Review
Ms. Stranger’s entire kit revolves around empowering Special Active Incantation, which is treated as an Ultimate:
She generates a special Versatile card, “A Moth to a Flame,” at the leftmost side of the spelldock.
This card cannot be cast until it reaches the rightmost side of the spelldock, and it gains bonuses depending on the card type used by the team (e.g., Heal, Debuff, Channel, etc.).
Once it reaches the rightmost side of the spelldock, it becomes unlocked and can be cast for 0AP which unleashes a nuke upon the enemy.
Her ultimate, “Implanted Memories,” gives her increased personal damage while giving her “Silent Flutter” stacks, which allows multiple casts of “A Moth to a Flame” the next time she attacks.
Her S1, “Cocoon Breaker,” allows her special card to move multiple times towards the right while giving it extra bonuses, while her S2, “Phototactic Instinct,” inflicts a debuff on the enemy that causes them to take more damage from her special card.
In short, her gameplay loop can be summarized to:
Use her team’s cards as fast as possible to let her special card reach the rightmost part of the spelldock;
Gather enough Moxie for Ms. Stranger during this process;
Use her Ultimate and her S2 and then unleash her special card to do her nuke;
Rinse and repeat.
Due to the nature of her kit, Ms. Stranger works best with support units who can quickly draw, discard, and cycle through their cards to expedite the unlocking of her special card, while also providing buffs to Ultimate and Incantation Might as she scales on both stats.
The Dynamo Wheelchair consisting of
Charon and
Enigma is an obvious choice: Pulsing Field Level 3 cycling provides a steady gameplay rhythm for Ms. Stranger, which usually aligns with her burst window;
Charon, Enigma, and PF3 provide tons of offensive (de)buffs while providing good survivability;
Charon’s ability to discard his cards and let the ally in front of him cast their ult for 0AP lets Ms. Stranger reach her burst window faster;
The 3.7 limited unit
Rhiannon is another top pick: she can quickly cycle through her cards for 0AP, provides powerful (de)buffs, and constantly casts both buff and debuff cards to charge Ms. Stranger’s special card;
Lopera with her Euphoria is a decent partner for Ms. Stranger since she provides great crit buffs while quickly shuffling through her cards;
Recoleta at P1 with her Euphoria is a surprisingly good pick for Ms. Stranger since her "Flood of Fiction" allows Ms. Stranger to gain multiple “Silent Flutter” stacks that can lead to a pseudo nuke;
Ritual buffers like
Moldir and
Melania are decent choices to pair with Ms. Stranger;
Pickles provides great buffing for Mineral units, and thus is a decent choice for buffing Ms. Stranger, so long as she’s positioned in front of him.
TL;DR: Pick units that can remove their own cards while also providing good Ritual-based buffing.
BiS - Charon, Enigma, Rhiannon.
Good substitutes - Recoleta, Lopera, Moldir, Melania, Pickles, Mercuria, 6.
Special card costs 0 AP.
Frontloaded damage, great for clearing stages.
Not strictly locked to one archetype, granting access to flexible team compositions.
Her best team is the Dynamo Wheelchair, but she isn’t a Dynamo unit herself.
Her damage ceiling doesn’t scale as high as other dedicated archetype DPS units.
Her gameplay loop requires a bit of reading and understanding.
Stats and Build
Ms. Stranger Resonance Pattern tips aren't available yet. They will be added soon!

Until I Am Me -
Ms. Stranger ’s signature chube. The best choice for Ms. Stranger as it gives her valuable crit-related stats, as well as a mixture of both Ultimate Might and Incantation Might.
Never-Ending Q&A -
Hissabeth ’s signature chube. This is a decent alternative since Ms. Stranger satisfies both the 1-Target and Mass Ultimate via “Implanted Memories” and “A Moth to aFlame,” granting boosts to her Ultimate Might and Critical Damage.
Brave New World - A generic psychube that can be used when running her with Recoleta, who allows her to stack both “Silent Flutter” and this psychube’s effect, letting her do a big chunk of damage on the first “A Moth to a Flame” cast post-stacking.
Long Night Talk -
Spathodea ’s signature chube. Another decent generalist option. Her ultimate counts as a Buff for the purpose of this chube, giving her a healthy amount of Attack. The stacking can be further sped up if run with
Recoleta.
