Silverwing Eagle is Reverse: 1999’s first foray into alter characters, being an alternate form of the original Eagle. Silverwing Eagle retains the core idea of her original counterpart, being a 5* Plant Ultimate-centric unit that functions as both a DPS and a support, falling under the Negative Status and Ritual Archetypes. She provides a steady stream of damage for the team whilst providing utilities such as buffing and facilitating Moxie gain.

Consider building her if:

• You’re looking to build a Plant DPS;

• You have access to the Dynamo Wheelchair;

• You’re a beginner who needs a competitive DPS for content like Mane’s Bulletin;

• MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR: You like her.

Consider saving your resources if:

• You already have a strong Plant team built;

• You’re not interested in the Negative Status archetype;

• You already have multiple teams available;

• MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR: You don’t like her.

Gameplay & Mechanics

Silverwing Eagle’s gameplay has two core components: 

• First is performing Follow-Up Ultimate attacks in the form of “Lorentz Tracking Method,” after she performs an active action. This is her bread and butter, an attack that deals a respectable amount of damage, but more importantly, gives 1 Moxie to Silverwing Eagle and the Plant ally with the lowest Moxie.

  • This allows Silverwing Eagle to reliably cycle through her Ultimate while also facilitating Ultimate usage of her allies, which is helpful for units that want to maintain constant ult usage, such as Hissabeth or Vila.

• Second is her ability to passively buff her allies. Through her Insight III, Silverwing Eagle can give a whopping 40% Ultimate Might, 40% Critical Rate, and 72% Critical Damage to Plant allies who attack enemies that have four Negative Status on them.

Her cards allow her to apply one type of Negative Status each, which is useful for increasing her personal damage and buffing numbers. Her Skill 1 in particular, “Chaos Bullet,” applies a unique Negative Status that lets her shred 15% of an enemy’s max HP, up to 7000% of her attack as Genesis damage every round which can eventually add up.

This means Silverwing Eagle can be played in two ways: either as a passive support for Negative Status carries like Noire, or as a main DPS unit supported passive supports like Hissabeth E1, the Dynamo Wheelchair, or Druvis III.

Her gameplay loop can be simplified as such:

If played as a support:

• Cast any of her skills every two rounds to make use of excess AP and to provide Moxie for her allies, prioritizing her Skill 1. If used with AP positive carries like Hissabeth E1, Silverwing Eagle can use more AP as needed to gain her Ultimate faster. That’s pretty much it.

If played as a main DPS:

• Gather enough Moxie to cast her Ultimate;

• Use her Ultimate then use her two cards to trigger “Lorentz Tracking Method” three times, allowing Silverwing Eagle to gather enough Moxie to use her Ultimate the following round;

• This means you’ll dedicate three AP every round to maintain Silverwing Eagle’s rotation;

• Use your tuning to force her cards to appear if possible;

• Rinse and repeat.

Synergies

Due to the nature of Silverwing Eagle’s kit requiring Negative Statuses to maximize her damage and buffing, you’ll want teammates that provide a good balance of Negative Statuses while also providing buffs related to Ultimate damage.

• If running her as the main DPS, the Dynamo Wheelchair duo of Enigma and Charon is a powerful option.

  • Charon, Enigma, and PF3 provide tons of universal offensive (de)buffs while providing good survivability;

  • Charon’s ability to discard his cards and let the ally in front of him cast their ult for 0AP gives Silverwing Eagle a lot of AP to work with to maintain her rotation whilst minimizing card draw RNG.

  • Charon’s “Fear of Death” debuff counts as a Negative Status for the purpose of Silverwing Eagle’s kit.

• Rhiannon is a generalist support, and with her ability to cast her cards for 0 AP, easily discards her cards to reduce card draw RNG and to give Silverwing Eagle more AP to work with.

  • Additionally, the “Babble-Gabble * Bendith” applies a Critical DEF down debuff on the enemy, which counts as a Negative Status.

• Hissabeth with her Euphoria 1 is a DPS with supportive capabilities that can provide up to six Negative Statuses while giving the team up to potentially 60% Ultimate Might. She also benefits from Silverwing Eagle’s Moxie generation

• Noire is the dedicated Negative Status DPS who has access to a collection of debuffs, which amplifies Silverwing Eagle’s buffing capabilities whilst taking advantage of said buffs to further increase her own multi-cast Ultimate’s damage. She also benefits from Silverwing Eagle’s Moxie generation.

• Vila , with her Euphoria 1, causes allied Plant, Spirit, and Intelligence units’ ultimates to count as Rank 3 Incantations, allowing her to provide multiplier and critical-related buffs to these cards. Furthermore, her “Song of Inspiration” card synergizes with Silverwing Eagle’s Moxie generation, letting them provide a steady stream of Moxie to the entire team.

• Druvis III using her Euphoria 2 is a passive support for teams involving Silverwing Eagle, and her “Firebud” debuff counts as a Negative Status.

• Argus with her Euphoria 1 is a good ally option of Silverwing Eagle. Her “Pinpointed” debuff counts as a Negative Status, and she takes advantage of Silverwing Eagle’s respectable buffing thanks to her great personal damage.

• 6 and An-an Lee with their Euphoria 1 can provide a steady stream of buffs and debuffs, including a good amount of Negative Statuses.

• Generic Ritual supports like Melania , Moldir , and Getian work well with Silverwing Eagle. In particular, Melania and Moldir’s “Passion Drain” and Getian’s “Shape of Bones” all count as Negative Statuses.

• Recoleta P1 with her Euphoria 1 deserves an honorary mention due to her ability to force Silverwing Eagle to cast her own Ultimate three times every single round.

• Marsha and J with his Euphoria 1 are powerhouse generalist sustains that can inflict “Burn” on the enemy, which counts as a Negative Status.

Team Suggestions

A powerful team if running Silverwing Eagle as the team’s main DPS.  Dynamo Wheelchair + Rhiannon provides a ton of buffs while both Charon and Rhiannon can quickly discard their cards to give Silverwing Eagle more AP to maintain her rotation.

Between Silverwing Eagle, Charon, and Rhiannon, this team can hit the 4 Negative Status threshold to maximize Silverwing Eagle’s buffs and her ultimate’s personal damage.

With Charon’s simplified Ritual, all the supports can cast their ultimates for 0AP.

The team takes advantage of Silverwing Eagle’s consistent Moxie generation combined with “Flood of Fiction” to let her cast three Ultimates every round.

Silverwing Eagle borrows the Rank-Up team to form a respectable double DPS-Support duo with Argus.

This team also satisfies the 4 Negative Status threshold thanks to “Firebud” and “Pinpointed”.

This team uses Silverwing Eagle and Hissabeth to help provide Negative Statuses and amplify Noire’s damage.

In this team, Silverwing Eagle takes on the role of a passive support unit, mostly needed for her Negative Status related buffs and her ability to facilitate the team’s Moxie requirements through her Insight.

Build

Psychube

• Outside the City - Jiu Niangzi’s signature chube. It will take a while to fully stack its effects, but when it’s done stacking, this allows Silverwing Eagle to reach high amounts of critical stats.

• On the Hand of Time - Flutterpage’s signature chube. Another decent option as Silverwing Eagle can consistently maintain the Critical Damage buff if ran as the team’s DPS.

• Rehearsal of Dreams - Noire’s signature chube. Grants Silverwing Eagle a hefty Ultimate Might and DMG Dealt bonus, but can take a long time to stack up, unless ran with An An Lee E1 who expedites this process with her “Exorcism Time”.

Resonance

Recommended pattern: Elucidation. Silverwing Eagle mostly does her damage through Ultimates.

Portrait

She’s pretty much only competitive at Portrait 5. That said, all her portraits are given for free in-game so there’s no real reason not to have her at P5.
