Blue Protocol: Star Resonance features a gacha system that allows players to acquire exclusive Cosmetics (not Player Power) and Battle Imagines (Player Power).Note that while you can farm the Advanced and Intermediate Battle Imagines in-game by defeating and looting Boss and Elite tier monsters, the Rare tier Battle Imagines are gacha-exclusive. Battle Will Gacha

How To Summon

To access the Battle Imagine Gacha system in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, you have to visit Mason in Asterleeds. He is located within the Entertainment District in a building alongside the Alchemy Exchange.

Battle Will Acquisition and Rarities

There are three different rarities of Battle Imagines.

  • Rare: Acquirable via the Gacha, Trading Center, or by exchanging 300 Arcane Will Fragments at the Battle Will Exchange.
    • Not directly farmable.
  • Advanced: Acquirable via the Gacha, Trading Center, using Daily Boss Loot Keys, Completing The Stimen Vaults or by exchanging 100 Arcane Will Fragments at the Battle Will Exchange.
    • Realistically Farmable In-Game Over Time.
  • Intermediate: Acquirable via the Gacha, Trading Center, Using Daily Elite Loot Keys, Completing The Stimen Vaults or by exchanging 80 Stunt Will Fragments at the Battle Will Exchange.
    • Easily able to farm multiple copies of your choice as F2P.
Note

When farming or pulling a Battle Will, you must still craft the respective Battle Imagine. Higher-tier Imagines require a lot of the higher rarity Materials, so getting an Intermediate Will that fits your Spec is great for the early game.

Pull Rates

There are four outcomes you will encounter when pulling on the Will Wish banner:

  • Rare: 0.15%
    • Random Rare Battle Imagine
  • Advanced: 1.2%
    • Random Advanced Battle Imagine
  • Intermediate: 12%
    • Random Intermediate Battle Imagine
  • Ordinary: 86.65%
    • Stun Will Fragments
      • 10 Fragments: 9.09%
      • 5 Fragments 18.18%
      • 2 Fragments 27.27%
      • 1 Fragment 45.46%
Pity System

In addition to the rates above, you’re also guaranteed to get the following after a set amount of pulls, improving your total odds at a rare pull.

  • Rare: Guaranteed after 80 pulls, boosting the effective pull rate from 0.15% -> 1.35%.
  • Advanced: Guaranteed after 20 pulls, boosting the effective pull rate from 1.2% -> 4.75%.
Resonate System

The resonate system allows you to further customize your odds at the Battle Imagine you want by allowing you to select a Rare Battle Imagine of your choice to target and guarantee the next time you pull a Rare from the Gacha.

At the time of release there is only one Battle Imagine banner “Battle Will” which contains the following non-directly farmable Battle Imagines:

Cosmetic Gacha

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance features a secondary gacha system purely for cosmetics that do not influence battle power. There is a Limited Outfit banner alongside a Limited Mount banner. Based on our current knowledge from the Chinese server, the banners will change after a month.

How To Summon

Accessing the cosmetic gacha is much simpler than the Battle Imagine one, as there is a designated “Wish” button in your account menu.

Cosmetic Wish Acquisition and Rarities

There are four different rarities of Cosmetics.

  • Rare: The banner’s Outfit set in full alongside bonus cosmetics like a Namecard and Badge, or the banner’s Mount.
  • Advanced: An assortment of single-slot cosmetics like backwear and headwear. You also have a chance to receive a

    , which lets you buy cosmetics that you want directly in the Meow Store - Premium Store section.
  • Intermediate: An assortment of single slot cosmetics, with more variation than the Advanced tier (Tops, Boots, Bottoms may be pulled), but less detail and more prizes, making desired items harder to obtain. You also have a chance to obtain Material Selectors, Mixing Agents, and

    , which can be used to purchase some Cosmetics in the Meow Store - Vault Store section.
  • Ordinary: The lowest prize, with cosmetic Toys that are one-time pose effects, random low-tier Materials, and the chance to obtain a lesser amount of

  • Advanced: 1.85% (0.65% higher than the Battle Imagine Banner)
  • Intermediate: 12%
  • Ordinary: 86% (0.65% lower than the Battle Imagine Banner)

In addition to the rates above, you’re also guaranteed to get the following after a set amount of pull,s improving your total odds at a rare pull.

  • Rare: Guaranteed after 80 pulls, boosting the effective pull rate from 0.15% -> 1.54%.
  • Advanced: Guaranteed after 30 pulls, boosting the effective pull rate from 1.85% -> 3.68%.

The Cosmetic gacha Banners have no other Rare drops outside of the Outfit/Mount featured on their Banners, meaning you will be guaranteed to pull the featured Cosmetic when obtaining a Rare wish.

At the time of release there is only one Limited Outfit banner, which contains the Solsticera Set containing the full Solsticera outfit pieces alongside two Hair Vouchers, a Namecard, and a Badge.

There is also one Limited Mount banner, which contains the Shimmering Beautifish Mount alongside a Badge.

Associated Currencies and Fashion Recycling

When pulling from the cosmetic gacha, you'll inevitably receive some Advanced, Intermediate, and Ordinary drops. Don’t fret, you can still get some cool items from these drops by spending the currency you get in the Meow Store! The Meow Store has 3 separate tabs that represent each of these rarities.
