Overview

Promo Image

Battle Imagines are a special equipment that allows players to call on and transform into enemies and NPCs from the game in order to acquire powerful passive effects and devastating additional active abilities. They are not restricted to your Class nor Spec, and players can equip up to two at a time. They can deal large amounts of damage, provide massive stat bonuses, or grant incredible utility abilities such as cooldown reduction and even battle revives.

Actives and Passives
Promo Image

Every Imagine possesses both an Active and a Passive Effect. The Passive Effect is permanent and only requires the Imagine to be equipped to function. The Active Effect must be activated using the Imagine’s corresponding ability key. Active Effects have both a duration (how long it persists) and a cooldown (time until you can activate the Imagine again), durations and CD values vary amongst Battle Imagines and are usually influenced by the potency of the active effect.

Rarities
  • Battle Imagines come in 3 different rarities: Epic, Legendary, andRelic (though these appear as Legendary once pulled from the gacha).
  • At the time of release the 4 Relic Imagines are gacha-locked, whilst all other Imagines are obtainable from ordinary gameplay.
  • The 4 Relic Imagines are: Airona, Tina, Olvera, and Tatta (you might recognize them as characters in the Main Story).
  • As for Epic & Legendary tier Imagines, players can either acquire them over time or pull them from the Gacha.
    • Note: Some Epic Imagines at max advancement can even compete with low advancement Legendary and Relic Imagines.

Crafting Imagines

Promo Image

You may craft Battle Imagines by interacting with the NPC Mason located at the Imagine Research area in Asterleeds. To craft an Imagine, you must have:

  • The Battle Imagine Will corresponding to the Imagine you are crafting.
  • Legendary/Epic Battle Imagine Materials.
  • Common Enemy Drops.

Both the Wills and Crafting Materials can be obtained in a number of ways we’ve listed out down below. Wills are the rarest piece of crafting a battle imagine, but often the materials themselves can take longer and be more expensive to acquire. Also, every Imagine has its own desired Legendary, Epic and Common materials to be crafted. Therefore, we recommended players figure out the targeted Imagines for their Class Spec to save all material selectors until it’s time to craft. Spending your daily keys farming your target, Imagine’s Will or Materials is also highly recommended.

Tip

Gacha Imagines still use Legendary Imagine materials meaning saving Legendary selector boxes in the hope stronger gacha Imagines are released can be a viable strategy.

Obtaining Wills

Monster Hunts
Promo Image

The Monster Hunt mode allows the tracking of Elite, Boss and Normal enemies, the ones we’re interested in for Imagine acquisition though, are the Elite and Boss categories.

When defeating an Elite or a Boss, they’ll spawn a chest you may open by consuming an Elite or Boss Loot Key, respectively. These chests contain rewards corresponding the the Elite or Boss monsters Reward Drop Pool. Within this drop pool is the Will that corresponds to the enemy, specific Imagine materials, and Will Fragments as a consolation prize.

You may have noticed that all Epic Imagines are in fact Elite enemies, and all Legendary Imagines are World Bosses you can fight. It is best to farm your desired Imagine’s spot whenever you have Keys to try and get their Will as a drop.

Tip

Legendary Wills can be sold on the Trading Center if dropped unbound and are very lucrative. Due to the high amounts of materials required to craft imagines, players could sell their unbound Wills and use the earned

to purchase Imagine materials.

Stimen Vaults
Promo Image

Stimen Vaults is a “Multi-Level Tower” mode that has up to 60 floors, opening slowly within a Season’s duration. The rewards also reset biweekly, offering dedicated players a means to repeatedly acquire Imagine materials.

Stimen Vaults can drop Wills, Will Fragments and Imagine materials upon completing each floor. Wills and materials drop as either Epic orLegendary rarities depending on the floor level with Legendary having a much higher chance to appear on boss levels every 5th floor. In addition to dropping materials outright, it’s also possible to drop selector boxes instead allowing you to hone in on exactly what you need.

In addition to the rewards granted upon floor completion, Stimen Vaults also features a Milestone reward track that resets bi-weekly and grants even more materials based on your total clear progress.

Battle Will Exchange
Promo Image

In addition to crafting services, Mason at the Imagine Research area in Asterleed also offers us the ability to dismantle unwanted Wills for Fragments and exchange them for Wills we do want.

Will Fragments are an occasional drop reward from various game modes and the gacha and take the form of either Arcane (Legendary) or Stunt (Epic) Will Fragments.

When dismantling Imagines here is how many fragments you can expect:

Imagine RarityFragments Gained
Relic (Gacha)60 - 90 Arcane Will Fragments
Legendary20 - 30 Arcane Will Fragments
Epic12 - 20 Stunt Will Fragments

Exchanging Will Fragments for Will’s is simple. Once you have a sufficient amount, talk to Mason and navigate to the Will Exchange. Within the Exchange, you’ll find the corresponding Wills for all Imagines in the game, and, providing you’re on top of your saving and farming, a sure-fire path to get the exact Imagine you want.

Here are the fragment amounts required to exchange for a specific Will:

Imagine RarityFragments Gained
Relic (Gacha)300 Arcane Will Fragments
Legendary100 Arcane Will Fragments
Epic80 Stunt Will Fragments
Will Wish

The final feature Mason provides is the Will Wish system. Unlike the cosmetic gacha, this is only accessible from an NPC rather than a menu button.

Here you can pull for Relic, Legendary and Epic Wills with in-built guarantees you’ll get certain rarities at specific pull thresholds.

In addition to these guarantees, players may also use the Resonate function to select a specific Relic imagine preference, guaranteeing the next Relic Will pull will be for exactly that Imagine.

For more information on the Will Wish system, check out our Gacha Guide.

Upgrading Imagines

Promo Image

Every Imagine can also be upgraded 5 times, from Advancement 0 (base) until Advancement 5. Upgrading Imagines no longer requires common enemy drops, but instead requires an additional Will every Advancement on ever-increasing Imagine crafting materials. While manageable forEpic Imagines the material cost can become quite high in order to max out Legendary and Relic Imagines.

Here are the resources required for each level depending on the rarity and advancement:

RarityRelic (Gacha)LegendaryEpic
Advancement 020 Legendary Imagine Materials15 Legendary Imagine Materials10 Epic Imagine Materials
Advancement 130 Legendary Imagine Materials20 Legendary Imagine Materials12 Epic Imagine Materials
Advancement 240 Legendary Imagine Materials20 Legendary Imagine Materials14 Epic Imagine Materials
Advancement 350 Legendary Imagine Materials25 Legendary Imagine Materials16 Epic Imagine Materials
Advancement 460 Legendary Imagine Materials30 Legendary Imagine Materials18 Epic Imagine Materials
Advancement 580 Legendary Imagine Materials35 Legendary Imagine Materials20 Epic Imagine Materials

Upgrading Imagines provides several benefits:

  • Increased Active effect.
  • Increased Passive effect.
  • Reduced Cooldown of Active effects at Advancement 3 and 5.
  • Special abilities at Advancement 5 (Exclusive to a specific few Imagines).

As an example, Celestial Flier deals 1500% ATK worth of damage, boosts Haste by 10% when activated, has a 120-second cooldown, and gives a flat 800 Haste passively.

At Advancement 5, the damage dealt increases to 2625%, the Haste% increases to 20%, the cooldown drops to 80 seconds, and the flat Haste bonus increases to 2000.

This is why for most players, advancing a powerful Epic Imagine is a great way to enhance one’s power. Their base benefits are weaker thanLegendary Imagines, but at Advancement 5 they can often compete with and even beat Advancement 0 Legendary Imagines provided they benefit the Spec you are playing.
