Eironn is a S-Rank Wilder Rogue who mainly focuses on Crowd Control and reducing enemy Magic defense, while also offering solid damage and survivability. He is a staple in any Magic damage-focused team composition.

His Ultimate, Elemental Realm, pulls enemies together, dealing damage and immobilizing them for 3 seconds. At Mythic+, it is automatically cast at the start of battle at reduced damage.

At EX+10 Weapon, the immobilization duration increases to 6 seconds. At Supreme+, Elemental Realm also reduces the Magic Defense of all immobilized enemies.

His first skill, Ice Spike, deals damage and lowers enemy Haste. Enemies struck at the center of the skill also get reduced Magic Defense.

His second skill, Elemental Barrier, grants a shield that refreshes every 10 seconds. While active, it boosts Eironn’s Dodge rate.

Now, for a quick overview of her performance in the various game modes:

  • Story and AFK stages - Eironn is often used as a secondary frontliner alongside a primary tank like Ulmus in Magic damage-focused teams like Arden, Carolina and Bonnie. This setup frequently results in scenarios where enemies are locked down and unable to act for the whole fight.

  • Dream Realm - Eironn sees little to no use in this mode, as there are generally better options to choose from. His Crowd Controls are ineffective in Dream Realm, and his only notable utility is his Magic Defense Reduction.

  • PVP - Eironn is the core around which most CC-based teams are built around, though he has fallen off a bit ever since the release of Lily May, as she hard counters him at the start of battle by blocking his Ultimate. This counter can in turn be countered by characters who activate their Ultimate at start of battle, such as Bryon or Niru, but it does make the team weaker since you are forced to include a suboptimal character to get around Lily May, while the enemy team can have 5 good units to begin with. That said, if Lily May is not present, Eironn can still quickly nuke enemy teams when paired with Ulmus and other high burst and CC-based DPS, such as Arden / Carolina / Lenya. In Supreme Arena you can simply attack one of the teams that do not counter Eironn. He is also very tanky himself thanks to his 80% Dodge ability that is active when he casts Elemental Barrier.

Conclusion

Eironn provides an exceptional utility as a frontliner, especially for Magic damage based teams that can fully utilize his Magic Defense shred.

We recommend investing in him at least up to Mythic+ to unlock the Passive that allows Eironn to cast his Ultimate for free at the start of battle, providing immediate Crowd Control. Pushing to Supreme+, makes all of his Ultimate casts to reduce enemy Magic Defense on top of stat boost for survivability.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Grouping Crowd Control.

  • Great sustain with Elemental Barrier.

  • Magic Defense Reduction.

Cons

  • Useless before Mythic+.

  • In PVP, he can be easily hard countered by Lily May unless you have Bryon or Niru paired with him.

EX Investment

Since the

Temporal Essence
Temporal Essence
and
Twilight Essence
Twilight Essence
are very hard to obtain, you have to be really careful with the using them to upgrade the EX weapon. And in this guide we ordered all characters by the priority when it comes to how much they need investment in their EX weapon to work well and where should you stop to get the best bang for your buck.

Color explanation:

  • +X - where every character starts,
  • +X - the next step that you should do when investing into that character - for some characters this will be enough,
  • +X - the final step you should do when investing into that character - you can go beyond that later though once you have the Essences to spare.
