AFK Journey Wishlist

The wishlist unlocks after doing 30 pulls when it comes to the All-Hero Recruitment banner and is available from the start for the Epic Recruitment banner. When you fully fill the wishlist, any character you pull will come from the Wishlist. This will help you a lot in narrowing down the heroes you want to obtain and smoother your progression. That's why properly setting up the tier list with strong heroes is very important.

• For the All-Hero Recruitment banner Wishlist, you can select 2x
  

  A-Level
  and 2x
  

  S-Level
  characters per faction.
• For the Epic Recruitment Banner the Wishlist has only 5 spots, so in most cases you will only fill it with
  

  S-Level
  characters.
• Keep in mind that you can select
  

  A-Level
  units on this Wishlist too, but you will always receive an Epic version of them if you pull them (this means that you get 4 soulstones of theirs if you already own the unit, a quick way to upgrade them to higher ranks).

When it comes to

characters, ascending them is very important and requires both dupes and Acorns. So making a mistake in focusing your resources and 'wishlist' spot into someone who doesn't deserve it will kick it in your ass soon, slowing down your progression. As for characters, you require a lot more dupes (64 compared to 8 for S-Level) to raise an A-Level character to Supreme+, so again you have to wisely choose who you want to place on your wishlist.

One copy wonders

Below you will find characters that you want to get 1 copy of before starting to invest into others. It doesn't mean that the characters below will last you forever with one copy, but rather that they work really well early without dupes - eventually though you will want to raise them too.

Wishlist setup - All-Hero Recruitment

The characters are listed in the order of priority - so you should place number 1 and 2 on the wishlist first and once you get them to Supreme+ rank, you move to the next one.

Wishlist setup - Epic Recruitment

Here are the five characters you should place on your Epic Wishlist as obtaining their dupes is the most important as you progress through the game.

Here is the order you should invest into Cele/Hypo characters and where they are used.

1. 
   Elijah and Lailah - shines in Dream Realm and in AFK Stages. Can also be used in PVP with good results. Get them to Supreme+,
• The Twins are honestly the most impactful Dream Realm character ever - all the top scoring teams use them. They're also great in AFK Stages and in PVP,
2. 
   Reinier - shines in Dream Realm and PVP. Get him to Mythic+ as that's enough and move to the next character,
• M+ Reinier is used in majority Dream Realm bosses since the game launched. He ages like wine,
3. 
   Baelran - shines in AFK Stages, Dream Realm and PVP. Get him to Supreme+,
• Great all-around character that can be used in any content,
4. 
   Phraesto - shines in AFK Stages, Dream Realm and PVP. Get him to Supreme (and get his EX to +15, Supreme+ isn't must have),
• Another great all-around character that can be used in any content, but recently his performance in Endless Dream Realm started to fall off,
5. 
   Harak - shines in Dream Realm and PVP. Get him to Supreme+,
• A snowballing monster, being able to decimate the enemy team by himself. Also really good in Dream Realm, but requires specific setup to work there. Just keep in mind that his performance in DR heavily depends on the bosses featured there in that specific season,
6. 
   Athalia - shines in PVP. Get her to Supreme+,
• Great in PVP with some niche uses in PVE content,
7. 
   Saida - shines in AFK Stages and PVP. Get her to Supreme+,
• The best stall character in the game who can perform great in both AFK stages and PVP,
8. 
   Cryonaia - shines in PVP and works great in AFK Stages, Dream Realm. Get her to Supreme+,
• Cryonaia is a Mage that can control the battlefield and decimate enemies. She is a PVP beast who also works well in AFK Stages as standalone characters, but if you want to use her in Dream Realm, she relies on Harak to work around her debuff that hinders the team,
9. 
   Talene - shines in AFK Stages, Dream Realm and PVP. Get her to Supreme+,
• A great damage dealer who works in all content - both PVE and PVP,
10. 
    Kulu - shines in AFK Stages and PVP. Get her to Supreme+,
• Great in PVP with some niche uses in PVE content,
11. 
    Dunlingr - shines in PVP. Get him to Supreme+ (but he already works decently well at Mythic+ and even at 1 copy - depending on your rank in the Arena),
12. 
    Dionel - shines in PVP. Get him to Supreme+,
13. 
    Scarlita - shines in PVP. Get her to Supreme+,
14. 
    Berial - shines in PVP. Get him to Supreme+.
