Soul Echo

After you unlock Tier 9 gear you can further upgrade it to Tier 10, also called Soul Echo.

• The piece of equipment needs to reach level 5 first
• You can only level up Faction equipment (a Bloodborn unit cannot get Soul Echo gear with Church faction)

Don’t Upgrade Random Gear

You CANNOT unequip these items, so make sure you enhance first your strongest DPS and main team.

Each Soul Echo piece can get up to 3 sub-stats:

• The first line is guaranteed.
• The second line has a 50% chance of appearing.
• The third line has a 30% chance of appearing.

Rerolling sub-stats on Soul Echo equipment costs Soulstrike , which can be farmed in Restless Spirit II.

There are also two rerolling options:

Change Effects: This option resets the attributes and rolls for entirely new sub-stats. It’s used to get useful sub-stats if you have bad ones (e.g., M.DMG Bonus on a Vassal with a Physical Damage Type) or to try and get more sub-stat lines if you only have one or two.

Reset Attributes: This option rerolls only the percentage values of your existing sub-stats. This is generally something to focus on much later in the game.

• Reroll for the best-in-slot sub-stat on the third line.
• Lock the third line if it’s a best-in-slot option for the specific Vassal.
• Reroll for the second line stat and lock it, or reroll for both remaining lines if you don’t want to lock the second.
• Long-Term Savings: Locking lines generally saves more Soulstrike over time due to the guaranteed first line. However, luck varies.
• Vassal-Specific Needs: Some Vassals may not need a best-in-slot third line to be viable, while others must have certain lines to function fully.

About Locking Sub-stats

Soulstrike can permanently lock lines until manually removed. Each locked line increases the cost of rerolling.

After turning your T9 Faction Equipment to Soul Echo Equipment you can use 2 Soulstrike Bellows to obtain defensive blessings through Overheat.

Overheat Blessings can go up to LVL 25 and requires 2 Soulstrike Bellows per roll.

Soulstrike Bellows can be obtain on Tomb of the Fallen - Haunted Sepulcher Floors 4 and 5 . Soulstrike Bellows are further divided into each type of equipment.
