS.
This is Prika’s rating when used with Mint. As a duo, Pri-Mint offer an array of powerful buffs that work for everybody, alongside some that only work for units with Charge, Explosives, and Pierce. Based on testing, we discovered that:
As generic buffers, Pri-Mint often beat Sea Maids (if both DPS are equally strong), especially when buffing units with Explosives and Pierce, such as Anis: Star. However, Pri-Mint still fail to beat Crown + MMast/PrivT (or other elemental niches) variants. This makes them the second/third best B2 in game, enough to guarantee their relevance in UR/SR. Beginners can also use them as replacements in other game modes if they don’t have Crown or Nayuta.
Pri-Mint’s buffs max out from the 2nd Full Burst onward. That means your stronger DPS should ideally Burst second unless their attacks can be held (like SW’s Burst). Since you still want to Burst with them 7 times, you need 14 Full Burst cycles. This can be hard to achieve with old CDRs (ramp-up), so there is some limitation to whom you should pair them with.
Their lack of Reload Speed can be distressing, especially for newer players who don’t have Max Ammo OL. While Mint has a Max Ammo skill that can counteract this, it is nonetheless a weaker version. This effect is more apparent on units that rely a lot on uptime, such as MGs. Max Ammo also makes Mint anti-synergistic with SAnis and Privaty.
Their healing can be powerful against bosses that don’t have lethal attacks. For example, against Harvester AI or Ultra Museum, you can face-tank all the boss’s attacks and outlive their poison, improving the team’s uptime by eliminating the need to cover. However, against lethal attacks, such as those from Campaign Bosses, AnchorM’s Storage ability is more effective.
Their Full Charge buffs last 3s. When a boss goes off screen, these may without warning deactivate. Make sure to check the active buffs through the Pause screen regularly and practice manual Full-Charging during downtime to avoid losing buffs at critical times. Being in Full Burst while Special QTE arises can avert this too.
Pri-Mint’s traits also impose some restrictions on specific game modes:
In AI, bosses deal more damage against Nikkes of disadvantageous element. Since Mint is Iron and Prika is Water, this makes them challenging to run against at least two bosses—Ultra and Indivilia. There is no way to work around UItra’s mechanic because you need Shield to avoid taking damage, but against Indivilia, you can perform P1 team cover tech to mitigate her AoE damage in Phase 2. Check our Indivilia in our Guides section for more info.
In SR, Pri-Mint’s differing elements actually help. Beginners often reuse Nikkes with strong Neutral damage, such as Liberalio, SBS, Neon, and Cindy, to increase return on investments. Sometimes, your DPS will not have the correct element against a boss, resulting in the inability to break elemental QTEs. Pri-Mint being Water + Iron allow them to cover two elements.
Prika shouldn’t be used with Mint in PvP because you likely won’t reach the 2nd Full Burst. Even if you do, it doesn’t really boost your winning chances. A standalone Prika can be used in two ways:
Continuous Healer: So long as Prika remains alive after Bursting, she continuously heals the team by ~5.472% per second at max investments. Theoretically great for stall teams but impractical because the Bursting B2 slot is competitive and there are better options. B3 AoE are also too strong to be contained with only Healing. Damage Reduction is vital.
Instant Buffer: Prika gives ATK, Projectile Explosion DMG, and Pierce DMG immediately after launching one Full Charge. As with Mast, this allows for early pressure with units like TVesti. For this, Prika does not need to Burst.
As a support without damage, Prika does not need OL reroll. However, she needs the extra base ATK stat from gear levels. Therefore, OL and upgrade her Helmet, Gloves, and Vest. You can get all of them to Lv. 5 or only the Helmet as it gives the most stat.
If you insist on rerolling, get 1-2× Max Ammo for those cases where you need Prika to burst gen for the team, though this is not directly necessary. You can also reroll to pad her CP for Campaign/Tower purposes.
Ideal: 1-2× Max Ammo
Filler: -
Priority: 7
Note: As a support without damage, Prika does not need OL reroll. However, OL and upgrade gear that give ATK stat. 1× Max Ammo can be useful for when extra burst gen from her is needed.
Prika’s S1 and S2 considerably improve the team’s damage, and Burst Skill has the least offensive impact, but 7 is cheap for late-game players.
Skill 1: 7~10
Improves ATK, Pierce DMG, and Explosive DMG buff.
Improves HP potency, which is significant to her healing.
Influential in both PvE & PvP.
Skill 2: 7~10
Performance extension value is not affected.
Improves ATK DMG buff.
Main component does not activate in PvP.
It still boosts Max HP in PvP.
Burst Skill: 4~7
Improves Charge Damage and healing.
Charge Damage does not amplify damage much, but Alice, RH, Anis: Star, and other Charge units (that rely on BA damage) can feel a difference.
Heal is most impactful in PvP when Bursting.
Prika’s S1 buffs last for only 3s. Reloading without any Reload Speed buff is guaranteed to remove them. Use Resilience to mitigate this.
In PvP, you can use Vigor/Tempering to improve healing and survivability. We do not recommend Healing Cube because its effect is diluted by S1.
Prika’s S1 has caster’s ATK buff, which scales off base ATK stat. Doll increases base ATK stat equally for all classes. It is therefore imperative to upgrade Doll to SR 15 when possible but prioritize main units first and Mint (because her caster’s ATK% is higher). For a budget, you can leave Prika’s at SR 5.
Locks in Mint to Sing forever, forcing her to provide consistent, high-value buffs every Burst rotation instead of every other.
Provides amazing heals that can help the team survive through most damage dealt from bosses unless lethal.
Assists the team with decent buffs of the same type as Mint’s, as well as a cheeky but practically useless Charge Damage buff.
Only needs to Burst once, ideally the first burst, when paired with Mint.
Increases her own Burst cooldown when with Mint, preventing misclick accidents especially on AUTO.
Has Pierce, which helps immensely with burst gen against certain bosses or Campaign.
Tetra’s new best duo, which increases Wishlist value tremendously. Dominates Tetra Tower.
Instant buffs can be useful for PvP.
Needs Mint to be meta.
Increases her own Burst cooldown when with Mint. In cases where Mint dies, Prika will not be able to Burst instantly if a small push is needed.
Just a normal B2 with a 40s Burst cooldown when not with Mint. Weak off-burst potential.
Mint may not even need her sometimes against some bosses or in some Raid elements. We would never do this to you Prika </3

Notes
Prioritize S1 & S2 equally and aim for 10 in the long run. Beginners can upgrade Burst Skill to 4, veterans to 7. Between Mint and Prika, upgrade Mint first.
As a support without damage, Prika does not need OL reroll. However, OL and upgrade gear that give ATK stat. 1× Max Ammo can be useful for when extra burst gen from her is needed.

PVE Comment
She’s meta but not the most meta. Crown + MMast are better supports to prioritize SR 15 on. With only 25% caster’s ATK buff, she’s not as reliant on it as someone like Ada (60%), Tove (72%), and even Mint (45%).
PVP Priority
4/10
PVP Comment
This is her rating as an Instant Buffer. You are unlikely to use her in PvP as a Continuous Healer. B2 is very competitive, and there are better Burst Skills. Both require high base stat.

Happy Bomb Friends
Mode: Campaign || Element: All
This team is very straightforward: Using 3 RL to delete everything onscreen, while having a lot of buffs to support them doing so. Mi-ka's buffs are more suitable for RL in campaign than Snow White Heavy Arm but you can replace Neon with SWHA if you like
Neon can be replaced by Snow White Heavy Arm
We are Electric
Mode: Union / Solo Raids || Element: Electric
This team buffs 2 strongest RL in the game - Lap... nah those are Neon and Cinderella. The upside of this team is: It doesn't cost Crown, but the downside is - the explosion buff is actually kind of scam. Still, the other buffs are definitely strong enough to make this team work. You can replace Cinderella with Liberalio to create a full funnel Neon team instead, and putting Cinderella back with Isabel-Arcana
Cinderella can be replaced by Liberalio
