Lucille is an Enchanter part of the Lunar Vigil synergy. She focuses greatly on debuffs and her playstyle is mainly leaning towards PVP, but as part of the Lunar Vigil synergy, she is still viable for PVE usage, mainly for high-level raids. She can apply a unique debuff called Dreamscape, which can reduce the Hit Rate and Crit Rate of those who are affected.

Now let's talk about her kit. For the skills;

  • Starting with her Basic Attack, this is a Ranged attack that deals Magic Damage to the target and also hits enemies that are affected by Dreamscape. This gives her decent coverage on hitting multiple enemies at once.

  • Next is her Special, which is an AoE skill that triggers every four Basic Attacks. This deals a chunk of Magic Damage in a small radius around the target and applies the Dreamscape debuff.

  • Moving on, we have her Ultimate, which allows her to deal a strong AOE damage to a selected area in a circle and inflicts Dreamscape. In any case, if the aforementioned target(s) is/are already affected by Dreamscape, she will now inflict Delirium instead. Delirium is a debuff that increases the affected target’s Ultimate Bloodsoul cost by 2. This debuff is also persistent; therefore, purifying it will be impossible.

  • Lastly, her Talent, she applies CRIT DMG Taken Down (Moderate) to all Lunar Vigil allies present on the field, and she also gains Mirage stack whenever Dreamscape or Delirium is expired/removed from any enemies affected by the debuffs. Mirage is a self-buff that increases ATK and DEF stat by 5%; this buff can reach up to five stacks.

Now for her Resonantia Effects;

  • R1 Final Gamble creates a tile in front of her. This tile will provide additional ATK at the cost of consuming HP. This Resonantia effect is hard to ignore as the ATK buff is permanent and can range from 10% to 15% depending on her current heirloom vault level. This is great for Joan [Ethereal] for example, given that it can almost instantly trigger her Thunderflow, making her deal more damage at the cost of less survival rate.

  • R3 Blood Memory gives her more HP, increases All DMG Reduction and Crit Resist Rate.

  • R5 Jinx, whenever she inflicts Dreamscape, she also stuns the target(s) for 3 secs. Keep in mind that her Ultimate will only inflict Dreamscape if the target isn’t affected by it, so only her Special will be able to trigger the stun. Building ATK SPD for echo lines will be ideal if you have this activated.

  • R7 Fate Untold allows her to inflict Dreamscape at the start of battle towards two enemies, one for the highest and one for the lowest HP. This can also trigger the stun from her R5.

  • R9 Severance increases HP, ATK, Physical and Magical Defense.

Overall, Lucille is a PVP-oriented enchanter. As a part of the synergy, she can be an effective enabler of the synergy’s mechanic of increasing damage potency depending on the number of debuffs inflicted on the enemy. In the PVP use case, it's easy to understand how viable the Delirium debuff actually is, as this can destroy Ultimate cycles of the entire enemy team. In the PVE use case, it's not so great unless you have her R1, which gives additional ATK. This can be a good stopping point for most competitive PVE players, primarily for Clan Hunt, as its level is capped. In the future, in case the remaining 3rd or 4th gear dungeon unlocks that are oriented for the Lunar Vigil team, then you might want to actually consider pulling for her dupes.

Pros & Cons
Pros

  • Incredible PVP performance, by being able to apply a variety of debuffs.

  • Has great AOE coverage, making the application of her debuffs easier.

  • Buffs allied Lunar Vigil with CRIT DMG Taken Down to counter Crit-Oriented Teams.

Cons

  • Requires R1 minimum, ideally to be PVE viable.

Skill Investment

The numbers in the skill levels are placed in this order: Basic / Special / Ultimate. You can find more information about the colors in the section below.

Here's the explanation for all the numbers and colors used in the guide:

  • 10/5/7 means upgrading Basic to lvl 10, Special to lvl 5, and Ultimate to lvl 7,
  • Blue means the immediate investment when u get the unit (and are using them),
  • Orange means recommended investment for F2P players,
  • Red means maximum recommended investment, in order to get the best out of the unit.

More info:

  • The skill investment list below features a lot of Level 4 and 7 because they are easier to understand. Any higher levels will cost a new type of resource.
  • However, you may choose to upgrade to Level 5 if you need a stronger effect instead of 4, as the increase in Blue Manual cost from Level 4 to 5 is still low. The leap only starts from Level 6 onward.
  • There is also a leap from Level 3 to 4, so if you want to save a tiny bit of Blue Manuals, then leave at 3 instead of 4.

Priority explained:

  • Meta: Most important characters used everywhere.
  • High: Good in various PvE content.
  • Medium: Good in at least one PvE content.
  • Low: Can perform well in some PVE content, but they're niche.
  • PvP: These units are mainly used in PvP.

The Recommended and Flex stats listed below aren't placed in specific order. We may order them in the future once we have a better understanding of the damage formula, but currently the order does not matter.
