Foreword
Hello there, Conductor! Mirage Island is a newly added revenue source along with the introduction of Cape City. This feature, similar to decorating options as you do in your Passenger or Crew Carriage, has a similar way of investment, such as raising ticket prices, dividends, and reducing the tax rate. There are also other content within the Mirage Island, such as Patrol Stages, Fending off Unexpected Guests, Volleyball Minigame, Shop with a variety of goodies and decorations, along with promoting your Island to tourists. This will be explained more in the sections below.
Mirage Island can provide a great passive income, but it will only bear fruit if invested in properly.
Warning
If you are planning to make such an investment here, we recommend having at least capital of 20 Million+ BCRL Coins as a starting capital, as finishing the Main Quest of the Island can be quite costly and the prices for decorations and facilities can be hefty. Additionally, fights can be difficult, so only do this when you have a proper main team and at least a level 45 conductor.
What can you do in Mirage Island?
As mentioned in the overview, there are contents you must do in order to properly facilitate your island. This includes doing patrols, fending off unexpected guests and playing volleyball to earn some Shell Tokens, Volleyball Coins and Material Vouchers. These currencies can be used to exchange in the Decoration Store and Island Exchange. Now let’s discuss each section of the island.
Island Quest
There is a set of quests you need to accomplish that will help you earn Prosperity Index (Island EXP), Shell Tokens and Material Voucher. The Main Quest, which is story-related, is colored Gold while the Side Quests are Blue. These are fairly easy to do, but can be gated by how much capital and clarity you have.
Doing the Main Quest will earn you these Collectible Card Sets.
Island Patrol and Unexpected Guest
Patrols are combat stages where you can earn mainly Prosperity Index (Island EXP), Shell Tokens and Material Vouchers. You can also earn different types of upgrade materials, Source Citadel Equipment and Reputation for Cape City, as Mirage Island is located at Cape City. This consists of 8 stages which scale in difficulty; hence, there is a reason we recommend starting Island contents at LVL 45. (You will spend 20 Clarity on doing these stages.)
Unexpected Guests are enemies that randomly appear on your Island. This is quite similar to Patrol, with the rewards, with the exception of Source Citadel Equipment and Reputation. This doesn’t cost any Clarity, so it's wise to clear them whenever there is one or more on your Island.
Expand
Pretty straightforward, expands your Island for you to add more Facilities and Decoration. You will use BCRL Coins and Material Vouchers to upgrade this. The upgrade requirement varies depending on the number of expansions.
The Island can be expanded 5 times.

Island Advertisement and Revenue Dashboard
You can attract tourists with these advertisements; Keep that in mind, you will consume Leaflets or Advertisement Licenses. You can also bring passengers from other Cities and Stations to Cape City to visit your Island. The number of maximum tourists will depend on the upgrades of your island.
This is your Revenue Dashboard, you will see the metrics of your Island, like how many total visitors you have, your total revenue and a couple of other information.
Similar to ONEderland investment, you can also invest to increase ticket prices, increase dividends and reduce taxes. You can only invest once every time you revisit Cape City. If you have decent Capital, invest in Gold or Silver investment tokens in this dashboard.
The maximum value is "Dividend Ratio 32%", "Tax reduction -5%", and "Raise Ticket 1500".
Volleyball
Compete in a Volleyball Match daily to earn yourself some Volleyball Coins to be used for redeeming exclusive items in the Island Exchange. Note: You can just buy the entry attempts daily in the Exchange Shop.
Gameplay is fairly simple, just click the Blue Tiles when they appear and then spike as you fill the bar. In order to guarantee a spike, your bar must be filled higher compared to your opponent's.
Decoration Store
You can buy Facilities and Decors for your Island; the Facilities and Decors offer personalized options to decorate each section of your Island. Something to note is that, similar to train, Furniture and Decors here have ratings too, which can help the retention of tourists staying in your Island, and of course, the higher the ratings, the better, but better Facilities and Decors means more BCRL Coins to invest.
Expect to be gated by Material Vouchers as the acquisition of them can be quite low.
To decorate your Island, simply click the Decorate button in the lobby and this will prompt you to arrange each of your Facilities and Decors. For now, we wouldn’t be including the most optimal decoration as we have yet to unlock every set of decorations.
Trash Compartment
There is also a Trash Compartment you can upgrade, as your Island generates trash hourly, which depends on the facilities in each section.

You can exchange your Shell Tokens and Volleyball Coins here with a variety of selected Items such as Laplace Protocol, Fran’s Skin, Conductor Outfits, Equipment, Self Observe Films and a lot more.
Visiting Friends
You can also visit your friend’s island to deal with Unexpected Guests and clean their trash. By doing this task, both you and your friend will receive rewards.
