Tier List - Introduction

Neverness To Everness is a game where team building is very important, as everything revolves around picking the right Attributes and Esper Cycles. As a result, rating characters strictly on how they perform within a given category may not give the full picture. As of release, there are two tier lists: general tier list and team tier list. About the Team Tier List

Our Neverness to Everness Team Tier list ranks the performance of the full team composition relative to one another, factoring potential endgame content. For this list, tests and calculations have been done taking the game modes Beyond the Rail and High Risk Commissions.

It is important to note that this Team List gives a general panorama of the most functional teams in-game, but doesn't aim to list all the possibilities of teams. Players are also free to come up with their own compositions or switch characters if they are missing one or more.

General Criteria

The Team Tier List has no categories and instead rates full teams. The Team Tier List covers teams from two angles:

Ensuring all meta-relevant teams are ranked.
To include as many viable team archetypes and cast presence as possible.

Take into consideration that many characters in NTE can play more than one role, and that some teams can have multiple characters who can fill the same slot. In that case, players are free to choose the character they have available or choose the preferred role for a specific character.

Team placements are determined based on their overall damage ceiling and efficacy across varied endgame content, with higher teams being capable of clearing said content faster than lower-ranked teams.
