Introduction
Museum is a mode where you fight old Solo Raid bosses for some rewards. The rewards are divided into 2 categories
Challenge the old top 1 (must be completed first). This reward is valuable and should be pushed as soon as possible because it gives Dolls/Treasure materials.
Reaching as high a score as possible (No limit mode). This mode is real endgame content, which gives whales and veterans something to play. The reward is not really worth the effort and investment you spend, but it is what it is.
Since the mechanics of the 2 categories are the same, with just different stats, you can use the same 5 teams to play in both.
To check the reward of each boss, please click here because each boss has different conditions and rewards.
Challenge the Old Top 1
This is the first mode you have to finish in order to open the No Limit mode later. The interface will look like this.
You have to draft 5 teams and deal total damage higher than the Old Top 1; in this example, Kira at 8.8b damage. In this mode, everything will be exactly like Solo Raid
All Nikkes are locked at Sync 400; they can’t be higher or lower.
You draft 5 Distinct teams, and the final damage is the total of 5 teams.
Boss has a weakness in elemental, just like the old Solo Raid version of it.
But to make it a bit easier, each boss will provide a small buff - The “Increase Shotgun Damage” right next to Weak Point. Sometimes those buffs matter; sometimes they are whatever.
The buff of Crystal Chamber
Do note that this is not Solo Raid, which means you can try as many times as you want until you can beat the top 1 ’s score.
No Limit
By the time you have a higher score than the old top 1, the interface will change again, which unlocks the No Limit mode.
In this mode, you will challenge the boss to reach the highest STEP per team. It’s different from Solo Raid, where you just try to maximize 5 teams' damage. In No Limit mode, damage is divided into Steps (or milestones).
If your damage surpasses a milestone, your team will be registered as “step N” even if you only surpass 1 damage.
If your damage lacks 1 dmg to reach the next milestone, your team will be registered as “step N-1”.
Each time you surpass a milestone, the boss will increase in stat (ATK/HP/Def)
Your sync won’t be locked, which means a sync 1000 player will reach higher steps easier than a sync 400 player.
Which means the strategy is not just maximizing the team's damage. It’s maximizing the team’s steps.
Let’s pretend team 1 is lacking 10% damage to reach step 4, while team 2 lacks 50% to reach step 7. The final score is currently
Team 1: 10% to reach step 4 = Step 3
Team 2: 50% to reach step 7 = Step 6.
Total steps: 3 + 6 = 9.
By switching members between 2 teams, you may reach this result.
Team 1: 10% to reach step 5 = Step 4.
Team 2: 10% to reach step 7 = Step 6
Total steps: 4 + 6 = 10.
The milestones of No Limit mode are divided by 20, which means every total step is 20 - 40 - 60 - 80 - … you will receive a reward. Anything not reaching those milestones won’t provide any rewards.
For example, Harvester 17/20 is pointless.
Reaching milestones will provide points, which are accumulated to rank your account here.
Also, only in No Limit mode, you can have 2 different global buffs
The challenge buff as same as Challenge old top 1
The weekly buff, which is rotated every week.
Playing around those buffs may help you reach higher steps than without them.
Also, in Museum mode, there’s a pretty cool QoL. You can keep your best score and only fix certain teams instead (note that Nikkes in the selected team will be unavailable since you have already “used” them).
We keep teams 1 and 2 here.
Nikkes in teams 1 and 2 will be unavailable, but you start at step 7 and can do another 3 teams.
