Beat Performer - Introduction

Beat Performer is one of the classes available in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance. They fulfill the Support role while wielding a Guitar as their weapon of choice. Beat Performer has access to two specs - Dissonance and Concerto. Below you can find a summary of both, showing their strong and weak sides, how they play and more.

Dissonance
Dissonance Spec

Dissonance’s primary mechanic is healing a portion of all damage dealt, which when combined with the fact that it is able to output damage equal to a good portion of a dedicated damage dealer, allows it to fulfill the role of sustain while also bringing tremendous damage buffs to the group. Dissonance is played much like a damage dealer, focused on maximizing damage that heals by accident.

The trade-off for all this is that the class loses much of its ranged capabilities, with many of its best abilities requiring you to hit a target in melee range. In addition to all this, it also provides 10-30% increased resilience break efficiency and 15% increased damage against broken enemies. If you want to compete with damage dealers for rank 1 while also offering crazy support, Dissonance is a top choice.

Concerto
Concerto Spec

Concerto is Beat Performers' dedicated healing spec that has one of the most powerful party-wide buffs in the game, which is capable of granting 16–32% of the Performer's total Intelligence to allies as their main stat - 2000 Intelligence is 320-640 stats for the whole team. This fact alone secures Concerto’s position in large groups where multiple healers are required, but also makes it a compelling choice in smaller group sizes as well.

Concerto Spec can also uniquely deploy a speaker capable of duplicating all healing you use - timing and positioning this speaker are key to success. However, in the early game without abundant stats, this is incredibly difficult to do well.

Special Attack

Amplified Beat

Instantly releases a powerful sonic wave, dealing Magic Damage to nearby enemies. Heals nearby allies and grants a Shield that decays over time. The Shield decays every 0.5s, lasting for 10s. Doubles the Performance Passion cap and fully restores Performance Passion.

[Shield]: Extra HP shield, which can absorb damage before HP.

Each instance of DMG dealt by Amplified Beat (only once per multi-target hit) increases the hit count of Harmonic Anthem by 1, up to 3.

Rhapsody of Flame

My Passion Still Burns! Consumes 5 points of Performance Passion to summon a randomly shaped graffiti on the ground, healing 10 allies (Party Members Prioritized), dispelling negative effects on them, and dealing Magic Damage to enemies within range.
While standing within the graffiti, the summoner gains 10% Fire Bonus.

Heroic Melody

A rousing melody. When Performance Energy exceeds 15 stacks, you can begin the performance, which cannot be stopped once started. CD: 5s.
While Heroic Melody is being performed, 6 Performance Energy is consumed per second, and every 3s, 10 allies restore HP (Interval affected by Haste).
While Heroic Melody is being performed, every 7s, your String Strike transforms into Fierce Strike. While Heroic Melody is being performed, the conversion rate of Peaceful Tune +50%.
Multipliers:
  • Single Healing: 28% MATK +80

[Performance Energy]: Required to play Melody skills (Heroic Melody and Healing Melody). 1 point of energy is regenerated per second.

[Fierce Strike]: Swings your guitar with force, dealing Magic Damage equal to 300% ATK to nearby enemies. Harmonic Anthem instantly gains 1 stack of Overdrive. Scales with the Level/Tier of Basic Attack.

Expertise 4

Healing Melody

A soothing melody. When Performance Energy is above 15, you can start the performance freely and stop at will. Each time you start, a speaker is deployed to perform a Concerto (Speaker disappears when Healing Melody ends). CD: 5s.
While performing Healing Melody, consumes 3 Performance Energy per second, and heals 10 allies every 1 second (Interval affected by Haste).

[Performance Energy]: Required to play Melody skills (Heroic Melody and Healing Melody). 1 point of energy is regenerated per second.

Passion Burst

Charging changes the skill's range and DMG.
Tier 1: Chants for 0.7s, affects a fan-shaped area with an 8-meter radius in front.
Tier 2: Chants for 1.4s, affects a fan-shaped area with an 8-meter radius in front, increases the DMG dealt by 50%.
Tier 3: Chants for 2.1s, affects a fan-shaped area with an 8-meter radius in front, increases the DMG dealt by 100%.

  • CD: 20s

[Encore: Super Armor]: Each time an offensive or healing Expertise Skill is cast, there is a 50% fixed chance to trigger Encore Strings once, dealing DMG to the current target or healing the lowest-HP ally (Allies prioritized).

Center Stage

Increases your MATK for some time and amplifies the next skill you cast.
Special Attack: Your next 2 Special Attacks do not consume Performance Passion.
  • Fivefold Crescendo: Doubles the healing instances.
  • Heroic Melody: Halves the time needed to trigger Fierce Strike.
  • Harmonic Anthem: Doubles the DMG dealt.
  • Passion Burst: Allows for direct cast in its strongest form, no chanting required.
Multipliers:
  • MATK Up: 8% + 80
  • Duration: 15s
  • CD: 0.5s
  • Charge Time: 60s

Maintain Healing Melody to passively heal while consuming your Performance Energy. Press the skill again to unsummon it before moving out of range of it to conserve resources.
