Review
Piayera is a Constant Affinity Debuffer/Support hybrid, heavily focusing on increasing skill CDs and disrupting the enemies while boosting her team’s damage and survivability at the same time.
S1 is a single-target attack that hits the enemy once with a high chance to increase all of their Animus Skill CDs by 1 turn.
Although very straightforward, this attack’s gimmick is powerful, as CD increase is one of the most effective ways to disrupt the opponent’s gameplan. Raising this skill to lvl5 is important because you’ll find your Piayera using her basic attacks very frequently, and the SPD nodes are found here. Highest priority.
S2 is an AoE buff that introduces a unique buff as well as a bit of randomness. All allies receive [Grace Card] for 2 turns, increasing their damage by 30% and reducing their chance of being crit by the same amount. After applying this buff, 1 or 2 of [Immunity], [Invincibility] and [Heal Over Time] are randomly applied to your team for 1 turn depending on the skill’s lvl.
Getting this skill to lvl3 is important, so make that your first priority. Come back to lvl 5 for this skill after the other two are fully upgraded. This will improve your turn cycling efficiency a lot.
Rogue Phantasm is a crippling AoE, hitting all enemies twice with a high chance to inflict -20% Turn Meter on each hit, [DEF-] for 2 turns, as well as apply a brand new debuff for the same duration: [Psi Sleight]. After this attack, Piayera immediately takes another turn.
[Psi Sleight] forces the enemy to make a choice: either they use a basic attack and lose a massive amount of their max HP (can’t be lethal damage, and is based on Piayera’s own max HP vs Bosses), or they use an active skill and their entire team’s CDs are increased by 2 turns. The effect is removed from the whole enemy team after being triggered once by any of them.
Starting from lvl3, each upgrade offers a noticeable improvement, with lvl5 greatly improving Piayera’s turn cycling. 2nd priority to get to lvl5.
In PVE, Piayera struggles to find a spot: her Support tools are nowhere near the top of the roster, and her debuff/disruption side simply doesn’t translate well into the PVE meta, a.k.a burst, burst, and very high DPT where applicable. Still, she can be used in Terror, as many others can, and she can also find a place in Nether Quarry when the fight favors her.
In PVP, Pia’s a bit difficult to use due to her vulnerability to cleanse, a role that can be fulfilled by many Animuses with hardly any trouble. That makes her very dependent on the state of the meta and the drafting strategies of both you and your opponent, but at the same time successfully landing her S3 with no counters feels awesome, and will often give you a very strong advantage over your opponent. She doesn’t have any synergies that stand out way above the rest, as her effects can benefit any kind of team that relies on exchanging blows. If anything, having CD increase and powerful buffs from S2 already make her a compelling unit, with S3 being more of a ‘cherry on top’, you don’t expect it to get through the opponent’s defenses, but it still forces your opponent to play around it constantly.
Piayera is an interesting and unique Animus who can hold her own in PVP without being oppressive either. Her gimmicks are all strong but fair, playing around rare buffs and a debuff that absolutely requires an answer, letting her set the pace even if she doesn’t use her skill! With a clear PVP design, it’s natural that Pia’s balanced kit doesn’t shine as much in PVE where hyper-offensive units are favored.
S2 provides rare and powerful buffs.
CD increase on S1 is always strong.
S3 needs to be played around, even without pressing the button.
Not great for PVE.
S3’s power is balanced by being easily counterable.
Needs high Skill lvl investment.
Build
For Early Game build tips when it comes to what modules and Shells to use before you start farming Red rarity, check our dedicated guide:
1
An absurdly strong combo Shell that allows the wearer to skip the cooldown of the ability used on the turn this Shell is active. The wearer can use their ultimate or skill twice back to back, unlocking usually impossible personal and team combos. Also grants the wearer a 10% SPD boost after use for 2 turns. Mainly used in PvE burst/combo compositions or PVP. Can be used on both Supports and DPS situationally.
Her best in slot shell thanks to making her s3 always activate twice .
Best Module Sets:
2
A mostly PVP-focused shell option designed mostly for Supports and Sustain who can't contend for the initiative. Each Mortal Essence stack allows them to ignore all the negative effects from a Damage Skill that hits them, ensuring they can't be easily neutralized by Debuffers and CC openers. Could see use in niche PVE situations.
it can be useful in long fights.

Speed, Effect ACC, HP%
For Piayera, focus on getting Effect ACC main stat. One HP or DEF main stat can help in case needed some tank stats. The most important sub stat to this animus is speed so try to get as much as you can unless you need a dispeller to go first.
