Review
Lumi is a Burst DPS Knight - her kit focuses on dealing sustained damage through fast basic attacks, active skill cooldown resets, debuffs and attack speed buffing while also amplifying the damage of her ultimate.
Lumi’s Passive 1 applies a stack of Charge (Maximum 30) and Zap (Maximum 3 when she uses Basic Attacks and Skills. 30 stacks of Charge are consumed to empower her Ultimate, which deals bonus damage and stuns all enemies while giving her a massive ATK speed buff. 3 stacks of Zap are consumed to deal bonus damage and reduce the cooldown of her Active Skill. Her Active Skill deals AOE damage and applies Shock and a bonus Damage Taken debuff. Her Passive 2 increases her party’s ATK% while increasing her Critical Hit Rate and ATK speed.
Lumi’s kit is multi-purpose - being able to amplify her own damage output while contributing to party damage output through her debuffs and party buff. While she will likely be a strong main damage contributor in the Jormungandr raid, her party utility is solid enough (especially her Shock DoT, which is far more potent than most other shock characters) that she can easily slot in as a support for other raids. Lumi’s current positioning in the meta draws a strong parallel to Estheria and Morgan Le Fay - she will likely be a strong piece for an incoming Knight meta which should start with the upcoming new Kay in July.
In the meantime, Lumi is a fantastic unit to have with minimal weak points, but if you are on the fence, wait for news on the upcoming Anniversary before you commit.
Lumi’s card, Big Boss, is essentially the melee version of Cristina’s card, Rose Flame. It is a solid support card for both supports and DPS alike, but does lose out to Cristina's card in terms of utility as a card for healers.
Self-sufficient kit with solid output and party utility.
Easily fits in many different raid comps.
Squishy Melee DPS.
