The yellow color shows the Primary Attribute and the green Secondary Attribute. Both of those attributes, on top of their normal bonuses, provide additional ATK to the character.
Hypothermic Assault
An attack with up to 3 sequences that deals Physical DMG. As the controlled operator, Final Strike also deals 23 Stagger.
Basic attack performed in mid-air becomes a dive attack that deals Physical DMG to nearby enemies.
Basic attack performed near a Staggered enemy becomes a finisher attack that deals massive Physical DMG and recovers some SP.
[Final Strike]: Final Strike is the last sequence of Basic Attack. When the controlled operator's Final Strike hits the enemy, it also deals Stagger and restores some Skill Points (SP).
Saturated Defense
SP Cost: 100
[Cryo Infliction]: Cryo Infliction is a type of Arts Infliction. Up to 4 stacks of Cryo Infliction can be applied and stacking triggers Cryo Burst. A non-Cryo Infliction + Cryo Infliction = Solidification.
[Protection]: Protected targets temporarily take reduced DMG. The number represents the degree of reduction. When there are multiple effects of the same type, only the most powerful applies.
[SP Return]: After spending SP and meeting certain criteria, some of the SP spent will be returned. SP Return is not SP Recovery and do not activate SP Recovery-triggered effects. Spending returned SP also does not gain Ultimate Energy.
Polar Rescue
Cooldown: 23s
Trigger: When controlled operator gets attacked and is below 60% HP.
Frigid Snowfield
Energy cost: 80
[Solidification]: An enemy with Solidification cannot move, and applying Vulnerability or a Physical Status to the enemy triggers the Shatter effect. A non-Cryo Infliction + Cryo Infliction = Solidification.

"Wind speed's okay. Visibility's good. Perfect weather for snowboarding."
Snowshine is a Rhodes Island operator assigned to Endfield Industries where she serves as a search and rescue (SAR) professional under the framework agreement between the two companies.
For well-known reasons, the true polar regions of Talos-II remain off-limits to humanity. However, as frontier expansion resumes, professionals like Snowshine who specialize in the geography of polar and high-altitude regions are in growing demand within the Civilization Band. Because of the significant talent gap, Snowshine and her rescue team are always faced with a busy schedule, even on days with no special missions.
Despite her packed schedule, she managed to write a book titled Polar Survival Guide in her free time. The book has since become a key reference for survival and SAR operations in the harsh, snowy environments of Talos-II.

Umbral Monument
Combo has great up-front full team healing and applies a heal over time.
Ultimate forcibly applies Solidification in an AoE without the need to worry about Inflictions.
Combo can be activated in any team.
Using Battle Skill protects allies and parries enemy attacks, applying Cryo Infliction.
On-demand Protection from Battle Skill makes some support sets easy to maintain uptime on.
Successful parries with Battle Skill return a portion of the SP spent to use it.
She’s free!
Despite the Combo being universally usable, it requires the team to be low on HP to trigger.
Cryo Infliction from Battle Skill isn’t instantly applied and is conditional, making it tough to rely on for core combos.
Snowshine is a 5-star, Cryo, Great Sword Survivalist, specialised in full team healing and Protection, who also has a dash of synergy with Cryo and Solidification themed playstyles. Snowshine is perfectly viable in any team that needs help surviving, as long as you’re okay with giving up some potential damage.
What makes Snowshine a standout operator for sustain is her generically usable Combo Skill, which heals the whole team for a large amount while also applying a heal over time on them as well. This, plus the fact that it only requires the controlled operator be hit when they’re at 60% hp or lower, makes Snowshine an easy slot in for survival if you’re in need.
Outside of sustain the other reasons you may want to bring Snowshine along are firstly for her Battle Skill, which allows her to enter a counterstance that protects allies for a short period, then if struck, causes her to counterattack, refunding SP and applying Cryo Infliction. This ability gives her a niche within Cryo teams that value Cryo Infliction, lets her use a wider range of supportive gear sets/weapons, and also gives you one more defensive tool to rely on. The second reason you might look to include Snowshine is her Ultimate, which forcibly applies Solidification in a wide area on use, opening up synergies for characters that revolve around it and reaction-based gameplay.
Snowshine is a capable healer with a bag of tricks that allows her to punch above her weight in certain teams that can take advantage of her specialties.
Snowshine’s combo skill is the backbone of her sustain capabilities and is easily triggerable in all teams, making it a potent universal tool you can slot into any composition if you’re having trouble staying alive. To activate it, all you’ll need is to take a hit on your controlled operator while below 60% HP - a mostly trivial task to achieve, given that the main time you’ll want to activate the combo is when you’re low on life and just took a hit.
On activation provides a huge chunk of healing to the whole team while also applying a heal over time for 3 seconds, which heals even more. Coupled with talents, gear, and weapons, this combo can easily top off the team every time it’s up.
Snowshine’s battle skill is certainly less universally useful than her combo skill, but in some teams is still just as useful. Using it causes her to immediately refund a portion of the spent SP and enter an immobile parry state, which applies Protection to her and all nearby operators while it lasts. While in this state, when Snowshine is hit, she’ll immediately counterattack, applying Cryo Infliction while also dealing some Cryo damage and a bit of Stagger.
In teams that value Cryo Infliction, this is a highly SP-efficient way to inflict it while also netting excellent defensive and supportive benefits. The main downside of this skill compared to other sources of Cryo Infliction is the fact that it’s contingent on Snowshine getting hit, something which can’t always be achieved as quickly or precisely as you may want it. Overall, a niche but powerful ability.
Snowshine’s Ultimate isn’t usually the main reason to bring her to a team, but is nonetheless a useful ability across the board for all teams while also being highly synergistic for a select few. Using it costs a manageable 80 energy and immediately summons an AoE Blizzard around your target, which forcibly applies Solidification to all enemies in its radius while also dealing a small amount of ticking Cryo Damage every 0.5 seconds it's active.
This ability is useful in teams that value Solidification as a resource or combo skill trigger, but is also still valuable in teams that don't, thanks to the stun-like effect it has on smaller enemies. Using this ability in a pack of monsters will take a lot of them out of commission for a short burst of time.
Snowshine's talents are both useful, but each is incredibly simple.
Her first talent, Polar Survival, increases her Treatment Effect by 25% against targets below 55% HP, boosting overall healing output notably against allies who need it most. Makes topping off the team after a big set of hits easier.
Note: This talent's effects are incredibly likely to activate on the controlled operator as Snowshine’s combo can only trigger when they’re at 60% HP or lower and attacked.
Her other talent, SAR Professional, improves her Battle Skill counters. Now, when successfully retaliating, Snowshine will also gain an additional 10 Ultimate energy. In teams where Snowshine actively uses her Battle Skill to counter enemies, this talent is a nice improvement to her Ultimate access, granting the team better force Solidification access, which may or may not be useful to the team you're running.
Not all of Snowshine’s abilities will be useful to every team. With that in mind, here is what to look out for when playing her:
Use Combo Skill when available to recover health and keep the team topped off
In teams that don’t make use of its bonus effects, activate Ultimate as soon as available to inflict a good amount of Stagger and damage. Or in teams that rely on Solidification, you can save it for specific synergistic moments instead. Last but not least, you can hold on to it to use it as a form of AoE crowd control to freeze multiple enemies at once, making attacking and surviving easier while it lasts.
Snowshine’s Battle Skill can also optionally be used to protect the team and counter enemy abilities. Some teams will also value the Cryo Infliction; this ability applies, making it more of a mainstay in their compositions.

Stat 1 Boost - 9/9
Will: +156
Stat 2 Boost - 9/9
Max HP: +78.00%
Passive Boost - 4/9
This weapon has an overwhelming amount of defensive passive stats and boosts healing as well. Its Weapon Effect causes Snowshine's protection on Battle Skill to trigger an additional heal if she's hit while it's active, boosting her sustain capabilities slightly.
Stat 1 Boost - 9/9
Strength: +156
Stat 2 Boost - 9/9
Max HP: +78.00%
Passive Boost - 4/9
Ember's signature grants a large amount of passive defensive stats, one of which is an increase to shielding, which Snowshine can't really use. However, to make up for this, Snowshine can use the Weapon Effect, which adds a new effect to her Combo Skill. Now, when she heals with Combo Skill, she also applies a Shield to the Controlled Operator equal to a % of Snowshine's max HP.
Stat 1 Boost - 9/9
Strength: +124
Stat 2 Boost - 9/9
Ultimate Gain Eff.: +37.10%
Passive Boost - 9/9
Main Attribute: +14.00%
This weapon's Weapon Effect isn't usable by Snowshine, but the passive stats, including Energy Regen, still make it a viable option if you value more Ultimates in a fight over more defensive weapon effects listed above.
Stat 1 Boost - 9/9
Strength: +93
Stat 2 Boost - 9/9
Attack: +23.40%
Passive Boost - 9/9
Last resort option if you're lacking any of the choices above. Has the correct passive stats, but all at much lower base values, setting it significantly behind all other choices.

Flat HP +1000. When the wearer applies Amp, Protected, Susceptible, or Weakened, other teammates also gain DMG Dealt +16% for 15s. This effect cannot stack.
When using Snowshine for Cryo Infliction, her Skill has a cheap SP cost and can apply Protection to activate the Set Bonus. If you don't need the defensive utility from LYNX (especially if your team includes another Sustain) and there are no other viable holders of this set, then it is her best option.
Note: This build is focused mainly on Ultimate Gain Efficiency first, Healing Output second. If you want to invest more into Healing Output or her personal damage, check out the alternative gears listed below.

Treatment Bonus +20%. When the wearer treats an allied target, the target also gains 15% DMG Reduction against all types of DMG for 10s. If the said treatment excees the target's Max HP, the target gains 30% DMG Reduction against all types of DMG. The aforementioned effects cannot stack.
Boosts the overall output of Snowshine's Healing while also granting her and the team a potent defensive 3P Set Bonus, which aids in the survival of the team. Running this set-up also fits in some additional energy for quicker Ultimate access.

Causes all allies with Protection to gain Arts Infliction immunity while Snowshine is blocking with her Battle Skill. A unique effect, but one which doesn’t directly improve Snowshine’s general performance. Offers niche benefits that can counter certain enemies, but won't always be noticeable or useful. Also held back by the fact that some teams don’t use Snowshine’s Battle Skill at all.
Increases the radius of Snowshine’s Ultimate by 20%, increasing the odds she’ll catch more enemies within it, afflicting them with Solidification. Nice for locking up enemies across a wider area of the battlefield, plus the extra Solidification can also be useful for teams that scale around them.
Raises the duration of the Solidification Snowshine applies with her Ultimate by 2 seconds, improving it from 5 to 7. Upgrades the control elements of Snowshine’s Ultimate against weaker enemies and also grants more time for allies to interact with each Solidification, whether that be to Shatter them or other synergies.
A small boost to DEF and Will, resulting in a small increase to total healing output and survivability, but nothing game-changing.
Boosts the amount of SP returned on successful retaliation when using Snowshine’s Battle Skill by another 10, bringing the refund to 60. Makes Snowshine’s signature defensive ability, Cryo application, and Protection much more efficient in teams that use it, marking it as a notable upgrade when it’s actually able to be utilized.

Snowshine's kit is useful across a wide range of teams, and whenever you're in need of a boost to your survivability, it's completely fine to trade out some damage or buffs to bring her along instead. Here's why she's so good:
