Silver and Blood Tier List

Categories

Here are the categories we're rating the characters in:

• Story - how the character performs in Story content (including deficit up to 40%),
• Hunts - how the character performs in various Bossing-related content (Tomb of the Fallen, Prophecy, Clan Hunt etc).
• PVP - how the character performs in PVP content.

Criteria

• Characters are all rated at Spirit Siphon 7 (8 total copies). This is in consideration of Resonantia Effects at Spirit Siphon 7, which changes how the character plays, with this being considered,
• Characters are rated with their skills upgraded to level 7/7/7,
• Characters are rated as if they are equipped with their optimal Artifacts at Level 5,
• Characters are rated on both auto and manual play, but we also marked characters that become much better if you play them manually,
• Characters are compared to others within their 'Moon type' and role when deciding the ratings. Don't compare New Moon with Crescent Moon, for example,
• For characters that rely on Synergy or Specific teams. They are assumed to be in that particular team.

Characters marked with this icon are limited characters that are only available to pull during their events - you can't obtain them from the standard banner or shards.

Ratings explained

• T0 - Characters who almost always represent the strongest option within their teams/role.
• These characters are highly versatile and can be seamlessly integrated into various team compositions. They consistently outperform their alternatives within their respective roles.
• These characters significantly impact their teams’ performance by contributing an incredible amount of value - either as potent damage dealers or through powerful utility built into their kits.
• T0.5 - Characters not strong enough to be T0, but notably stronger than the average T1.
• While we tried to be as explicit as possible in our rating methodology, there will inevitably be characters that toe the line regardless how we go about it. In the interest of capturing this, this half-tier exists as an in-between.
• Certain characters excel in their niche, but may have a significant amount of their “value” tied to enabling some other (T0) character. These characters are undeniably important, especially given that this is a team game with heavy focus around character synergy, but to best reflect this relationship, they have been added to T0.5 tier.
• T1 - Characters that excel in their role or in a frequently occurring niche.
• These characters excel at what they do and are regularly called upon to fill that niche. These characters are staples to the roster and see frequent use across various game modes.
• T2 - Characters that excel in an uncommon, but important niche.
• These can be highly specialized or highly situational characters who, owing to some external factor, only see limited play.
• T3 - Characters playable if you like them.
• These characters struggle to make a noticeable impact or have big competition in their niches.
• T4 - Weak characters or those that can't be played at all.
• In this tier we're placing characters that don't offer anything worthwhile.

As the game has progressed over 6 months, META has also grown. There are also new characters added since the first iteration of this tier list, and more character options to choose from. Also, with the addition of Synergy and Heirloom Vault, most could say that some characters have improved in terms of their performance. Therefore, new adjustments are made into consideration; now, characters will be rated at Spirit Siphon 7. Please refer to the Criteria for a better understanding of how we rank each character.

• 
  Aiona [Starry-Eyed] ratings have been reduced in Story and Bossing by half a tier. While her ability to protect the team and teleport them around is still top notch (especially until Chapter 15/16 - as the encounters until that point are built around having her to counter the mechanic via her teleportation), since the release of Quinn her usage rate dropped quite a lot in the Story (in both early and late story). And now Albrecht further pushes her down the priority list as he's not only able to keep the team alive, but further can debuff the enemies and cause them to receive more damage.

• We have decided to remove the Story - Low Deficit tier list. With Timeless Aiona release, pushing content is easier now so the split not longer makes sense, as the meta is pretty similar before and with deficit.
