Gawain is essentially your traditional bruiser class character. Her Ultimate and Active inflicts damage to all enemies and stuns them while dealing Additional Damage for every buff active on them. Her “Surge” Passive increases her own HP and grants her an Additional Damage buff, whereas her “Resolution” Passive increases her own HP and Healing received.
Gawain has a similar kit to Elizabeth, but does one better by having bonus HP and inflicting bonus damage for every active buff on enemies. This puts her in a unique position as a tanky Nature brawler in PvP, where many parties would have at least 3 to 4 buffs active and some of the meta defining units in that arena are Radiance typing. Gawain does not excel in either DPS or tanking otherwise, and tends to fall short if she tries to do both. Gawain might see use once she gets some dupes available to her, but otherwise tends to be benched in favour of other tank/ DPS units.
Gawain’s card, Green Belt, is serviceable as a Tank card, but a cleanse with a horrendous 30 second cooldown seems bad. Nothing that does anything for your team is generally bad.

Average DPS/Tank capabilities. Does not excel at either.
