Galahad is the quintessential pure tank. Her Ultimate makes all allies Immune to damage while buffing all Archer and Wizard class allies' attacks significantly. Her Active Skill applies a teamwide Damage Reduction buff. Her Parrying Passive deals a large chunk of damage to all Frontline enemies whenever Galahad resists a debuff inflicted by the enemy, whereas her Sanctuary Passive increases all allies’ Defense.
Galahad arrived very early in the game’s release and remains one of the best tanks in the game. The 5-second invincibility on her Ultimate allows a brief respite from high damage situations while also cheesing dangerous phases. The DMG Reduction on her active is helpful for reaching the 50% cap early on, and later for topping the stat off against enemies packing Ignore Damage Reduction gimmicks. On top of that, she also increases her party’s damage output via the buff on her ultimate.
Galahad is highly recommended to new players, but faces stiff competition from newer tanks (Flame Kay; Belsey) nowadays. Galahad’s lack of self sustain is a limiting factor players must consider when slotting her into a party.
Galahad’s Card Knight of Purity can be used by Tanks. It provides a one-time shield at the start of the fight up to 200% of Caster’s HP. Its Stat Line provides Defense and Healing Received increase.
Gala’s card main use is for Lueira, being able to further stack Lueira’s max shield value, improving Lueira’s scaling on her Basic Attacks and damage potential.
Outside of this, it is a selfish Card for Tanks and should be only used if you don’t have any other choice. Ethan card fulfils a similar role, but you only have 1 Ethan card.
Unique Damage Immunity buff that can cheese a lot of content.
Significantly improves team survival with Defense and Damage Reduction buffs.
Significantly buffs Archer and Wizard class DPS.
Lack of Sustain.
Early game adventure mode has a LOT of Nature-type enemies.
