Alexi is the second Oathsworn added for the Synergy system. She is an AOE DPS that belongs to Dusk Devotion, along with Livian, Lamia, Dalcarlo, Cain, and Limine, which features Magic Damage vassals. This synergy applies the regular synergy buffs, along with Lifesteal, and increases the duration of Blood Moon State to 6 seconds. Her combat potential is rather gimmicky, and she requires to be partnered with Livian. She is primarily made to deal with Tomb of the Fallen - Haunted Sepulcher Temple of Light, as it features high Defense adds, which she and Livian have the prowess to buff themselves against with Magic Defense Penetration.

Now, let's dive into her kit to see how she actually works.

Starting with her Talent, it mainly revolves around her synergy. All Dusk Devotion vassals will have the ability to overflow their maximum HP by converting excess healing into Phantom Blood and this can go up to 100% of their Max HP. Think of it as another defensive layer on top of your vassals HP, with Shield being still on top of it. So far, only Alexi can consume her own Phantom Blood to trigger a special effect, which we will discuss in a bit.

Moving on, we have her Basic Attack, which is a fairly common single-target attack that does Magic Damage. It has a pretty high scaling compared to other single-target Sorcerers.

Next is her special, an AOE skill that procs after every 3 Basic Attacks. This works great against enemies that are clumped together in a radius.

Lastly is her Ultimate, an AOE skill in the shape of a cone. It is quite thin but has a long range and is capable of increasing its damage when Phantom Blood's capacity is at least 90% which then consumes all Phantom Blood in the process. She also gains stacks of Scarlet Shade, which buffs Magic Defense Penetration by 5% each stack; this can go up to 9 stacks.

Overall, Alexi will be a powerhouse as long as you bring Livian with her. Investing in her will be important if you want to clear Floor 4 or 5 of the Temple of Light, as she is the only one who can properly utilize the Magic Defense Penetration that Livian also provides. PVP-wise, she enables Livian's passive that offers an instant Blood Moon state when Livian uses her Ultimate. Additionally, all allied Dusk Devotion vassals get Damage Reduction effects.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Incredible wave-clearing capabilities thanks to her Ultimate and Special.

  • She can be a strong contender for scoring high on Night of the Hunt stages that feature killing as many enemies as possible.

  • Enables a synergy that can extend Blood Moon duration.

  • Provides an additional defense layer for Dusk Devotion Vassals.

Cons

  • Extremely tied to Livian, as her Ultimate will lose effectiveness vice versa to Livian's Talent.

  • Made to deal with gimmicks.

Skill Investment

The numbers in the skill levels are placed in this order: Basic / Special / Ultimate. You can find more information about the colors in the section below.

Here's the explanation for all the numbers and colors used in the guide:

  • 10/5/7 means upgrading Basic to lvl 10, Special to lvl 5, and Ultimate to lvl 7,
  • Blue means the immediate investment when u get the unit (and are using them),
  • Orange means recommended investment for F2P players,
  • Red means maximum recommended investment, in order to get the best out of the unit.

More info:

  • The skill investment list below features a lot of Level 4 and 7 because they are easier to understand. Any higher levels will cost a new type of resource.
  • However, you may choose to upgrade to Level 5 if you need a stronger effect instead of 4, as the increase in Blue Manual cost from Level 4 to 5 is still low. The leap only starts from Level 6 onward.
  • There is also a leap from Level 3 to 4, so if you want to save a tiny bit of Blue Manuals, then leave at 3 instead of 4.

Priority explained:

  • Meta: Most important characters used everywhere.
  • High: Good in various PvE content.
  • Medium: Good in at least one PvE content.
  • Low: Can perform well in some PVE content, but they're niche.
  • PvP: These units are mainly used in PvP.

The Recommended and Flex stats listed below aren't placed in specific order. We may order them in the future once we have a better understanding of the damage formula, but currently the order does not matter.
