Remielle's [Refringe Coefficient] is equal to 0.02% of her Anomaly Proficiency. If there are 3 [Anomaly] characters in the squad, her [Refringe Coefficient] increases by an additional 10%.
When Remielle triggers a Refringe reaction via a squad member, she generates [Voidflare] based on the Anomaly Effect Strength after it has been enhanced by [Refringe] from the Attribute Anomaly effect. Up to the 3 most recently generated [Voidflare] can be stored.
If [Assist: Flower & Feather Dance]/[Ultimate: Dazzling Curtain Call]/[Basic Attack: Rainbow's End]/[Basic Attack: Fleeting Grace] hits a target, [Luminize] is triggered after the skill ends:
Based on the total [Anomaly Effect Strength] of all stored [Voidflare], this deals Attribute Anomaly DMG to the enemy using the corresponding skill's DMG multiplier. This multiplier is further increased by 0.1% of Remielle's Anomaly Proficiency.
All stored [Voidflare] are cleared when Remielle enters the Phase Flow state or after using [Basic Attack: Rainbow's End] or [Basic Attack: Fleeting Grace].
BASE ATK: 0
Additional Ability Invitation to Bloom
When another character in your squad is an [Anomaly] character or shares the same faction:
When there are 1/2/3 [Anomaly] characters in the squad, upon entering the battlefield, all squad members gain an ATK increase equal to 6%/12%/40% of Remielle's initial ATK, up to a maximum of 1,600 ATK. Additionally, while in the Phase Flow state, Remielle's Daze dealt increases by 6%/12%/35%.
When Remielle applies [Lumiflux Buildup] to an enemy, they also inflict [Prismatic]: When all squad members attack an enemy affected by [Prismatic], Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by 15%. [Prismatic] is removed when the enemy no longer has [Lumiflux Buildup]. After [Prismatic] is removed, the Anomaly Buildup Rate increase persists for an additional 8s.

Mindscape 1
Upon entering the battlefield, Remielle gains 3 special Voidflare. In Investigation Zone mode, this effect can trigger once every 180s. When Remielle triggers Luminize to deal DMG, she ignores 50% of the target's All-Attribute RES.
When using [Assist: Flower & Feather Dance], she gains 200 Decibels. This effect can trigger once every 18s. While Remielle is in the Phase Flow state, other squad members' Attribute Anomaly DMG increases by 10%.
Fall Into the Noise
Mindscape 2
Remielle's [Refringe Coefficient] increases by 20%. When an [Anomaly] character in the squad deals Attribute Anomaly DMG to an enemy affected by [Prismatic], the attack ignores 15% of the target's DEF. This effect persists for an additional 8s after [Prismatic] ends. While Remielle is in the Phase Flow state, the frequency at which she automatically launches attacks to apply [Lumiflux Buildup] to enemies increases.

Mindscape 3
The Long Goodbye
Mindscape 4
When Remielle triggers Luminize, the DMG multiplier is increased by an additional 12%. After Remielle enters the battlefield and gains 3 special Voidflare, if all [Voidflare] are consumed, she immediately gains the maximum number of special [Voidflare] again. This effect is removed after triggering once or when Remielle enters the Phase Flow state.

Mindscape 5
Lone Feather's Endless Flight
Mindscape 6
When Remielle uses [Basic Attack: Rainbow's End] or [Basic Attack: Fleeting Grace], Luminize is triggered twice. If the 4th hit of her [Basic Attack] lands, Remielle gains 3 special Voidflare after the move ends. Special [Voidflare] gained this way deal DMG equal to 25% of the special [Voidflare] gained upon entering the battlefield.

Review
This tier list assesses Agents (characters) based on their combat potential in Zenless Zone Zero's most demanding contents - Deadly Assault (DA) and Shiyu Defense (SD). Please keep in mind Zenless Zone Zero is a skill-based game and each character has a different playstyle, difficulty level and even special tricks and combos. Zenless Zone Zero is also a team based game and it's only by combining both these factors to the highest level a character can reach optimal performance.
A “Void Hunter” who is both incredibly strong and versatile, packing great buffs, Daze application and personal damage contribution.
Lumiflux and Luminize inheriting elements means that she can always have a matching weakness no matter the enemy and can also get around any resistances.
Surprisingly simple to pick up, with a straightforward gameplan that makes her be highly accessible.
Kind of a baddie... actually definitely a baddie.
Ridiculously long animations for her burst and Phase Flow, with Anomalies and ally buffs being at the risk of falling off, robbing Agents of field time.
Limited synergy with most Anomaly Agents, as Lumiflux doesn’t work like a traditional Anomaly and Luminize fails to benefit from many forms of Anomaly DMG.
Highly reliant on her own and other Agents’ Signature W-Engines, as her Voidflares scale with other Agents’ Anomalies, demanding the whole team to be well built.
Qualifies for senior discounts twice over.
Remielle is a Lumiflux Anomaly Agent, who is capable of both buffing her teammates and dealing high amounts of damage while doing so.
There are lots of different unique mechanics and systems to Remielle.
First is Lumiflux, her element. It’s distinct from all others, instead being tied to the element of the character that comes after her. So if Remielle is placed before a Physical Agent, her attacks will be treated as if doing Physical DMG.
Floating Radiance is her gauge, which caps at 120. She begins with it filled, and some of her attacks can refill this. She needs to have it maxed out to access her next mechanic: Phase Flow.
By holding the Special or EX Special button when Floating Radiance is at max, Remielle will enter a Stance Shift mode and trigger a Quick Assist. Swapping out of her during this time puts her on Phase Flow, a state where she cannot be swapped to but will fly around and attack enemies while consuming Floating Radiance. Some of her attacks in this state will, on hit, apply the next mechanic: Lumiflux Buildup.
Lumiflux is not a traditional Anomaly, as Remielle’s attacks do not apply Lumiflux Anomaly, and instead accumulate Lumiflux Buildup. This is tracked with a unique gauge split into 4 parts, where each enemy can have up to 4 instances of Lumiflux Buildup at a given time. During Phase Flow, Remielle will randomly use one of 3 attacks, applying 0, 1 or 2 Lumiflux Buildup depending on which is used.
Whenever a regular Anomaly is triggered on an enemy that has Lumiflux Buildup, one of the instances is consumed to trigger the next mechanic: Refringe.
When Refringe is applied to an Anomaly, it works as a unique, completely unsaturated multiplier that Remielle provides, scaling with her Core Passive/AP. This is applied to the Anomaly as a whole, which means that other mechanics that scale with it (like Ablooms and Vortex), benefit from it as well. If an Anomaly triggers Refringe while Remielle is in Phase Flow, this builds the next mechanic: Voidflare.
This is tracked via the 3 pips under Remielle’s portrait in combat, and each Voidflare will capture the values and attribute of the Refringed Anomaly that triggered it. If 3 of them are built, the swap-lock from Phase Flow is removed, and swapping to Remielle will lead to the next mechanic: Luminize.
Swapping to Remielle when 3 Voidflares are built will cause her to use Assist: Flower & Feather Dance. This is cast automatically, and when it hits enemies, it will refer to the Anomalies captured by the Voidflares and trigger Luminize, being an instance of damage that scales with the Voidflares (but will not consume them) as well as the Assist skill level, which determines its Luminize multiplier.
As an example, if 2 Physical Anomalies and 1 Ether Anomaly were captured, Remielle will do 2 Physical Luminizes and 1 Ether Luminize, benefitting from RES advantages. They will not, however, benefit from the Anomaly DMG type, so a Physical Luminize is not Assault DMG, it’s only Physical DMG, which is important for buffs and effects (Jane’s Core Passive would not apply for example).
Since Luminizes scale with the stats of the Anomalies captured by the Voidflare, her own stats do not change the stored values. Only the strength of the Refringed Anomalies, as well as the multipliers (which Remielle’s AP does influence) matter.
Using the swap-in Assist when Remielle has less than 90 Floating Radiance will not consume any of it, and put her in the Luminous Reflection state. If she’s at over 90 Floating Radiance, 40 Floating Radiance is consumed and she does not enter the state. This matters because while in this state, she gets an upgrade to her enhanced Basic Attack.
If there are any Voidflares built, holding the Basic Attack button will lead to Rainbow’s End normally or Fleeting Grace if Luminous Reflection is active. This matters because both attacks will consume Voidflares, setting them to 0, and trigger a Luminize for each one used. The upgraded enhanced Basic Attack, Fleeting Grace, has double the multipliers of Rainbow’s End, so Remielle should ideally only be swapped to when at under 90 Floating Radiance to get the better version.
Both Basic Attacks will build 120 Floating Radiance though, allowing for Remielle to go back into Phase Flow and begin the cycle again.
It’s in Remielle’s Core Passive that her Refringe Coefficient - the value that it buffs other Anomalies by - is set. It will scale at a rate of 0.02% for every point of AP that she has, but if there are 3 Anomaly Agents on the team, it gets a fixed 10% boost.
Luminizes that she triggers also get enhanced by the Core Passive, at a rate of 0.2% per point of Remielle’s Anomaly Proficiency.
This is a direct increase to her Luminize damage and is not saturated by her skill multipliers.
The rest of her Core Passive pertains to outlining the Voidflare behaviour. It’s important to be aware that Voidflares will only build while she’s in Phase Flow, and once Remielle enters it, any Voidflares not consumed will be cleared!
As for her Additional Ability, it needs Anomaly or same faction characters, and it gives the entire team an ATK buff that scales with Remielle’s own ATK, up to a cap of 1600. For 1/2/3 Anomaly Agents, 6%/12%/40% of her ATK is converted, which means she’d need 4000 ATK total even with 3 Anomaly Agents to max out the bonus.
She also gets 6%/12%/35% increase in Daze to attacks while in Phase Flow.
The final effect of her Additional is Prismatic, a debuff that’s applied to all enemies that have at least 1 Lumiflux Buildup on them. This increases all Anomaly Buildup Rate by squad members to the target by 15%, and while the debuff does disappear when there are no more Lumiflux Buildup instances, its effects remain active for another 8s.
Remielle has a regular Basic Attack string, which applies 1 Lumiflux Buildup on its final hit. This isn’t worth using as she gets them while on Phase Flow.
She also has a hold Basic Attack which builds Floating Radiance, but as her enhanced Basics give a full 120 of it, it’s not used.
Holding Basic Attack when with Voidflares leads to either of her enhanced Basics, Rainbow’s End or Fleeting Grace, which have a 160% and 320% Luminize multiplier respectively. As previously mentioned, Remielle needs to be in the Luminous Reflection state to access the latter, but this can be done every time her swap-in Assist is used so long as it's done when under 90 Floating Radiance.
These are the only skills in her kit which consume Voidflares, so they’re left to the end of her burst to spend them before going back into Phase Flow.
As Remielle is often locked out of a swap and only takes to the field for Luminizes (of which all triggering skills make her invulnerable during cast), her Dodges don’t see any use.
Remielle’s Quick Assist, Defensive Assist and Assist Follow-Up very rarely see any use, as she can’t be swapped to while in Phase Flow.
Her swap-in Assist: Flower & Feather Dance, is the centre of Remielle’s gameplay though. As previously mentioned, it will trigger Luminizes but not consume Voidflares, with a 320% Luminize multiplier.
Making sure that the Luminous Reflection from this skill is activated is important to maximise her damage, so try not to swap to Remielle too quickly and lose out on the buff.
It also has the ability to extend stun durations by 3 seconds when it hits stunned enemies, making it always worth using as the time spent on it is made up by this effect.
Both Remielle’s Special and EX are a means for her to access Phase Flow. The transition to the Stance Shift state can take a while, but if the skills are used on stunned enemies, they will always automatically transition to Phase Flow, so no waiting is needed before a swap-out.
The EX Special also has the additional effect of applying 2 Lumiflux Buildup on hit, but it has a 60 Energy cost, so it won’t always be available.
During Phase Flow itself, the 3 random attacks that Remielle uses can build quite a bit of Daze owing to her Additional Ability. Entering the Phase Flow state also bestows an 18% DMG buff to all squad members for 60 seconds, scaling with its level.
Although Remielle cannot be swapped to while in Phase Flow generally, with it demanding 3 Voidflares to be held for the swap-in Assist to be unlocked, she can technically be swapped to if Floating Radiance runs out without there being enough Voidflares, or by using her Chain Attack.
Remielle’s Chain Attack should be avoided in most scenarios, as despite it allowing for a swap into her before 3 Voidflares are ready, this means she won’t get her swap-in Assist.
As Phase Flow resets Voidflare counts, this means she’s not only missing on damage from the Assist, she also gets fewer Luminizes on her enhanced Basics.
The Chain Attack will apply 2 Lumiflux Buildup and activate the Luminous Reflection state, but this does not make up for the loss of the Assist.
Her Ultimate on the other hand, is very strong. It can trigger Luminizes without consuming Voidflares, and has a high multiplier of 336%, so Remielle’s ideal “combo” then is to swap-in Assist, Ultimate, then finish with the enhanced Basic Attack.
For all of Remielle’s mechanics, she has a straightforward gameplay loop:
Begin by holding Special to enter Phase Flow early in the fight.
Apply 3 Anomalies to generate 3 Voidflares for Remielle.
Swap to Remielle for her Assist, Ultimate if available, then use her enhanced Basic for Luminizes.
Hold Special to enter Phase Flow again.
That’s the gist of how she’s used. There is potential for optimisation, as following this strict criteria isn’t always best.
If possible, opening stuns with Remielle’s hold Basic is best, as it allows for it to do damage without losing stun time to its long animation. This can be hard to set-up though, so while ideal it won’t always be possible.
As her enhanced Basic also has a very long animation, it isn’t always worth using in stun. Agents that can build Anomaly while still contributing damage (like Abloomers), or in Vortex teams, it can be better to delay its use to after stun and prioritise other Agents damage then.
If an Ultimate is available shortly before a stun, it may be best to save its use to in stun if it doesn’t come at the cost of total Ultimate count or alignment later.
Likewise, overcapping on Voidflares can sometimes be fine if it doesn’t lead to fewer Luminizes in a fight. Remielle might be close or at max Voidflares, but going into her long animations could lead to buffs or Anomalies dropping, or mean she ends up getting a bad combo in stun. In these situations, holding back on a swap to her may be best.
On Vortex teams, this isn’t as much of a concern owing to the long 30-second duration, but it can still be a factor at times.
In the aggregate though, getting as many Luminizes out as possible is a priority, and much of her teams’ optimisation comes in making good use of the other 2 Anomaly Agents instead, like by maximising the number of Vortexes or keeping Disorders going in spite of Remielle’s long animations.

For ZZZ calculations we worked alongside Rivyn Elowen. Any other content such as comments on W-Engines, Disks, etc are our own.
The W-Engines are listed in order of priority. Sometimes the percentages appearing near them won't reflect their performance as pure damage or Stun output isn't the only thing we're looking at - the utility of the W-Engine might be more important than the calculations imply.
The W-Engine calculations below are full team calculations, and here's the team used for them.

Feathered Fate is the tailor-made set for Remielle. The Anomaly Proficiency bonus on it is permanent, and although the Attribute Anomaly DMG it provides lasts for only 15 seconds, it remains active when she's off-field and is refreshed whenever she's switched in, meaning it's effectively always up. If her ATK needs are being met, then a 2-piece AP is best, otherwise fall back on ATK % to make up the difference.

Teams & Synergy
Below we list only the most important synergies for Remielle. The character can work with others if you know what to do and how to use them.
Velina - Velina is an indispensible partner for Remielle. Owing to the latter's long animations, Disorder based teams suffer a lot, which means that a lot of the value that Remielle brings through Daze and damage is offset by the loss of it from missed Disorders. With triple Anomaly teams not being able to benefit from Yuzuha, Velina's Anomaly build-up RES reduction helps plenty too, not to mention that many of the better Anomaly teams in the game make use of Velina as a sub-DPS pick, with older units like Vivian and Burnice failing to keep up in that spot. As a result, Velina is the one unit that enables Remielle to do as well as she does, with a large gap in Remielle teams that do and don't have her.
Aria
Promeia
Burnice - All 3 of these Anomaly Agents work as some of the best drivers for Remielle teams. Aria is the best of the lot, as her high Anomaly build-up gives plenty of Voidflares for Remielle to use, and losing out on Ether Veils isn't as big an issue as she can give up on some of her stun time to Remielle. Promeia does great too, with generally high damage and the potential for strong Anomalies for Luminize to scale from, not to mention great personal Decibel generation that can make up for the loss of Anomaly counts from not running an Agent like Yuzuha. Burnice also works great, with good Anomaly build-up all around and being one of the few that doesn't suffer too much from Remielle's field time owing to her Afterburns.
Jane Doe - Jane and Remielle are not that great a match, given Remielle's long animations make it harder for Jane to maintain her W-Engine and Luminizes do not benefit from Jane's Core Passive CRIT effect. Even her Potential Unlock doesn't do much to help, but none of this matters when Jane is at an M2+ level, as the damage that she can dish out - especially in a Vortex team - is so high that few Agents can compare. When coupled with Remielle's buffs and personal damage, the two can go through most encounters in the game with ease.
Alice
Grace
Piper
Vivian
Yanagi
Miyabi - All other Anomaly Agents still see benefits from Remielle. Alice is a stand-out, as her Polarity Assaults can help generate Voidflares quickly, but the rest still do great simply because Remielle's high buff value and damage contribution makes her work as an Anomaly 3rd slot. Grace and Piper have decent Anomaly application to sustain Luminizes, and Vivian not needing to take to the field much, with her value coming from Ablooms, means she doesn't suffer as much from Remielle's demanding field-time. Even Yanagi and Miyabi can do fine, giving decently strong Anomalies for Luminizes to scale from, so Remielle can find a place in many teams in spite of her lack of synergies. For more Teams, check this video:
