Lancelot is a Tanky DPS that scales off her HP and uses her kit to constantly fire off her Active and Ultimate Skills. Her Ultimate skill deals massive damage to all enemies and resets the cooldown of her Active Skill to 1 second. Her Active Skill deals AoE damage to all enemies, heals her HP and grants a buff that increases the damage of her Ultimate skill. Her 1st Passive grants her bonus Crit Chance (max 20 stacks) and lowers the cooldown of her Ultimate skill when she’s attacking with her active and normal attacks. Her 2nd Passive increases the potency of any equipped Equipment Main Stats by 160%.

Lancelot is the game’s first HP scaling DPS, and dominated the meta for months after her release. She had little raid presence but was a very dominant HP tank DPS hybrid that could carry PvE stages with sufficient support. With a fast and spammable AOE ultimate and active skill, Lancelot can easily cut through waves and deal respectable DPS to bosses, while soaking and recovering from hits.

Fast forward to July, and her present form is unable to keep up with the current big players in the PvE meta. Her kit has not changed, but everything else has caught up and even exceeded her. The changes to PvP have also diminished Lancelot’s ability to burst down enemy teams with her incredibly fast Ultimate. Lancelot’s damage and limited content coverage just doesn’t cut it at this point in time to justify building her.

Lancelot’s Card Clumsy Affection is primarily used by only Lancelot herself. It increases your Critical Damage by up to 60% when at 10% or higher HP. Its Stat Lines increase the user’s Max HP and make the user’s attacks ignore the enemy character (s) ' Damage Reduction, further improving damage.

While it is a decent option to invest in, it is not a priority over Lancelot Transcendence levels.

Bulky DPS with good AOE damage. Any upgrades to her HP scale both her defense and offense.
FREE Swimsuit Skin.
Only unit to have breathing animations in her defeat motion.

Synergies

Dian Cecht - Currently Lancelot’s best in slot offensive Healer. While Lancelot cannot scale off Dian’s massive Attack buff, she still enjoys Dian’s Additional DMG and Critical Damage buffs, on top of the shield, heals and damage reduction buffs.
Erin - Erin fits in like a glove in the HP scaling Lancelot carry comp, providing both Additional Damage (which Lancelot can scale offensively off) and an absolutely massive shield.
Isabel - Provides Party wide Critical Damage buff and applies a Critical Hit Resist shred. The hit immunity on her Ultimate comes in clutch.
Cowqueen Belsey - Belsey also scales off HP like Lancelot, making it very easy to set up a party where both frontliners are also solid DPS characters. Her debuffs are also very relevant to Lancelot's damage.

Cards

Holy Sword's Blessing (Ethan) - Grants HP%, which Lancelot scales offensive and defensively off, as well as a one-time Resist Death and temporary Invincibility Passive. The go-to Tank card for pushing high level deficit maps.
Elgrad Sword Art Journal (Lua) - One of the best generic cards, offering Active Cooldown reset, massive Critical Damage and Additional Damage, all stats that Lancelot scale off. Best used once you reach effective 50%+ Critical Hit Rate via equipment and buffs.
Clumsy Lover (Lancelot) - Provides Lancelot with everything she would want. HP scaling, Ignore Damage Reduction, and Critical Hit Damage.
Princess of Smiles (Erin) - Provides HP main stat with a party wide Attack/Defense buff, simultaneously providing bonus healing, survivability and offense.

Comments

Should you have none of those cards, any card that grants HP%, Critical Damage, Additional Damage, Attack speed or Critical Hit Rate would work.
