Agnes constructs a Projected Plane at a select position. After a brief delay, the Projected Plane will pull enemies inside the plane toward its center while inflicting Movement Speed Down and P. DEF Down (Moderate) for 5 sec. Once the Projected Plane is constructed, Agnes transforms her weapon and enters her Planar Regression state for 12 sec, hurling boomerangs at the Projected Plane, each dealing 375.0% ATK (P. DMG) to enemies within the Projected Plane.

Planar Regression modifies her Meridian Tracing skill, hurling a powerful boomerang at the Projected Plane that deals 750.0% ATK (P. DMG) to enemies within the Projected Plane.

[Pull]: Control: Strong. Displace. Target is pulled forward and unable to cast Ultimate, Special (Active), Basic ATK, or move during the effect.

[Movement Speed Down]: Reduces Movement Speed by 90.0%.

[P. DEF Down (Moderate)]: P. DEF -20.0%. Does not stack with effects of the same type.

Special

Special

[Shield]: When taking DMG, loses Shield Strength instead of HP. When taking True DMG, loses Shield Strength equal to 200% of DMG taken. Shield cannot exceed 200% of Max HP.

Agnes is Debuffer/DPS hybrid who introduces a new mechanic to the game - gathering enemies in the spot of your choosing. This allows you to set up combo attacks more easily; for example, Agnes gathers enemies in one place, and you follow up with Dalcarlo, who attacks them all.

Let's go over her kit more closely.

Starting with her Ultimate, that is the most important part of her kit. It creates an arena with a decently wide range that gathers all enemies near it and pulls them to the center while preventing them from using their skills. At the same time, Agnes inflicts all those who were affected by the skill with Movement SPD Down and P. DEF Down - this both amplifies her own damage (and her teammates if they're Physical) and makes it harder for the enemies to escape the arena. But that's not all! After creating the arena, Agnes transforms her weapon, and her kit changes:

  • Basic Attacks will hit every enemy inside the arena (and deal increased damage),

  • Special Attack will turn into a massive bumerang that also deals damage to all enemies inside the arena,

  • Agnes herself turns from melee into a mid-range character.

It's a really packed Ultimate that can change the flow of the battle, especially since it's very cheap - only costs 3 Bloodsoul to use. It's strong both in PVE and PVP, as the pull will prevent enemies from using their skills and make them an easy target for the DPS character going after Agnes.

When it comes to the Special, we have already explained the enhanced version of it. The normal one activates every 3 Basic Attacks and deals damage to enemies in a wide area around the target. On top of that, it also provides Agnes with a Shield that will help her survive longer on the frontline.

Lastly, her Talent is a pretty simple one - whenever her skill hits three or more enemies, her damage dealt will increase by 30%.

Overall, Agnes is a very unique Crescent Moon character that can both act as a setup enabler for the DPS of your choice (preferably a Physical attacker due to the P. DEF down debuff) or as secondary DPS with some utility in her kit. And since her Ultimate cost is really low, it's easy to slot her in various teams. Just keep in mind that she's a melee character, and while the shield that comes from her Special gives her some survivability, in a bigger deficit, she might have issues staying alive.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • The first character that can gather enemies in one spot,

  • Can prevent enemies from using their skills,

  • P. DEF shred,

  • Cheap Ultimate, making it easier to slot her into your teams.

Cons

  • Melee character - in bigger deficits, you have to keep her alive in some way or she will explode like any non-tank character,

  • Since her Ultimate debuff only helps Physical damage dealers, it limits her synergy with Magic characters (like T. Aiona, so the current best DPS).

Skill Investment

The numbers in the skill levels are placed in this order: Basic / Special / Ultimate. You can find more information about the colors in the section below.

Here's the explanation for all the numbers and colors used in the guide:

  • 10/5/7 means upgrading Basic to lvl 10, Special to lvl 5, and Ultimate to lvl 7,
  • Blue means the immediate investment when u get the unit (and are using them),
  • Orange means recommended investment for F2P players,
  • Red means maximum recommended investment, in order to get the best out of the unit.

More info:

  • The skill investment list below features a lot of Level 4 and 7 because they are easier to understand. Any higher levels will cost a new type of resource.
  • However, you may choose to upgrade to Level 5 if you need a stronger effect instead of 4, as the increase in Blue Manual cost from Level 4 to 5 is still low. The leap only starts from Level 6 onward.
  • There is also a leap from Level 3 to 4, so if you want to save a tiny bit of Blue Manuals, then leave at 3 instead of 4.

Priority explained:

  • Meta: Most important characters used everywhere.
  • High: Good in various PvE content.
  • Medium: Good in at least one PvE content.
  • Low: Can perform well in some PVE content, but they're niche.
  • PvP: These units are mainly used in PvP.
