Ram's arrival as an SR is perhaps heartbreaking for her fans, but without her, the party would be incomplete.

Ram's Skill 1 is a showcase of her loyalty to her sister. Whenever she is paired with anyone from the same squad, her burst CD becomes 20 sec. She also reduces the attacked enemy's ATK constantly, helping your team survive in very specific cases.

Her Skill 2 increases her own MAX HP without restoring HP, which is unfortunate, but it synergizes well with her Burst Skill, fortifying the durability of her shield. There is a 5s downtime between triggers, so keep an eye on the timer. She also increases the DEF of two units with the lowest HP, which is imperceptible.

Lastly, Ram's Burst Skill provides the team with individual shields. Their HP scales with Ram's final MAX HP, but due to SR stats being inherently lower than SSR, it is not going to soak a lot of damage. What it can do well, however, is to absorb one-hit attacks that would have otherwise dealt massive damage. In this case, the shield's HP is unimportant! For example, Stormbringer's AoE Tornado can be safely ignored when the shields are up, preserving your cover and HP.

Did we say individual shields? Yes, we did. So, does she work with Naga? Technically, yes. If you somehow manage to own Naga but not Tia, you can consider using Ram. You still need to address the lack of CDR, though.

Note that Ram is a welfare unit given to all participants of the Re:Zero x Nikke Collaboration Event. She is unobtainable by other means, except through logging in and completing particular missions during the event.

Pros

  • Sniper Rifle guarantees ranged accuracy and has naturally higher burst gen when spammed.

  • Individual shields are extremely useful and rare.

  • Synergizes with Naga, which has had no suitable pair other than Tia due to the absence of 20s B1 individual shield skills.

  • Free welfare unit.

Cons

  • Does not provide offensive buffs.

  • 40s CD unless paired with Rem or Emilia.

  • Limited unit.

Ram doesn't really have anything in her kit that warrants the use of other than the generic damage increase cubes for an SR wielder.

Skill Investment

Here's the explanation for all the numbers and colors used in the guide:

  • 10/5/7 means upgrading Skill 1 to lvl 10, Skill 2 to lvl 5, and Burst Skill to lvl 7,
  • Yellow means the immediate investment when u get the unit. There are 3 reasons for this:
    • If the unit is Meta or High Priority, it will have a starting investment of more than 1/1/1 (such as 4/4/4) depending on what the unit provides.
    • If the unit is Medium or Low Priority, 1/1/1 will be mentioned, meaning no immediate investment is required, and you can invest in this character if you need to use it according to the priority listed.
    • If we deem that a unit does not have usable skills to be meta for any gamemode, no investment will be mentioned.
  • Blue means minimum investment to take advantage of the Nikke's skills. There are 2 reasons for this:
    • Sometimes, minimum investments are breakpoints such as for Noir or SAnis.
    • Sometimes, minimum investments are just the ideal way to progress to upgrade that unit, before moving on to Recommended and High.
  • Red means recommended investment for F2P players,
  • Purple means maximum recommended investment, in order to get the best out of the unit. You should only try to reach these investments if you have a surplus of Skill Books leftover.

More info:

  • The skill investment list below features a lot of Level 4 and 7 because they are easier to understand. Any higher levels will cost a new type of resource.
  • However, you may choose to upgrade to Level 5 if you need a stronger effect instead of 4, as the increase in Blue Manual cost from Level 4 to 5 is still low. The leap only starts from Level 6 onward.
  • There is also a leap from Level 3 to 4, so if you want to save a tiny bit of Blue Manuals, then leave at 3 instead of 4.

Priority explained:

  • Meta: Most Important Nikkes.
  • High: Good in various PvE content.
  • Medium: Good in at least one PvE content.
  • Low: Can perform well but not as good as other units / Situationally Meta / Old Meta
  • Very Low: Niche usage / Tribe Tower Units
  • Late Game: These nikkes need investments to reach their potential but are expensive to build. They should be invested after clearing Ch 23 Normal with mentioned priority.
  • PvP: These units are more used for PvP.
