Galahad is quite essentially the quintessential pure tank. Her Ultimate makes all allies Immune to damage while buffing all Archer and Wizard class allies Attack significantly. Her Active Skill applies a teamwide Damage Reduction buff. Her Parrying Passive deals a large chunk of damage to all Frontline enemies whenever Galahad resists an debuff inflicted by the enemy, whereas her Sanctuary Passive increases all allies’ Defense.

Galahad arrived very early into the game’s release and immediately turned the meta on its head. The combination of both Damage Reduction and Defense buffs, incredible bulk and the ability to completely cheese incoming damage for 5 seconds on demand is already incredibly good. On top of that, she grants an absolutely massive 150% to 250% Attack buff to all Archers and Wizards in the party for 20 seconds, an absolute beast of an offensive buff.

Galahad is highly recommended to new players as the first tank they should reroll for, but they should probably also have a fire tank like Kay on standby for levels featuring a large number of nature enemies. New Players might run into a small difficulty curve as early game Adventure mode has A LOT of Nature enemies. Otherwise, Galahad sees use across all content that features a powerful Archer/ Wizard DPS, but can easily slot into Knight teams on the basis of her defensive capabilities.

Galahad’s card, Knight of Purity, provides a big Shield that never refreshes. It's a little selfish card for tanks. Use it if you don't have any other choice but Prydwen offers more for tanks and your entire team than this card. Some people would prefer this on their Transcend 5/Awakened Galahad because it scales on your HP. The bigger your HP pool is, the greater this card becomes. It is also used in PVP stall teams due to PVP having more max HP than usual.

Unique Damage Immunity buff that can cheese a lot of content.
Significantly improves team survival with Defense and Damage Reduction buffs.
Significantly buffs Archer and Wizard class DPS.

Cons

No innate self healing.
Early game adventure mode has a LOT of Nature type enemies.

Dupe Priority - Transcend > Card
Recommended Transcend - Transcend 5 / Awaken (Galahad as a tank wants more bulk to take hits in general; the more, the better. Also skyrockets the attack buff on her ult to over 250% damage and improves her party defensive buffs.

Skill Priority

Passive 2 = Passive 1 = Active = Ultimate

Synergies

Isolde - Isolde alongside Galahad and any Damage Reduction Pets / Equipment can easily push the Damage Reduction stat to its 50% cap.

Comments

Every Archer/ Wizard comp: Galahad has no big synergies with a particular unit, but is so universally strong that she can slot into most, if not all comps.

Cards

Holy Sword's Blessing (Ethan) - Ethan’s card grants a one-time resist death buff that can prolong Galahad’s tanking capabilities.
Knight of Purity (Galahad) - Alternative Tank card if Ethan card is being used elsewise
Charm (Lilith - Galahad’s preferred Raid card, provides the whole party with free Critical Hit Rate.
Lingering Allure (Anessa) - Alternative Raid card that can provide a party-wide Attack buff.
