Review

Silven is an A-rank Mage who bombards a single target with relentless Flying Blades, prioritizing focused damage over AoE attack and specializing in true damage.

His Ultimate, Aloft Edge, summons 6 Flying Blades that empower his Normal Attacks. Each attack sends the blades striking toward the target before rapidly re-forming for 8 seconds. When inside the Tempered Field, his blades are further enhanced, dealing bonus True Damage based on the enemy’s max HP. Tempered Field appears at the start of the battle and disappears if Silven moves. It reactivates after he remains stationary for 3 seconds.

Gravity Collapse places a Blade Mark on enemies whenever they are hit by his normal attacks. After 4 Normal Attacks, his next attack transforms into Gravity Collapse, detonating all Blade Marks to deal damage and knock enemies down. While Aloft Edge is active, Gravity Collapse gains extended range and fires 6 additional Flying Blades at the target.

At Mythic+, Silven unlocks Oath of Fealty, granting him Energy and Penetration whenever he receives a temporary buff from an ally. This also permanently increases both his and the ally’s Attack Speed. At EX+10, triggering Oath of Fealty twice grants Silven bonus Attack. At Supreme+, he deals increased damage to enemies above 50% HP.

Performance in Various Game Modes
  • Story and AFK Stages - A solid DPS option, though AoE damage is generally more valuable for pushing AFK stages right now.

  • Dream Realm - This is where Silven could shine the brightest, but True Damage isn't that good in the pre-Endless world. We will have to wait for Endless to arrive later to see if he can compete for the DPS spot.

  • PvP - While Tempered Field grants him increased Ranged DEF, he's vulnerable to dives, can be eliminated quickly, and any displacement can cause him to lose the Tempered Field buff. Though, he's still working decently well there if you can protect him.

Investment
  • Legendary+ increases Silven's ATK SPD during battle.

  • Mythic+ makes Silven gain Energy and Penetration when buffed by allies, permanently increasing both his and the ally’s ATK SPD.

  • EX+10 increases Silven's ATK after Oath of Fealty triggers twice.

  • Supreme+ makes Silven deal increased damage to enemies above 50% HP.

Conclusion

Right now, Silven seems like a strong pick for Dream Realm, though he's unlikely to shift the overall meta by much. For investment, aiming for Mythic+ with EX+10 covers his key upgrades. If you want to push further, Supreme+ adds extra damage against high HP targets and performs even better in Endless Dream Realm.
